I had an incredible experience at Midas, thanks to Lance! He was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about helping me. I came in for an oil change and to check my brakes/rotors. I figured i would have ended up needing my control arm replaced (kind of figured my ball joint was getting sloppy), along with brakes and rotors. They walked me through everything, explained the costs clearly, and even found ways to save me money. The work was completed quickly and with great attention to detail. My car is running like new, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. If you’re looking for an honest, reliable place to take your vehicle, hit up this. Midas—you won’t be disappointed!

They were absolutely amazing. JJ at the front desk was super helpful in explaining what I would need fixed and his recommendation on what to prioritize and what could wait. The mechanic was absolutely amazing, he came in and gave great explanations and education on the issue. I have had great experiences each time I've been here.

Great place overall I got helped by J.J he was supper helpful front right when I walked into the auto shop. I originally went on for an oil change but his team pointed out a very big problem with my car I wouldn’t have caught myself. I came in for a motor replacement. The motor job has been good, no leaks. Motor is running good. BUT, after the motor swap my a/c was stuck on the defrost vent. I brought this to the managers attention after a test drive & I was told “It was like that when you brought it in”. I drive this company vehicle all day, everyday. I would know if it wasn’t working & it would have been fixed prior. I investigated the problem & found an a/c vacuum line was not re-attached to the intake manifold on the motor after the install. I re-attached the vacuum line myself & now my a/c works as normal. I’m leaving 2 stars because they could have easily made this mistake right but they decided to blame the customer.

Fantastic job! Came in with a few issues with my car, Check Engine Light, ABS Light, brake fluid, oil change, ext.. The guys here took care of me and my car so well!! They figured out the issues informed me of them and how to get them taken care of. Gave me the price before hand, let me think over each decision and were able to get everything fixed up and ready to go.

I was straight up lied to by the manager JT, and one of the techs. After my oil change, I began noticing a burning smell. My good friend who is a mechanic checked under the hood to find that the oil cap was left off and oil had been splashing out onto my engine. My oil was found to be low and dirty. Next, we found that the brake fluid cap had been left off as well. This causes contamination from moisture in the air and can lead to brake failure. I took it back to Midas to be addressed. First, they told me the warranty was void because my friend looked at it. After a few minutes of talking they finally changed the oil for me. When I expressed my concern about the brake fluid, they assured me that the brakes felt fine and that the fluid was okay. I continued to press them and asked that they do a contamination test again so that I could see. Rather then show me, they threw it away and immediately went and flushed and replaced my brake fluid. I appreciated that they made up for their mistake, but they lied right to my face. I won't be going to Midas, or at least this location, anymore.

I went to Midas Muffler today because I needed a new Muffler. I was running 15 minutes late for my appointment, but J.D., the guy helping me, took me anyway. He was very courteous and professional. I'm happy I went there today. They have a good atmosphere in their waiting area. They have coffee and cold drinks that are completely complimentary while you wait. J.D. was thorough and provided a price before they began work. He did a fantastic job replacing my trucks exhaust and muffler, and for a better price than my mechanic. I think my mechanic is going to be losing some business, lol. They're a great place to have service done on your vehicle. I definitely recommend going to Midas Muffler when you need something repaired or fixed.

I originally called the other location on Washington Blvd run by Tom but google maps took me to JJ which turned out to be Tom’s brother. I called Tom to let him know the mix up and he said his brother would take good care of me, which he did. Got my rear brakes and rotors replaced as well as an oil change in less than an hour and half. They of course do an inspection before which is perfect that way they can tell you exactly what it needs and how much. JJ was awesome and so were his mechanics! ❤️ Will definitely be back in the future.

I was able to schedule an appointment within 1 day and the Midas team accommodated my work schedule. They are charging less than HALF of what competitors are for a standard oil change! They did not try to upsell me on air filters or any other unnecessary services and I was able to get in and out with my service completed in less than 1 hour. I highly recommend this Ogden location for vehicle service!

I own, as of this review, a 2011 Toyota Corolla. I bought it new last year and had the alignment done somewhere but it never felt correct. When I brought it into this Midas shop and expressed my frustrations with the alignment Kevin, Sean, and team got to work right away. After identifying that my struts were bad, I was brought to my car and was shown the struts and what was wrong with them. They then gave me a cost to fix the alignment with the new parts before starting the process. I was there a total of just over an hour and my car finally drives straight! Thank you Kevin and Sean!
