I've come to this location a couple times now, most recently to bring our two cars in for oil changes. Any time I've come here to have my car serviced they've been both friendly and professional. The courtesy inspection they provide is also nice to be able to get an idea of how various parts of your car are doing and what needs repaired/replaced and what can wait.

The staff was very lovely and quick with figuring out what was wrong with my car. They made sure to come inside and explain what was going on and which parts were needing work, as well as providing the price break down. The mechanic was even nice enough to take off some labor costs on certain areas, which helped the price a ton. When we paid and were about to leave, they came out before we left and explain the work they did that morning and we received a call the next day to check on how the car was running. We will definitely bring cars here in the future and recommend this place to anyone that needs car work

I appreciated the fast service. Good coffee in the lobby. I really like the fact they offer a inspection and will allow me to know what service I will need on my vehicle in the future.

The employee's at this store do not tell the truth. They make false accusations. God see's right through all of the lies they tell customers. Down to all the unprofessional behavior. They don't communicate appropriately. They try to attack Google reviewers for reviews, even if they haven't written the review. They were unprofessional with my vehicle. They did not correct my awful experience. They have a delusional sense of power and control over people. I hope and pray they are judged for all of their unprofessional misconduct. They gang up on customers, when accused of doing wrong. So that way they can manipulate the customer and situation to their financial benifit. They literally encourage me to sue the owner of this Midas location. Because they fight customers. They argue and are rude to people. In being uncooperative, they know most people, won't go through the trouble to sue them. How they treat their customers and stick up for their customers, should be on their conscience. You should have more respect for people. Your employees know how to take advantage of their relationships with management to avoid accountability. Definitely manipulative business tactics. It's shameful thing to do to fellow Americans. God know's it. Jesus Christ, Amen.

OK so I was disappointed at first because it took so long but Mike kept his word each time I called and he made sure everything is up and proper. And without a AC unit traveling was getting a little swampy. So I am a pleased customer. A very happy camper again. Thank you to all that was and is involved.

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with an auto shop, and I will never take my car back to Midas. I had an appointment to get my brakes done at 11:30 AM. I told them I probably need both axles done because I wasn’t sure which ones were making the squealing noise and I’ve had my car for 2 years and had never gotten them changed. They told me that would look and let me know what needed done, they called me and said that my front axle was in good condition but the back axle needs new brake pads and rotors. When I first called to check in, I was told it would take about an hour and a half. The second time I called, I was told they still didn’t have the parts, but that it “should be done soon.” Then at 5:00 PM, I called again and let them know I needed my car immediately because I had to pick my child up from daycare — I was basically told “not their problem.” I showed up in person to grab my son’s car seat, and that’s when I was finally told (honestly, this time) that they hadn’t even gotten the parts yet. Then the guy working there tried to tell me that even though I don’t drive a hybrid, my back brakes needed special hybrid parts. It made no sense. He made a phone call about the parts while I was standing there, then walked out without saying a word — I’m assuming to finally go pick them up. I got a call shortly after saying my car was finally ready — nearly 6 hours after my scheduled appointment. When I arrived, I complained about the ridiculous delay. The manager offered me $50 off for the inconvenience, which I appreciated — until I showed him a $50 off per axle coupon that was available online. He tried to tell me he had already given me a discount, and sarcastically asked if I was just going to “add a coupon on last minute.” (Uh… yes? That’s literally how coupons work.) I had to argue just to get the coupon honored — something that should have happened without question. I still ended up paying $445 for service that wasn’t even done properly. The real kicker? The brakes were still squealing when I drove away. I brought it back in, and they said the rear brakes (the ones they did) were fine, and the front brakes just had “rust stains” and needed cleaned. I bought cleaner and sprayed them myself — the squealing didn’t stop. I finally took it to a different, trusted mechanic. I was told my front brake pads were nearly gone, and they were shocked Midas didn’t catch it — or worse, ignored it. I was told my brakes were in such bad shape that if I hadn’t gotten them fixed that day, they might have completely failed. So to recap: Midas gave me the runaround, made me wait 6+ hours, tried to deny a valid coupon, gave me incorrect info about parts, did a half job, and sent me home with dangerous brakes. Never again

I would highly recommend going to Midas at the Coldwater Rd location. I had a leak and wasn't sure what is was but they did an inspection and were able to tell me exactly where it was leaking. Blake and Jesse were amazing with everything from all the questions that I had to actually getting the job done.

