IT WAS A GREAT BUSINESS WHEN JOE WAS RUNNING IT BUT NOW IT SUCKS AND VERY BAD BECAUSE OF SO CALLED BAD MOUTH FROM THE EMPLOYEE BOB MAKES IT BAD WITH HIS MOUTH TO CUSTOMER PLUS ME AND MY FATHER DID GO THERE FOR YEARS NO MORE I WILL GO THERE AFTER THE EXPERIENCE I HAD FOR 3 DAYS STRAIGHT WITH BOB AND THE ONE EXPERIENCE I HAD WAS HE PRETEND HE WAS NOT BOB THAN HE DROP MY CAR OFF THE LIFT SO NOW HE IS OVER CHANGEING ME . I WILL SAY THAT I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND NO TO GO THERE AT MISTECH TRANSMISSION SHOP AND HE MAYBE CHANGE STORAGE .

Worst place ever I was having transmission problems so i called spoke to joe he said he would tell me what was wrong and how much to fix for free so i drove my van there he calls me two weeks later and said he has to rebuild the transmission for 2500$when i knew people who had theres done for 1500$ but i told him before he touched it that i can't spend 3000? On a car i bought for 3000$ he said it's possible that it was a part yhat was 850$ but he just said that to get me in the door because whenbhe told me 2500$i said i didnt have maybr in summer when i work more i would just have it done he said ok ill put it back together i said ok thanks go back a couple days later yo get it there no transmission in my van at all and 15 pieces in back seat staining the seats and carpet so i call him the next day to see why and he said no sence in putting it back when its bad but it rsn when i took it there then he tells me that i owe him 250$ and 50 dallors a day storage just for taking out the transmission i said i didnt know he was taking it out he said we dont take them out for free we don't need practice i never in my life had a estimate for a job i had to pay for

In response to Jack's review he neglected to mention we took his truck in with no appointment, and other shops in the area were at least a week out. The vehicle was towed in and he mentioned he was from New York, I was able to get his truck back to him the next day. I advised him I didn't know what his clutch felt like prior to the master cylinder failing, he tested it and said it seemed fine. If there was still an issue it would have been handled.

I brought my 2011 wrangler in w torque converter shudder, and had purchased a warranty from the dealer I bought the car from. I expected to have to jump through hoops of fire to get the problem fixed under warranty but mistech had my Jeep ready with a rebuilt transmission installed costing me only my $100 deductible . Service was excellent, kept me informed during the week it was there and couldn’t be happier w the job. I would recommend them to anyone needing transmission work/ repair.

I've waited to do this post because I wanted to make sure the transmission repair was up to par first. My transmission went out back in June. I was traveling at the time, and I couldn't afford to stay in the area more than a few days. The people at Mistech made every effort to get the replacement transmission ordered and installed as quickly as possible, even though they were slammed. They were kind, good at communication, and completed the work when they said they could. They even helped put the trailer back on my van, and fixed the light bulb issue with one of the lights on the trailer just because they could (no charge). This place was a great find, and I highly recommend them. 10k miles later, the transmission is still working like a dream. Thank you!!
