I have taken my vehicles to Kevin at Mike's Auto Repair three times since my wife and I moved to the Kitsap Peninsula. Each time his prices have been fair he's been forthright and honest and the work has been done right. He has also always had my vehicle back to ahead of the timeline he gave me when I brought it in.

Kevin is great! I highly recommend this repair shop. I was new to the area and happened upon them and they came in way under everyone else's quotes and costs on my 2001 Honda. Kevin is honest and a good mechanic. I won't go anywhere else.

I THOUGHT I had a lifter tick noise. 0 idea what it was but its gone and the code hasn't come back after it usually would. The noise is gone completely and all I needed was a new coolant reservoir (update, nah it came back after driving it like a hour). Didn't even have me pay for the diagnosis that I thought I'd still need to. Mentioned something that's going to go out soon and straight up told me replacing a water pump in my car will be expensive due to how annoying it is (which is fair imo). So now I know 2 things I can go make my in-law do while I visit and not end up on the side of the road stranded with a big ol repair bill in a few months. Process was ezpz and ill happily take my car to Mike's if I can't make it to my car obsessed in-law :D Turns out my engine was dying! Oil in my spark plugs for who knows how long and a lot of sludge alllll over when fam replaced the valve gasket, black oil when i changed it not even 500 miles ago. Fam told me this thing even drove like it was dying (its my first car, idk) but still thinks Mike's did good. Couldn't have known without actually opening her up.

My son referred me to Mikes Auto repair to replace my knock sensor 2 I had a lot of codes coming up and my car started running ruff I’ve been skeptical on repair shops because I’ve had bad work done and was over charged in the past but took a chance on Mikes! My car is fixed and running great a big thank you to Kevin and his team they are great I was very impressed with the process, communication, quality of work, and fair pricing!!! My wife's 7 seat SUV was out of commission with a blown motor. Kevin quoted me a very reasonable amount for replacement. The work was done on time, on budget and we are VERY HAPPY with the attention to detail/quality of work! They even caught two deficiencies not related to the motor swap and performed replacements of those two key components without any additional labor costs. The integrity and level of customer satisfaction at Mike's is excellent! In a day and age when quality, honesty and workmanship is hard to find, and prices are beyond ridiculous, I can wholeheartedly recommend Mike's auto repair with a clean conscience. UPDATE: More work performed on a different vehicle. Same great service, fantastic prices, excellent attention to detail and pleasant customer service. Best auto shop I've had the pleasure of dealing with in decades.

My friend took her van here on the referral from a friend. She had her work done on her van at a very, very reasonable cost. The work was done quickly. The van drives much better and there were no greasy hand prints or foot prints anywhere either. The pricing was very affordable too. Seems like a very ethical and professional place. Being someone who has been horribly taken advantage of by auto shops (some in the local area) I was reluctant to trust. Having no choice but to get past my concerns & take my vehicle to an auto shop for maintenance, I vetted several in Bremerton & based on the conversation, honesty, & direct information Mikes quickly rose to the top. Brought my wife’s car here on Thursday due to shuddering when braking, Kevin explained it could be anything from the wheel bearing to suspension or brakes and rotors. I was prepared to leave my vehicle over night but Kevin reached out not long after dropping off the vehicle, he said he was confident in the fact that it needed new rotors and pads, I gave the okay and no more than 2 hours later he called to say the job was completed. I’ve brought vehicles here in the past and my experience has ALWAYS been consistent, they do an awesome job, the prices are fair and they get the job done quickly! They have earned a life long customer not because of price but because they’re honest and great at what they do. I will continue to refer people to Mikes auto repair every chance I get. 10/10

I would feel guilty leaving a bad review because the folks here are really nice and they don't charge an arm and a leg, however: If you are an arachnophobe, DO NOT wait in their lobby for your car to be done. Spider webs/nests everywhere; on the coat rack, all over the shelves/books, on the chairs, I'm not sure how long its been since they vacuumed the place but it was bad. I'm genuinely surprised no other reviews have mentioned this. I know its an auto shop so expectations should be tempered, but I've never seen such a gross waiting area. That said, I might still come back, and I don't think they deserve a low rating for *just* that, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

My buddie is very thankful that mike took the time to get a wrench out of his engine that dropped in there. My buddie dropped the wrench in a impossible spot to get. We spent hours trying to get it out in the cold. Then I called Mike's auto repair and he said he will give 5 minutes of his time to get it out. He had a cool camera gadget with screen and showed us what two bolts to take out to push the radiator out the way. Then he got it out very easy. Thank you very very much.
