Took my car to midas to get a misfire fixed, over the course of a month I had to reach out for updates, amd was told it would be done multiple times which left me waiting at the shop for hours on multiple occasions because they said it would be done that evening it would be done, it wasnt. They diagnosed the misfire to a valve issue and push rods while also saying the head had to be resurfaced, they said they handles those things, after putting it back together and still having issues with gaskets or seals. I finally was told it was done, paid about 1800 for all this. When I got my car I checked under the hood noticed a shop rag, the hood seal was not put back on properly, the Strut bar nuts where not tighted when put back together, exaust/ downpipe was missing a bolt, a ground strap was left dangle under multiple vehicle and an exaust hanger not put back properly, and when I left the store the misfire was still there being I paid 1800 for the problem to not be fixed after being mislead to that being the problem and it not being fixed after the obvious to see things not don't correctly I am not confident much of the job was done properly considering thr problem I came in for and thought I was paying to fix was not resolved.

There were also a few other things that needed to be taken care of and they let me know what they were and what an order of importance of getting them fixed would be. They were honest that some of it could be done myself and did not make me feel that it was something only a shop could do.

I wish I could give them no stars. I highly recommend that no one takes their vehicle there. They lack communication skills with their staff. I brought my vehicle in to fix my problem. I found out from another place that they didn't fix the issue. Bad move Midas

i dropped my car off for brake light and headlight issues and they had my car for 3 weeks trying to diagnose the problem. they then called me and said they couldn’t find the problem so i ended up paying $200 for them to replace a headlight lamp. i just took the car to someone and they said some fuses we placed in the wrong place and it wasn’t an electrical issue and it took a total of 25 minutes to diagnose and fix the problem.

Didn't properly reinstall my brake shoe retaining pin clips following a brake inspection (that didn't even need to be removed for an inspection). Luckily, they were very overpriced so I did the job myself before driving anywhere but straight home. I'd hate to imagine if they had done that after service and I wanted to trust the brakes for thousands of miles. You can imagine my surprise when the clips were in the bottom of the drum and the springs and retaining pins were just hanging there not doing anything because of the missing clips! Edit: Went in with pictures of how everything was (not) together and they denied ever having touched them. Apparently somehow 4 clips that had held together for 112k miles all miraculously failed at the same time on my way home from there. Their callous disregard for safety is frightening. Pics are of passenger side, driver's side also had clips detached.

They currently have my car. Has been there since Monday 12-1-25, it is currently 12-4-25. All for a thermostat housing. I myself am a mechanic, so I can sympathize with the length of repair. What I cannot get behind is the lying to a customer. I was told by the manager Jerold that they would submit the necessary info to SilverRock to get the claim started on Monday. Nope, I literally had to call SilverRock myself on Tuesday to confirm that the claim hadn't been started at ALL. Then on Wednesday I had to get Midas on a 3-way call with SilverRock just to get the ball rolling. All while on Tuesday, the manager told me he had the pictures submitted. Now, here it is Thursday afternoon, part just ordered today, and I am still without a vehicle. What an absolute nuisance this whole thing has been. I sincerely hope this is just a one-off experience with customer service and that the repair is done accurately and correctly. Mostly so I never have to deal with this facility again.

Honestly one of the best mechanical personnel in the Area! Bought a used truck (and of course the check engine light comes on after I drive it off the lot.) so I brought it here! Now granted. I thought it was just a converter issue. Considering the situation I asked the mechanic to inspect it to see if there is any other issues. Without missing a beat (After his review.) he walked me out to my truck and showed me EVERYTHING!! Not even just the issues I mentioned! He personally pointed out everything, why it’s screwed, how to fix it, ECT! So definitely got my review already for that. Plus he added a military discount, discussed payment options, and got the price to where I need it to be! ON TOP OF THAT! Whenever I went in for my converter repairs the front lady (Martha.) was so kind! Even called me ahead of time to let me know my part came in early! (So no wasting my time! An got it earlier!). Plus considering all the parts they install are insured, and have labor warranties (Meaning if something crazy does happen they repair it for free!) then they will definitely continue to receive my business! Regardless this place is definitely going to get my money from here on out. From all the free inspections to ect!
