Love those guys! I been using their service for a few years. I am not one to make schedule appointments in advance so when I call the day of and need to get in. They have always found a spot to get me in. They have always done good and only charge for the work they do.. No over charge or adding parts.Everyone of them are wonderful and even their sassy little front desk gal that gets after those guys. Lol.... Thank you all for your wonderful service.

Called before I brought my vehicle in. Once dropped off, They gave me a call back and provided a quick diagnosis and listed my repair options that could be provided by them. After making my decision to use their services, they promptly repaired the issue and called me to pick up my vehicle the following day. They were very professional and informative and provided wonderful customer service and support as expected

Take your car *ANY* where else but here if you want to actually be treated with any type of respect. They have zero customer service etiquette. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a young girl that clearly does not want to be there. They have a sign in the window for full synthetic o/c for $49.99. The girl at the front tells me it will be $71? I ask why is it $21 more than what is advertised in the window and she pointed at the counter where their pricing is and pointed at the WRONG type of oil change (not synthetic) and said this one is $50.....well no that isn't for a synthetic so I again asked why the sign in the window shows $50 for a full synthetic and I was being over charged. She rolls her eyes, and then goes and asks the tech for explanation. There is labor, dumping, etc fees - okay! That is alllllllll I was asking for. I then show her I have a coupon, and she says its $61. I explain it is a $20 off full synthetic coupon expiring the end of this month...again rolls her eyes and gets the store manager (Paul I believe) who came out from the back and basically yelled at me saying "we gave you $10 off and the oil change is being advertised as $10 off, so that's your $20. No - that is actually not clear anywhere in the store that the oil change is "on sale for $10 off?" Also, my bill was $61...so I did NOT receive that full $20 off coupon, I only received $10 off. Not really sure why these people get weirdly mad about using a coupon that THEY are advertising for online? Also what kind of store manager talks to customers in such a rude and condescending tone if you ask any simple questions? I won't ever waste my time coming back here. Learn how to treat people respectfully, especially ones that have been repeat customers for some time.

I called ahead of time for a price to get a diagnostic test done I was told it would be $50 nothing more was said when it was time to get my car I was told it was $100 I told the front desk lady I talked to someone about it being $50 I still had to pay $100 very disappointing! Not only that on the receipt it says “customer said they needed a new transmission” that never came out of my mouth I didn’t know what was wrong with my vehicle that was the whole point of me bringing it there… go to any other Midas but this one

The same mechanic here gave me three different quotes for the same job in 2 days, and only once did the price match what their website said. They were extremely rude when I tried to ask a question. I wouldn't trust this place unless you're okay giving money to these scammers.

I had work done here about 2 1/2 weeks ago, new front brakes, rotors and for them to fix a very well know leak issue in Kia’s, had to go back 1 week after for a bad smell of burning rubber, gave my keys to the lady at the desk, next thing I know is there is an employee (male) taking off in my car, stated to the lady at the desk that I should have been informed of my car being taken out and given the option to get my purse out of the car first, she had no answer, informed her that not only was my purse in my car but inside of my purse there was a gun and the employee just took off, was told the smell I was smelling was oil on the new brake pads, I am female but not stupid I DO KNOW the DIFFERENCE between burning oil and burning rubber, now on to the leak issue, 2 1/2 weeks after they fixed the leak this is what I have going on, call and talked to a man that obviously didn’t care that they didn’t fix the issue, he was very condescending in his attitude and words, no apology nothing other that an exasperated I guess we’ll have to look at it AGAIN!!!!

I normally have my routine maintenance through my dealer but I've lost interest in them and having to wait 2+ hours for an oil change. I decided to try out this Midas shop, due to a coupon that I got, and I'm very happy. Scheduling an appointment was quick and easy (there was a hiccup in the online schedule but I received a call within a few minutes to correct it). Upon arriving, I was greeted by an awesome employee, Carl, who got me booked in and had the truck pulled into a bay immediately for an oil change/tire rotation. 20 minutes later I was out the door! Great staff, customer service and attention to detail!!!!

If I could give 10 stars I would. I brought a fleet vehicle in for repairs. Paul and his team kept me in the loop. They were pleasant, helpful, timely, and professional .... all of them. I am still in shock as you don't find that level of care anywhere anymore. It was a great experience and got me and my work vehicle back on the road right away. Good job, guys! Keep it up!

I appreciate the service I get at Midas on Garfield by Canal in Clinton Township. Their mechanics are very good at explaining what your vehicle needs. I feel they are honest with their feedback, which is important to me and others that I refer to them.

