Here’s a tip- get a formal quote/estimate with his name, address, and business information. You won’t.Not sure how my previous review was removed but I am fervent about warning people about Max. He is rude, unprofessional, demanding, works out of his apartment illegally, and does shoddy work. I brought my car to him because it needed a new radiator. I paid for the part up front, he installed it days after we agreed, and only attached the hose! Didn’t even mount it to the manifold. I had to take my car back to him twice in two weeks from other problems that stemmed from his ‘work’ and when the radiator problem came up again the next month, he refused to even speak with me. Work is terrible. Even speaking with max is terrible. His operation is illegal and now I know why. He can’t stand behind any of his work. I tried to work with him to figure out what went wrong and he demanded more money and stopped answering my calls. Not to mention called me childish names. Insanity. I have reported him to the bureau of automotive repair. I hope they shut him down. I will keep reposting this experience as max keeps trying to take it down.

Max is the real deal!. I would call him a master mechanic for sure. He has been working on cars for over 40 years and really knows what he is talking about. I his prices are VERY fair. (Two other places that I checked gave me higher quotes so I drove 30 minutes from my house to have him do my work. I would definitely recommend him to a friend. I appreciate how he desires to have satisfied customers and would definitely take my cars back to him.

I'm a Dad who owns a repair shop. So, I normally do all the work on my daughters' cars. Unfortunately, one of them is 900 miles away now so not easy for me to help out when her Audi A3 had a problem. Dealer near her was outrageously priced and I needed a guy like me to help out. Max was a perfect fit... experienced and well mannered. I got a VW bug recently and I noticed some issues with the engine stalling. Some people recommended I find someone to work on it that specializes in German cars and max knows his stuff!! Some other people in his reviews claim he “isn’t a good people person” but he was super nice explaining what was going on to me and my fiancée and cut to the chase about what needed to be done and how much it was going to cost, which I appreciated so much. Also he made time for me within the hour of me calling to ask if he had any time to check out my car.

Called Max on a Monday evening at 10 minutes to six with an issue where my young son, on his way to college, traveling with his younger sister had broken down in West Hollywood. I am in Washington state and was quickly becoming a helpless feeling panicked parent. Driving out of temperatures that were hovering just below 100 degrees and heading into temperatures 110+ degrees I knew this was a trip that would challenge my sons car. From time of first contact to having my kids back on the road was less than 1 hour and very reasonably priced for a mobile mechanic. Max found that my son's car had a bad coolant temp sensor and was low on coolant. After the exceptional service I went back and read some of his reviews. I found another reviewer that did not approve of how Max runs his business but this dad can sure appreciate a response such as this. Happy to have been able to make contact with a good human! Max is a knowledgeable mechanic with years of experience, his ability to diagnose a mechanical problem is very very good. He's well equipped for most mechanical and electrical repairs. He quickly diagnosed my transmission problem on my 2011 Volkswagen touareg and repaired it in my back yard in 3 hours, car is running great again and I'm happy i found him. Have a Mazda 3 that was draining batteries!! Max took a look at it, diagnosed it and we ordered the alternator needed, he replaced the alt the day it showed up, takes CC with reasonable CC fee banks charge. Car now works great!! While visiting the area, our Nissan van starting making noise. We found Mobile Max online, and had him take a look. Not only was he able to diagnose the problem quickly and accurately, he quoted us a reasonable price for parts and labor on a new air conditioning compressor. And he was able to get us in and out within a few days. Communication with Max was easy via text. He let us know what was going on every step of the way, even sending photos of our old part and the new one. He also checked in with us to make sure everything was working well as we travelled home, and a final check to make sure we got home okay. We only wish he was located where we live! What a great mechanic he is! Max is also a really cool person, and fun to interact with.

Max is the BEST! Very communicative, kind, and reasonable. Someone took my windshield wiper and Max helped guide me where to find the part, and fixed promptly. He noticed my air was low on my tire, and fixed for me, on top of a few other tweaks. I appreciate his knowledge and how he went above and beyond to make sure my Audi is taken care of. I will 100% go to him again.
