This isn’t the first time we have used this Munro location at 4902 Peach Street. And it won’t be the last. I scheduled an oil change online, and they got me in as soon as they could while I waited. They were courteous, prompt, and thorough. I was able to use a coupon I found on their website, and that was just a bonus. Thanks to Russ and the guys for prompt service! I’ll be back!

Great customer service. The main guy there (Less) is a great guy and doesn't bullshit you. I had all my brakes and rotors done there and I thought I heard a grinding noise from my new brakes, so I called Less and he took me right in and made sure that everything was working correctly. Even took me in the garage to show me everything and how it worked. The grinding ended up being a different problem, but as far as the job they did it was great!

I have been following Les around since he was working at Firestone because he always does great by his customers. Unfortunately he is no longer working as the manager for Monroe but his replacement Matt has been awesome in his place. He took the time out of his busy schedule to call me back to explain I needed two new tires instead of wasting money on another alignment. I really appreciate the honesty and will continue to use Monroe on peach street! Excellent service from a well experienced manager.

I waited until the last minute to get my car inspection done. Monroe’s staff went above and beyond to help us out. All employees I came into contact with were extremely professional and the explained to me what I would need for my car to pass inspection. They had my car fixed and finished before the end of their work day. I would definitely recommend to anyone that would need anything fixed on their vehicles, in fact, I already have

Even before I went, the service was friendly and comfortable over the phone. It was WAY cheaper then other places for my oil change ( only $24.00!) Super friendly, genuine, and quick!! Go here for your work, you will leave in a great mood with quality work done!! :) Ask for the manager Les if you have questions or want a nice conversation, he is such a wonderful person!

The guys here are great. They do a great job fixing or maintaining your car and are very helpful. I was told by my dealership that I needed my breaks and rotors changed. I brought it to Munro since they are cheaper. They took a look and told me that I didn't need to change my breaks and rotors for another 6-9 months and that my dealership was trying to cheat me. I love that they didn't just change the brakes but were honest with me and tried to save me the money.

This is the place to go in Erie if you are looking for quality work, professionalism, and a good price! This morning I started my 2007 CRV and heard an awful grinding sound. I drove to work but at lunch time it happened again and seemed to be getting worse. I had arranged an appointment at 1:30pm but ended up driving to the shop around 12:30 because I was so worried. Immediately upon pulling into the driveway, Andy (mechanic) walked over to me and commented on the sound. He ran inside to grab a stethoscope to identify where the sound was coming from and within about 10 minutes had successfully diagnosed the issue. Turned out that my AC compressor had seized up and was shooting sparks and metal all over the place. The AC has been broken for 2 years and I don't mind. So instead of trying to replace the entire system to the order to over a 1000$, Andy was able to bypass the AC compressor by using a smaller belt. Wayne (manager) provided me with quotes for all the work and was very pleasant to work with. Job turned out to be less than 200$ and I drove away in about 1.5 hours. I am so impressed and truly recommend this place to everybody. Keep up the awesome work and today you secured a life-long customer. Thanks again!

I’m glad I stopped here. I had work done to my performance car. I had them replace my front front struts and springs, rear shocks and some issues came up but that happens with just about any big job. It’s the way that they go about it that matters to me. I’m very impressed. Took responsibility and owned it and everything worked out. That’s huge with me. Ryan is a great manager. Very personable. He knows his stuff. He goes above and beyond to ensure you’re happy and taken care of with the work and service. This is the only place I’ll go from now on when it comes to non dealership items. Everyone should take there car here. These guys you can trust.

Top notch service and work. I tend to hate taking my vehicles anywhere to have them worked on and usually do the work myself. We had to get 4 new tires, a possible wheel alignment, and an inspection. My wife had priced a cheaper set of tires for her vehicle and the technician told me straight up that he would not recommend these tires even though they were a good tire. No pressure at all to buy a higher priced tire. Truthful and straight forward. Price came in under what we had priced elsewhere. Could have easily charged me for an alignment but said the alignment was fine after they checked it. Did the inspection and vehicle passed with no problems and no "extra work" by them. I would highly recommend them for any work you have. Up front and no BS. Have been taking my vehicles here for a couple of years for inspections even though there are two other Monro's closer to my home. Thank you.

