the owner of the shop sent me a very vulgar email stating that my car was “gone beyond repair” with many other profanities that i will spare your eyes from. i then took it to another shop and my vehicle was fixed in a day. do not support these people!!! they are very rude and unprofessional. i think i was targeted because i was a girl… or perhaps mexican as much as i hate to think it…

Caught this guy using a socket wrench on one of his employees while they were SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING ON MY CAR! I quickly ran out of the garage where they were “performing” and when they chased after me, they insisted I signed an NDA or else they were going to press charges for defamation of character. Definitely will NOT return and felt the need to warn anyone who’s willing to listen to a victim

Treated my passed away father’s car with disrespect, and put my job on the line in the process due to a very unprofessional incident on their end. Wouldn’t consider giving them my money again (Edit-7 months later)- wanted to give an update on the car they called "junk". 34,000 miles later, new rims, multiple trips to and from ohio/florida, I can fully say with confidence that this car is far from junk and I'd put money on it that it will outlast whatever car the owner of this business is driving. Would add updated pictures and videos of it even doing donuts if google allowed me to add pictures when I edit. Still have yet to have dealt w a more unprofessional business than this one, seriously. Please stay away if you value your time and money.

My car has over 150k miles and hasn't had enough attention over the years... she's the ultimate mom car - works hard, not a lot of care. I put off the needed shocks/struts on the back, even though they were DEAD, because I didn't know who to trust. Rick @ Diamond Automotive was recommended to my daughter, who had a great experience, so I called. He gave my car a full evaluation, estimated what needed to be done now, and what could wait a bit, then gave me a more than fair estimate. It was done same day, and my car rides so smoothly now that it feels like it's brand new. He put together estimates for the other things that need to be done, discussed what my boyfriend can do (wasn't even bothered by that, which I appreciate) and now he has a customer for life. He also did a few minor body repairs for me, just to tighten things up, at no charge. Having an auto shop I can trust and that does wonderful work is amazing! Thank you!

I have been coming to Diamond auto since they have opened in 1990. I’ve had nothing but the best service and upmost honest repairs. As I look at some other of these last 10 reviews before me I realize it’s a bitter person just trying to lower their review ratings. So if you want an honest review look beyond the last 10 and it’s obvious it’s one person having others target Rick. He is a very hardworking honest mechanic and it’s unfortunate these so called people would degrade him as his followers for over 34 years would know better. Keep up the good work. As for the continuous bashers….get a life. To call him out for being a girl and Mexican he has a very diverse customer service.

I was having a electronic problem with my 2011 Chevy Equinox it would drop into reduced power mode. I had taken it to several electrical shops in town and they would keep it for weeks if not months of call me 2 weeks later to let me know they don't know and for me to come pick it up. My mechanic recommended Diamond Auto, his nephew Chad works there. Rick, Chad & the crew got me back on the road in a week and she drives like a new car. Honestly, hard working, good price. Thanks fellas Sincerely Larry Raines III

What started with fear and anxiety ( window wipers that were not stopping) - ended with calmness and satisfaction. Both Rick and Chad broke everything down - to even a 5yo could understand. Their patience and understanding of a car is mind blowing - I just found a new team! Customer Experience was exceeded!

My car started to over heat and I took it to diamond auto. Rick was there when i dropped of my car he was very nice and listened to my concerns. My town and country van is almost 20 years old and has many things wrong with it Rick acknowledge this things without trying to upsell me and focused on the over heating issue to get me back on the road. They got my car fixed in a reasonable amount of time and at a GREAT price. I will more than likely be bring my cars to this shop again.

They did a successful job on fixing up my little red car where it is much safer and able to handle what it was doing before as needed (Chad literally took the time and effort on figuring out what all was truly wrong with it and then took care of each problem he discovered within the best timely manner possible where I wasn't worried about him getting the car fixed up asap because I knew that car required fixing up where it most definitely was going to require a necessary amount of time and patience due to what all was very wrong with it). Also they done a very good job on fixing things on my gray car where now the car is good to go.

Best place to go for anyone who needs repairs or service with professionals. Rick the owner, not only found time to get me in, but also did a inspection, explained to me what issues he found, and proper recommendations to get them corrected, He also kept me up to date as things went on, if something had to be addressed later on he made sure to inform me before hand, to plan out what I needed to do next. Just by far amazing service compared to anywhere In have been.

5 stars every time hands down. Found Diamond Auto roughly 1.5 yrs ago. Have had work done twice, and 3 detailed, honest quotes. Can't even begin to explain all the problems I've been having with my Mercury Mountaineer lately (due to poor maintenance on my part) These guys won't let you leave unsatisfied. You truly get what you pay for. My last mechanic of 6 years did a good job and his prices were slightly lower than here. And I'll gladly pay the extra and go to Diamond Auto to have a GREAT job done. I've been told(and previous reviews can tell you as well) the owner is a good guy, helps anyone out the best he can and be as fair as he can be. And they weren't wrong. My Mountaineer is an 07 with 258200 miles on it. The difference from when I brought it in two days ago, is insane. Seriously feels like a different car. Can't thank Rick and his crew enough for their amazing, hard work, and the comfort knowing my babies are now safer!

