Came in for a smog check. Tried to use a coupon using my phone (their website has it) and they would not accept it. They said they can’t accept it unless it’s printed out on paper. An archaic method of printing out a coupon in this digital age. What is the purpose of printing out this coupon when there’s nothing special about the coupon (no special numbers or expiration dates). Yes, the website said “Click the image below to print out your coupon! Coupon must be printed and submitted at the time of the estimate creation.” But, let’s be honest here. We’ve all been to places that accepted coupons off the phone, even if they say to print it out. We are in 2025 and we still require to print out coupons. At least their smog check service was fast. About 15-20min. (No car in front of mine)

Don't pay attention to the bad reviews. The majority are petty and are a result of the customers ineptitude. I made an appointment for Sunday. No problems. In and out in about 15 minutes. Make sure your vehicle is up to temp. Saves time in testing. The young men were courteous and efficient. Nice clean shop and waiting area. Much better experience than the last place I went. Smogg king is my goto no matter where I move. They are knowledgeable about automotive, and not a "rule of thumb" smogg shop. They take the time to check everything out. - I have a car with carb legal modifications, intake, exhaust, new cat, and they didn't harass me over other things ove done to the car like ive had in the past at other shops.