I took my car in for a state inspection, and ended up needing work done on it before it could pass. Les and the guys went above and beyond what any other car shop would do! My muffler needed replaced and, while they were taking the old one off, part of the exhaust system fell on top of them! It was rusted and needed fixed as well. They had to make a new piece to fit on the end before reattaching it to the car. This took a good deal of time and work on their part-- and they didn't charge me for it! I was shocked that a car shop would be so generous! The whole time I waited, Les would come out and let me know what they were fixing and why it was taking as long as it was. He was very pleasant to talk to, unlike some other guys at different car shops. And the rest of the guys there are hard working and knowledgeable-- the kind of thing one would expect in the mechanics working on your vehicle. The prices are also very reasonable! All in all, I highly recommend Monro Muffler Brake on Peach!

Took my car to these guys to get it inspected and they told me I needed to replace all my slide pins bc they were sticking and causing ruts on my rotors and that I would need new rotors in less than a month. They told me my struts were leaking and it needed an alignment. First off an alignment has absolutely nothing to do with an inspection and second, I told them I had just changed my brakes, rotors and got new slide pins about 5 days prior and the rotors were not being dug into and my brakes were still in the bedding process and not to touch anything else on my car. When they originally told me about these issues they said it was gonna cost $1,200 for the inspection!! 😂 after I told them no and I’m taking it somewhere else they erased the write up of everything that was “wrong” with my car. I eventually took it to another shop that charged me $40 and said there’s absolutely nothing wrong with my car…do not get scammed by these guys. Absolutely ridiculous!

Car was inspected and the service technician fully explained and showed what was needed, with the quotation for pricing given accurately The pricing was more than reasonable, and the car is running fine, excellent service. 👍

Don’t use this place, the people working are not qualified . The went for a simple oil change for my 18 year old daughter and paid $200 for oil change plus some upsells only to found out the they drained the transmission fluid and put oil in the where transmission goes. As my girl was leaving 4AM thought that car was driving funny, we got the vehicle towed to the dealership and luckily no harm was done or the transmission would have been gone. They would even refund the $200, and asked us to call Corporate. These kind of places shouldn’t be allowed to do business unless they hire qualified technicians because if I was going to be out of a transmission they would have denied that too. Easy fix is don’t go to this location.

Took my car here to be inspected over the weekend. I got a call that my vehicle failed because my seat would not slide all the way forward. After referring to the Penndot inspection manual the only feature my vehicle could fail for would be failure for the seat to lock. I called them back and told them this and they confirmed this was true. I had to schedule a separate appointment to go to a different monro and get my vehicle reinspected the next day. The only saving grace was the guy at the front desk who was very kind. Will never take my vehicle here again as they have no idea what they are doing. Thank you to the 26th street monro, those guys were great.

What a horrific experience! I got my car inspected and was told i had a hole in the muffler and had to have that fixed to pass at a custom muffler shop. I said no problem. Got that done. I went back to get inspected 5 days later. Had no issues whatsoever. Then i drop it off for inspection again and they tried to charge me almost 1200 dollars for a broken driveshaft, broken windshield fluid sprayer and an allighnment wich was all good before it went in. This is scummy behavior to the max. What atrocious business practice. Its hard enough to get by in todays economy without businesses like this taking advantage. If u need something done please don't take ur vehicle here. You may end up regretting it!

My windshield wiper was not working. The staff was so friendly and polite. I was on the road and it was snowing so they saved me. They took care of the windshield wiper in a timely manner even though they were pretty busy. Thanks for a great service

They were courteous and made a special effort to get the car back on the road. I only took one star off because I'm hoping they weren't disingenuous about tires not repairable or that the car needed brakes and rotors. No one offended the evidence.

Went 2 hours before close. Needed a patch for a tire. After waiting an hour and 40 min... So 20 minutes before close, they put a plug in, gave it back still leaking and said they don't do patches. Told is to go across town to their other location. We fly to the other location that closes at the same time. We get there, they are already closed. When we called, the manager, he said they closed early, the tech went home early and he went to the bank. Horrible service and experience.

Went to this location to check out a clunking problem in the left front. Monro checked out the car and said that both sway bar links needed replaced, quoted me $632 to replace those. I went home to see what the problem was for myself and noticed the left front caliper pin bolt was missing and the other one was stripped and loose. I put two new pin bolts in and the clunking was gone. Checked the sway bar links out and there was no play in them and absolutely nothing wrong with them. Not to mention that on the CarFax, they misreported my mileage as being 54,781 miles. My car had more than 187,000 miles when I brought it in. They lied on the report that a recommended maintenance was performed.