I was mailed a coupon for an 19 95 oil change and told them on the phone when I scheduled service. When I brought the car in they said they could only give me $10 off. Bill was till 57$. Why send me a coupon that you won't honor? Bad business

I took my vehicle to this Midas twice in this same year. In the spring for brakes, just yesterday for exhaust leaks. On each case my ONLY issue was the packed parking lot. I got there at 8 AM and squeezed into what otherwise would never qualify as a valid parking space. Midas seems to know that car problems affects the family, not just the driver. A loved one has to follow them for drop off and pick up and the family is down a car for the day. I know that's a "first world problem" ... but in each case (brakes and then exhaust) Midas had me back on the road, at the quoted price, by the end of the day. (In fact, the final exhaust price was $50 less than the estimate.) It makes sense why their parking lot is packed. With service like that customers are apparently coming back when their vehicle needs service. I'll be one of them.

I had occasion to contact this location twice in the last month. Both times, in the late afternoon, I dealt with a woman. In person, she seemed quite put upon by two quick questions. On the phone, I got placed on hold for the simple question, " Do I need to schedule an oil change?". Turns out the answer is yes. I did make that appointment, next available - for my schedule - was 3 days out. I was curious if I would get to be reacquainted but found her not there. All went smoothly save one item: I had a coupon for the oil change & tire rotation for $39.99 for synthetic oil (mine is, 0w20) but was charged $52 & change w/tax included. Still over $20 less than the previous place but more than indicated. I'll check back on that. The car was done in under 30 minutes and I'll return even though it needs to be scheduled. I think I can handle that. 😉 Might even raise the rating after some more interaction.

I recently experienced an issue with my vehicle, which I initially took to KES. At the time, the engine light displayed a steady yellow glow, but subsequently changed to a blinking yellow. The service representative informed me that this indicated a potentially hazardous problem. Fast forward to January 2026, my car failed to start, necessitating a jump-start service. Due to concerns about the vehicle's reliability, I elected to have it inspected at Midas, located within a 1-mile radius. Notably, the engine light remained steadily yellow after leaving KES. Following an inspection, a Midas associate determined that the battery, installed six months prior, was undersized and lacked sufficient power for my vehicle. I opted to install an Interstate battery, which came with a 3-year warranty, albeit at a higher cost. However, the investment proved worthwhile, as the engine light has since remained off. In retrospect, the $1,500 tune-up at KES ultimately revealed a battery-related issue. The inadequate battery had caused damage to the radio and sunroof, rendering them inoperable, and also prevented diagnostic readings. Thank you Midas! The entire staff both kind and professional. Thus far you have resolved two issues for me. If any other issues arise, you are my go-to.

I wish we could give different stars for different sectors of a company. So the mechanics were great, very polite. I was a bit late to my appointment for oil change due to heavy rain and very slow traffic on the road and they had no problem with it and took the car as soon as I came. That would be my positive experience. My negative experience, on the other hand (and the only reason I give 3 stars) is the receptionist. Very rude girl. I came in and in a kind and happy voice I told her that I have the appointment and called to let them know that I will be a bit late. A little backstory- the car is not mine - but my grandmothers’ and I am taking it to oil change because my grandma is old and doesn’t understand anything when it comes to oil change; she doesn’t even know how to put air in the tires. So the receptionist asked for a name and I told her that the car is not mine and does she need my grandma’s name cuz its her car - she rudely tried rushing me saying whatever; I told her the last name and she had my father in the system and asked if I want to put it under his name and I said yes. She asked for the make model and year of the car. I told her I don’t know it - I just know its Chevrolet and she rolled her eyes saying the following words “So you don’t know the make and model of your car” before I could finish saying (for the second time) that it’s not my car - as I was talking to her - she turned her back and left to ask the mechanics for the details. Mind you - there was nobody else after me waiting in line so she didn’t have to be rude and rush me out of there. Before I could tell her that I have a coupon (which I told them when I was scheduling the appointment) she printed a paper and told me I could go and she left to go sit with the mechanics. Once one of the mechanics came to tell me the price - that’s when I told him that I have a coupon and I couldn’t get a word out because she was being rude (I actually felt uncomfortable saying anything because I felt like if I say I got another word that she would lash out on me or something). All the rudeness and rushing was only for her to go and sit down and talk and laugh with the mechanics. I actually felt like she hated that she had to “deal” with customers and that she didn’t want to be at the reception at all. Overall for the customer service representative I would give one star and for the mechanics I would give five star stars