I hate 90% of mechanics. These guys are opposite to the majority, they are reliable and trustworthy. They keep their word, they honor a given quote. I appreciate their expertise and work ethic. Reggie the store manager has been a joy to work with over the past year. Mike the owner has a few locations and has really maintained a good reputation with me. I've had issues with a few things assumed to be related, called Mike and he said if it's something we did, we will take care of it. To me that's honorable. You can't expect perfection from anyone but you can appreciate effort. These guys go the extra mile to maintain customer relationships. Thanks guys! I appreciate you helping me with my daughter's car! In this case particularly, your commitment to excellence shined through like the morning sun! 19/8/6 Back again! Came in for a small noise from the rear end, o2 sensor and oil change. They ended up finding my rusted out and broken exhaust hangers were allowing the exhaust to hit the rear end causing the noise. They saved me time and money by repairing one hanger and replacing the other 2. Thankfully they did this, the quick repair saved my flex pipe that connects the engine side of the exhaust to the mid pipe under the car that runs to the rear of the vehicle. Had they missed this repair, it would have damage all of my exhaust system. Could have cost me a thousand dollars! Exhaust can be pricey especially while traveling. Thanks guys! I'm finally giving up most of the maintenance on the bottom side of my vehicle, arthritis is getting the best of me. I could not do it without having a reliable shop I can trust. Mike is a dependable owner and maintains the same standard at his Fort Wayne locations. I've used coliseum and Coldwater. I prefer Coldwater from my experiences.

If I could give zero stars I would. My sister came here a few weeks ago to get her car repaired and this place honestly had her messed up. A month ago her car was towed here and she was told that she would need a new engine because her engine was unable to be repaired. They never looked thoroughly into the issue, first of all. Then they quoted her over $10,000 for a used engine for a 2011 Chevy Equinox. So she took it somewhere else and it in fact was NOT her engine, but something completely different was wrong with her vehicle. The repairs cost her $4,000. So, this place misdiagnosed her vehicle and tried to charge her an astronomical amount of money for nothing. Do NOT take your vehicle here, they will scam you and try to get as much money as they can out of you.

I dropped off my sons 2001 saturn that needed brakes at Midas in Fort Wayne. They said it would be a while and they would call me with details etc. I was doing some shopping so I was fine with that. They called me the first time with a price of $600 and some change for pads and rotors on the front. It sounded high but I needed it done and didn't want to hassle with them myself so I said do it. They called me again after the initial quote and added a caliper on the right side which brought it up to $820. I was not so happy about that, but now they have it torn apart and again I just need it done so go ahead. They called me third time to say it needed a caliper on the other side and I was furious! This brought the price up to over $900! I told the guy I felt they were ripping me off and I needed to speak to a manager. He put me on hold and came back and said they would do the last caliper for free. If you ask me this is a really shady way to do business and I WOULD NOT TAKE A VEHICLE BACK TO THEM! They did a good job on the brakes however so I'm giving them 3cstars for that, but the business is just shady and WAY overpriced. My son drove this car until the brakes were almost falling off and I couldn't really drive it anywhere else. I needed help and I feel like I paid a huge price for that. GEE THANKS MIDAS!

Brought my truck in (short notice) and they got me in diagnose my brake issue very quickly and made the repairs in a very timely manner. The gentlemen at the front, wish I could remember their names, were very helpful. I will take my cars here anytime I need repairs. Great place.

A NEGATIVE IS WHAT I COULD GIVE IF I COULD. My friend went to them to get her car fixed and they didn’t know what was wrong with. Started throwing our prices yet the car was not even looked at properly but wanted some money. They gave her some ridiculous price one a USED PART. Come to find out at a different shop. What they were quoting was the wrong part and the part wasn’t even the problem at all it was something else and the price wasn’t even no where near to what they where giving her.

My serpentine belt came off on my way to work early in the morning. I scheduled a 9:30am appt but Jessie and crew were able to get me in as soon as they opened at 8am. Turned out that my tensioner was bad resulting on belt coming off. The customer service was top notch and I was back on the road in just a few hours.

Had an apt for oil change on used car I just got. They were able to do several other jobs same day. Prices comparable if not better and the customer service was above average. I left town and they helped me over the phone. I would definable recommend and I will be coming back.

Great people at this location. Fresh Keurig coffee, mini fridge with Diet Coke and a water machine! I thought I was in heaven, until I heard their hourly rate.