Our car was rear-ended and we took it to Diamond for repair. Rick was very thorough with his estimate, and handled everything with the repair and taking care of all the insurance process. We won't take our vehicles anywhere else.

To anyone reading the reviews of this business, please read my two reviews. Rick(the owner) keeps having his own employee write reviews as to make themselves look better. They claim my car was in “disrepair” and that my car was “too old to work on since it was made before 2010” when that was not the case at all nor did they say this was the case until the situation was over. I took pictures of where they abandoned it, and the condition of the car. besides for rust on the fender and on the extra set of wheels i had on, there’s no rust anywhere, especially not the undercarriage. My car was NO WHERE near being rotted out or a safety liability, as chad keeps trying to claim. after running to go get my car in the rain after they abandoned it in a parking lot of an abandoned school building, I brought it to another mechanic that fixed the issue in 4 hours. I’ve had the car looked at multiple times by other mechanics and Diamond auto is the first one to claim that its a “rust-bucket”. They only started claiming it was a “safety liability” after they got mad at me, for literally calling to get an update the day they SAID theyd have it done. I do want to add that they claim to have “refused” service, when they quoted me the day after I brought it and said they’d have it done by that Friday. Nobody “refused” service. This situation only happened because I called to get an update on the car the day they said they’d have it done and you started throwing a fit that my car was leaking on your lot and that it was a “piece of junk” and that you had bigger jobs to worry about. Then started yelling at me when I said it was wrong for you to have wasted 3 days when I couldve found a better more qualified mechanic in that time period. Not once did you say anything about a rusty frame or rusted oil pan(both of which are not close to being rotted out btw. I’ve had multiple QUALIFIED mechanics tell me the car is in good shape and that’s it’s unbelievable that a business could act in such a way.) until after I said I was going to leave a bad review because of the situation. Not only are you lying to your customers about what happened, but you’re trying to make me look like the bad guy!! The fact that you have to have your employee make a review to defend yourself when you publicly called my car a piece of junk AGAIN online is unreal. Your responses to your customers speak volumes. Karma is real. you’re twisting the story completely and I truly hope you run out of business for how you act. I’m 20 years old and act more professionally/mature than your business. truly an unbelievable experience all around. 0/5 stars, please stay away!!

From one local business to another 5 stars! With the help of Shane's Towing and Diamond Auto we were able to have a service truck towed and the fuel line replaced line and back on the road again in under 24 hours. Time is money as we all know. A Big Thank You for Rick for taking great care of us!

I’ve had to take my vehicles here a couple times just bc they were the closest to me I would not recommend them. I took my jeep cherokee in for a new radiator which cost like 125 for the part and they charged me damn near 900 along with charging to diagnose it. I’ve never in my 30 years of life had a shop charge for a diagnostic fee on top of doing the repair. It was summer time and my pregnant finance’s jeep so it needed ac so I had them get it done. Next I brought in my van I had another shop work on they figured out what the problem was which was the thermostat which is a 30$ part, the shop installed a defective thermostat and they replaced the defective one with a new one. they again charged me for diag and the new thermostat which was around 500$. Which I needed it done bc it’s my work van and it wouldn’t work without overheating. I planned to take it back to the original shop to make it right. Next was a work truck I just bought that had abs lights on and no power for hvac system. I had them diag the problem they told me my rear passenger side wheel bearing was bad just for them to start taking it apart after approval and see it was just the sensor. The reason the hvac wasn’t working was bc someone cut the instrument panel wiring harness, just one plug that had 19 wires. Asked them if they could order the plug to rewire it. They did but then said they couldn’t get it and said I needed a whole new wiring harness. I said that I would mess with it. While all the was going down I checked in a couple times they were honest with me told me it wasn’t the wheel bearing just a sensor they brought a concern to my attention that passenger side u bend knuckle needed replaced bc it was missing some gaskets I told them I would think about it and when I went to pick it up. They had replaced it which I was like whatever bc they didn’t need to replace the wheel bearing. Well they again charged 2 diag fees onto of the work. Charged me for taking the wheel apart down to the wheel bearing even though that wasn’t the issue. Charged me for the plug which when I got it back I realized why they couldn’t get it to work bc it wasn’t the right plug. The plug they had have 4-6 wires extra then the original. They new this a still charge me for buying the plug and attempting to try to fix it. I called them back after just looking at it and not wanting to do it that I wanted them to order the part and get it down I had to call twice the second time was Rick who said he’d order it and that was almost 3 weeks ago. I would not recommend these guys. I know about running a business as I have my own but to price gouge the way they do is beyond ridiculous

We had a great experience. Rick explained what needed to be done in detail and gave us a fair estimate. The work was done that same day and he even noticed a few other things that needed repaired. The whole experience was great. Rick is knowledgeable, professional and takes pride in his work.
