I always have and always will go to the Midas on Glendale. The service there was professional, transparent, and quick. I went in for an oil change asking about my AC for my 85 van, and the team there went right to work on it without hesitation. However, complications arose, and what would have been a $200 charge for the service was taken off because my van's compressor didn't work properly. So, the service team took the charge off. Truly, this is an exceptional team of workers, not just professionally, but ethically as well.

If I could give the Midas (#115) on Glendale Avenue six stars, I really would. As a woman, I get nervous going to dealerships or auto repair places because I never know if someone is going to try to upsell me or tell me something that isn’t true. I went into Midas after the place that did my last oil change told me I needed my back brakes replaced. They took my car back to check everything out. I will be honest, I sat there worried they were going to come back and tell me both my front and rear brakes needed to be replaced. I was expecting a huge bill. Instead, Don, who was working on my car, came out and told me something I wasn’t expecting at all. My brakes were completely fine! I didn’t need anything replaced. The previous place simply hadn’t been honest with me. It is extremely rare to find people who are that honest, especially in an industry where a lot of shops make their money by selling parts and fixing things. I was genuinely shocked and so grateful. They could have easily charged me for work I didn’t need, and I never would have known the difference. Instead, they were upfront, kind and truly looking out for me. I am so impressed by the level of integrity at this location. If I could leave six stars, I would. This will absolutely be the place I go for my oil changes and any future car concerns. Thank you to Don for being so kind and honest, and thank you to the Manager John for making the whole experience feel safe and trustworthy. If you go in, definitely ask for Don. This team is a rare find!

I can’t speak anymore highly about this Midas and manager Pablo!! We recently bought a used car and took it to a dealership to have it inspected. They quoted us $2000 to replace only the back 2 tires!!! And that the tires would take 5 days to arrive. Anyway, I called this Midas store and spoke to the wonderful Pablo who was able to get me very reasonably priced tires the next day. While I was in the shop he found that the tires that the dealer was trying to get us to buy only costed $200 each!!! Safe to say that I will only be trusting this location with my car, their honesty and customer service is priceless! Thank you to Midas Glendale and especially to Pablo!!!

Came into the shop today for an oil leak and was helped by John. My costs were way more than expected even with my warranty. I have been going through a rough time to where I'm recently divorced and homeless ( I live in my car) but somehow John got my cost down to where I walked out the door and practically paid nothing. He is a god send and a truly wonderful person. The technician Logan got my car running perfectly in no time. I appreciate both of them for what they did for me. They are truly goodsends. I had lost a lot of faith in humanity with how evil this world is but they showed me today that there are still good ppl in this world who are willing to help those in a time of need. I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs repairs. They are wonderful and took care of me. I am forever grateful to them and will always continue to give them my business moving forward. I don't know how to repay them but I pray God gives them everything they ever need in life without question .

John and the team were wonderful! I was in town visiting for the holidays when all of a sudden my car started smoking from under my hood. Ended up needing to get my coolant reservoir replaced and John was able to get me in the shop last minute and fixed my car adequately and was very affordable to get me back on the road so that I could travel back home. If you are in the Toledo area and need work done, look no further than this Midas ! John and team will absolutely take care of you and won’t try to rob you either !

I wanted to give this place 5/5 stars but how the ending of my car was handled really disappointed me. I initially came in to diagnose the issue regarding my temperature gauge. They told me there was a suspected leak which they needed to run a pressure test and that it was an additional $60. I agreed. They told me there was a leak on the lower hose and I agreed to the fix. They gave an out the door price of $440. My car was completed near closing time and as I was driving off I can hear and feel something dragging underneath my car. It was my skid plate. I barely made it a minute out. I immediately drove back because that was terrifying to hear. The manager immediately told his staff to remove the skid plate. I came into the shop without this issue. Prior to even coming into the shop, I had my friend take a look underneath my car to make sure there wasn’t a leak and everything was in place we both visually inspected underneath the car. It was the fact that they stated that the skid plate was installed incorrectly prior and that’s why it was like that. No it wasn’t. I did not drive my vehicle around like that. They really just removed my skid plate and showed it to me as if it came in like that when we had checked it prior. Truly disappointing. They told me I can operate the vehicle without it but the principle of the matter is how they put my car back together poorly like that. They told me to purchase a new skid plate through Honda which was actually so frustrating. I was just shocked how it was handled to even respond appropriately. I get it, it was closing time but that was truly wrong to just do that to a customers property. They told me to purchase it through Honda and come back so they can put it back when it wasn’t damaged to begin with. Now I am a little nervous if my car was truly fixed especially with the way the car was put back together. It is so frustrating and disappointing at the same time to be out $440 and then having to spend additional money to replace a piece of my car that I did not damage. I am concerned about the work that was done to my car as this car is supporting my livelihood. Trust and integrity went out the door after all of that.
