False Advertising , company was not honest took in customers car failing to inform that they would not release the car back to the customer until bill was paid in full witch was over $9,000 this left the customer without reliable transportation. Customer had to work 12 hour shifts for weeks straight and get into debt in a desperate attempt to get his car back and when he finally did it came back with unconnected sensor, pieces not fastened correctly,missing caps and customer claims to be smelling gas in the cabin very dangerous I do not recommend this place high price for low quality work, and after seeing all these other reviews somone should sue this place

My experience at Mike's Auto Clinic in Nampa was amazing! I had gone it to have a power steering fluid leak looked at, only to find out I had several damages to my car that made in undrivable. Josh had answered the phone when I had called and he was able to get me in that very morning with Cody, my mechanic. Although we had to wait all day and had still not gotten a text, we came in right before close and they had taken pictures of my entire vehicle, showed me the damages, and the cost of everything. I am only a teenager so I was struggling to figure out how I was going to pay, not only was Cody understanding, but he had helped me come up with options to pay. He gave me a discount of almost $400 off, by taking away the $201 diagnostic fee for the first initial analyzation of my car and adding a 10% discount, he then only made sure he was adding the cost of what was necessary to get my car fixed. My total came too almost $3,500 in total but the original cost was going to be $3,900! The only thing he asked for in return was a review! The original down payment for my car was $1600, and I only had $700 on hand and he took that money and had told me that he trusts me enough for the $700 to work as the down payment. He explained he has been a teen once and understands how difficult it can be to own a car and makeup the money for it. He explained my car was just simply undriveable especially for living 1.5 hours away from Nampa.the crew was extremely friendly, made small talk throughout the whole ordeal, and were very understanding! After I had gone home in a separate car, they worked as fast as they could to get my car fixed. I came in Monday morning, and they had fixed it by Thursday morning, test drove it, and gave me a complimentary bag of treats. They were extremely pleasant to work with! Although there could have been more communication on when my car was done, they didn't charge me for having my car there multiple days, only the final cost. Overall, I really appreciate the picture proof provided, the friendly atmosphere, and the amazing work on my car that still runs great after several weeks! They will not only check for what you're asking but will check your entire car, making sure it is safe to drive, taking picture proof, and updating you on what is wrong, helping you find the price that works best for everyone so you can leave feeling satisfied and comfortably complete! My throttle body was acting up and I was referred here from a couple friends. I was told they book out about a week but I was fortunate to get in a few days later. The inspection showed I needed it replaced and it only took them 45 minutes. They even took some money off because it was less than an hour. While hanging in the lobby I met two other long time customers who shared with me their amazing experiences with this place. I will be going here from now on. They are amazing! Went to Mike’s auto clinic fully expecting to need a whole new transmission. Thankfully they listened to my entire story and deduced that I had not let the transmission get truly hot before checking the levels, so they left it running for a few hours and rechecked the levels, sure enough it was a few quarts low and now runs great. The shop owner/manager was excellent! Honest, forthright, intelligent, and friendly. I thought my alternator had failed. He found the cause was a broken serpentine belt. His repair was less expensive than a replacement of the alternator, and he did it more quickly. Awesome job. I would highly recommended this place to everyone.

First visit there was multiple problems and reviewed with me and my son. Then a couple weeks later I detected a problem and of course. I was the only one that it did it to. But Mike's kept it for the day and finally found the problem. Problem fixed and it drives great I am an elderly woman and I appreciate that my car is working great.

I took my Ford Escape to Mike’s Auto Clinic because I assumed an independent shop would be cheaper than the Ford dealership for diagnosing and repairing my audio system issues. I was hoping Mike's could become my go-to place for routine maintenance like oil changes, brakes, etc. Mike's performed a thorough multi point digital inspection. I received a printout with error codes and pictures. It was determined the ACM needed replaced. The manager called me with the specifics and an estimate of approximately $2495. I declined the service. With the mgr, I expressed surprise. The priced quickly dropped to $2066.45, and another $500 off if Ford received the core undamaged. That discount would be determined after service. In the end, I took it to Kendall Ford in Meridian. They diagnosed, replaced and reprogrammed the ACM with a genuine Ford part and warranty for only $831, that included a $205 diagnostic fee. Mike’s original quote was nearly 3× higher than the dealer. I won’t be returning for any future service, and I can’t recommend them. The people at Mike’s are friendly, knowledgeable, and want to take care of you BUT......

I cannot say enough good things about Mike’s Auto Mechanical Shop especially Cody!! They truly went above and beyond for me during one of the hardest times of my life. I was dealing with major health issues, caring for 5 kids, and completely stressed about my truck needing a brand-new transmission. I didn’t have the money and honestly didn’t know what I was going to do. Mike’s didn’t just fix my vehicle—they helped me get through a crisis. They kept my truck for months (since July/August) without ever making me feel like a burden. They helped me find a lender who would work with my situation, and they were patient, understanding, and genuinely caring through the entire process. They even offered me lunch during one of my visits because of how much i was going through, who does that anymore? The whole team was incredibly personable, respectful, and compassionate. They treated me like a human being, not just another customer. Because of them, my truck is running perfectly again, and I can take care of my family without that extra stress on my shoulders. I’m forever grateful for their kindness, professionalism, and big hearts. If you need honest mechanics who truly care about their customers, Mike’s Auto Mechanical Shop is the place. Have 3 really good mechanics in Boise. One of which I have known and done business with since the mid 1990's. This is my daily driver. None of the 3 were able to diagnose the troubles I was having. Mike's Auto Clinic is one of the more professional shops I have had the privilege of working with. Not only was the diagnostic test successful. The repairs were done to my complete satisfaction.
