I would definitely recommend Midas on Harding St. In Roseville. The price was very fair also. March 24, 2025 another oil change and check. It's always a pleasure dealing with Nick. He's so pleasant and helpful. He makes sure I'm satisfied and I appreciate all staff who work there. Thank you again!

After waiting patiently during a warranty service appointment at Midas (212 Harding Blvd, Roseville, CA 95678), I was abruptly told that appointments at this location are for drop-offs only and that I was not allowed to wait in the lobby--something that was never communicated to me when I booked the appointment. Rather than offering any reasonable solution, the staff informed me that they had ten other vehicles to work on and insisted that I leave. When I asked why my appointment was not being honored, I was met with hostility. Shockingly, the manager (David) threatened to call the police and charge me with trespassing simply for waiting in the lobby. He also said he had a gun. This level of aggression toward a paying customer is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. To make matters even worse, after failing to provide the initial service I paid for, the staff refused to issue a refund.

I came in very intimidated. I think anyone does when their check engine light is on.... And the oil needs changed... And maybe the windshield wiper needs fluid and yes, the tires indeed need air. Dave was very understanding and assured me every step of the way. He thoroughly explained and educated me on many things regarding my car. You can tell he loves what he does and his customers that come in. Safe to say this was a pleasant experience and I thank the Midas team for getting me in the next day i called.

The staff is always very friendly. They are always honest and upfront about the needs of my vehicle and have never tried to pressure me into a service. If I ask for an inspection on something (i.e. spark plugs), they will let me know what the specs are, and let me know if it needs to be done soon, or if it can wait. They are always honest about pricing and keep me updated throughout my service. Thanks to the guys at the Midas on Douglas, my car is at 324k miles, and running strong

I'm a local guide who doesn't post often. That means this is noteworthy. TL DR; Best mechanic shop in town. Always come here over anywhere else, fast, perfect, pay the extra $50 to save time. Buy tires at Americas tires OR find tires on their website and buy them elsewhere without salesmen Highly rated shop in Roseville. I'd recommend them over almost any other shop in the area! Much better service than les schwab! In fact, they fixed issues that les schwab created. They have excellent technicians. I chose this shop because they are experienced enough to do everything up to and including valve adjustments on your engine! Fair prices, however, it is a bit more expensive, but could be due to inflation. But worth it, because my car won't have to be in the shop multiple times like other shops before! Excellent customer service as well! Nice employees at the front, always helpful, always great service! At least as of July 2025!! Additionally, they get the parts in for your service! So no need to wait too long!! A large service typically only takes a few hours to complete! A MAJOR difference compared to the competition. Compared to les schwab, goodyear, or others, it could take ALL DAY OR TWO DAYS. They would take half a day instead... I recommend paying the extra $50-$100 to not have to go back to any other shop, plus they have a good warranty on their parts. I was able to get everything done on my car in under 4 hours. Full inspection on my car. Fluids. Fluid change. Air filters. Spark plugs. Brake inspection. And more. No mistakes, no issues, perfectly performed. Awesome mechanics. The only recommendation I'll have though for service other than here: America's tire has the best tires typically for your car. You can buy performance tires that brake harder, faster, softer tires, with lifetime warranties if you buy it online. I am sure they do that here, but it's much more intuitive without any sales people if you do it at America's tire website. To the owner: please make sure you give your employees a raise. I really don't want you to lose these guys. These guys are amazing. If you do lose these employees, I'd like to know where they go so I can bring my car to them!!

enjoy dealing with Nick. He knows his stuff and explains all of the work that needs to be done. He has shown me the problem in person on my car and explained everything so I understood that a repair was necessary. Pointed right to the leak or other problem. I always feel I have been treated fairly, and never taken advantage of, or talked down to. I have an older 2004 Subaru Outback, and I owe NO CAR PAYMENTS! I am very frugal, and I just want to keep her running, for not a lot of money! I have been back many times for simple oil changes, new tires, as well as more extensive work. Always a great outcome! Yesterday my 26 year old son needed 4 new tires, he had a blowout! He lives near Chico. His tires were pretty bald. I told my son to come to Roseville and we would talk to Nick. Nick said they didn't have the tires in stock at the Harding location or at the Midas Warehouse location. He told us he could order them but it might be next week before they came in. I have a Midas card, so I really wanted to put the tires on my card, didn't want to go somewhere else. I asked Nick to go ahead and order the tires and I wanted special financing of 0% for 6 months. He told me if it was over $300, no problem. Well today he called and said he got the tires delivered from San Francisco and we could get them installed today! Nick is a miracle worker and I trust him. Got the tires installed and an alignment, and they replaced the valve stems. The tires came with a lifetime guarantee. My son is back on the road with safe tires, and I am officially the greatest Mom ever! (we set up a payment plan, he is paying me back within 6 months). Thanks Midas, and thank you Nick!

I always get my oil changed there and thought I was a valued customer, but even when I made appointment they did not have time for me or my car. They did look at it but the guy in the office said "we can't help you" and rushed me out offering no explanation or help.

Brought my Jeep in to get a second opinion and estimate after visiting the local dealer. First, Nick up front is the best service rep I've ever worked with, great communication. Second, their estimate best the dealer by over $1k (it was a lot of work). Finally, they were able to get it all done on time and as estimated (no mystery additional charges!). In short, it's an honest shop that does good work in a timely manner at fair prices. Highly recommend.

Wasted my time and thankfully not my money here. Had been coming in for little repairs for years. Came in for an alignment, 3 and a half hours later I got a denial because inner tie rods were failing and control arm bushings needed to be replaced. I checked this out myself at home. Get this - they were fine. An honest shop aligned it in 20 minutes. Don’t make the same mistake.

I went to this service center today and was shocked by the customer service at the office. I wanted to replace the front struts on my car and asked if they worked with my parts. The guy at the desk said no.OK. I asked how much it would cost to work with their spare parts, he answered, but I didn't understand. I told him that I don't speak English well and so I used the translator on my phone, my son, who was nearby, helped me translate.The worker got angry and told us to leave. When I asked why I should leave, he replied that there was a customer waiting behind us. Does that mean I'm not a customer because I didn't understand him right away, or what? What kind of attitude is this towards customers, especially since this was my first time here.I decided to take a photo of this office and service to leave a negative review. This unfriendly guy said I couldn't take photos. That means the camera hanging in the corner can take pictures of me, but I have no right to take photos in a public place.Unfortunately, I didn't get my car serviced. Maybe the mechanics here are good, I don't know. But a guy who doesn't want to listen to the customer is a disgrace. I don't recommend this service.
