I am writing my first Google Review in 32 years on this planet to let you know to STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Called to inquire about getting my car inspected yesterday; had a conversation with someone who was quite frankly nasty on the phone. Didn't wan't to answer questions, didn't give me a chance to speak - just kept talking over me. Called today before going to check how busy they were before going - same guy, same nasty attitude. I arrive there today, I'm greeted buy the same guy on the phone who was apparently inconvenienced by me trying to enter the front door he was leaning on. From there, same bad attitude...seemed like the type of person who just likes being bad to people. Gave my license back to me because they "don't care who I am". Didn't even get my car inpected by them because they told me I didn't have the "insurance sticker" on my license plate which the RMV apparently didn't give me. After a minute of research online I found they meant a registration sticker I was supposed to get. He didn't even want to do the inspection in the first place because I didn't have my new license plates screwed on yet. After asking him to "help me out" he reluctantly almost proceeded before finding the next reason not to do it - my "insurance sticker". Would hate to inconvenience him with the 1 minute of screw driving my plates on, especially when paying them for a service. The only reason I went is because of how close they are to work. When I do get the inspection, it will be elsewhere.

Let me start off by saying this: INFORM YOUR CUSTOMERS OF PRICING TO AVOID ANY MISUNDERSTANDINGS! I go to this place for the first time after my mother had recommended it because she got an oil change for under $35.00. The guy who's going to do the oil change asks me which oil I get "regular or synthetic" I said I wasn't sure and that I usually go to Toyota to get my oil change regularly and he said "then it has to be synthetic because it's a 2010 vehicle". He never discussed pricing with me. Once he's done some other guy tells me the total is $70.00 which surprised the hell out of me because they never mentioned how much it was prior, otherwise I would've walked out and went back to Toyota. Prior to paying I called Toyota to confirm that I get synthetic oil changes and indeed I did, for $53.00. The guy with a beard not sure if he was the owner was a smart ass implying Toyota were giving discounts or promotions and that he's not Toyota, quite rude if you're an owner. I am never going back to this place again, always tell your customers how much the service is to avoid surprises or have a sign that displays the price as any other regular gas station would. I literary paid an additional $20 to this hole in the wall shop when I could've saved myself that for the same type of oil.

They fixed my brake line, and oil change and patched a few leaks on my exhaust. I couldn't be happier with the work and the price was unbeatable in my opinion! Great place!

I came in to do an oil change. At first I was told that it will be half an hour wait. Then the mechanic or owner said it will be an hour before the car will be seen, and then another half an hour to do the oil change. I left the car there, and they told me they will call me once its ready. About one hour and foruty minutes later I called in to see if the car was ready. I was rudely informed that they HAVE told me that it will be one hour wait, and another half hour for the work. When I told them it has been one hour and fourty minutes - they acted surprised as if they did not know that time can pass by... When I came in to pick up the car they did not work on at all - I have seen a new line of cars being worked on - and my car just parked outside. I wouls recommend you to avoid this place. They have no sense of responsebility, and honestly - reading the other reviews here - I doubt it is a good place.

Broke down right at their shop, but on the weekend. Left a note and keys and they started work first thing Monday morning. Found the problem quickly, but parts took an extra day. Kinda wish I lived closer, because they would be a great go to mechanic.

DO NOT TRUST! I pulled up for gas today in an old beater car of my son’s as I had a flat tire on my car. The guy asked what kind of gas I wanted, I said regular. Halfway through pumping, I look & see he’s using Super. So I ask him, what kind of gas are u pumping? And he tries to block my view and LIES TO MY FACE & says Mid (one step up from regular.) and then turns his back to try and block my view again. I knew he was lying & he knew he was lying so he started to chit chat, hows your day etc. (insert eye roll) I had something in the back seat, so I think he thought I couldn’t see what he was doing. When he was done he just handed me my card back. Nothing to sign so I asked for a receipt. “Oh I have to go inside to get that.” I told him fine, I’ll wait. Surprise surprise my receipt clearly shows SUPER. I just rolled my eyes and left. Not worth a fight. Now this is not a big deal, what are we talking $5? It’s the fact if he would LIE about something so stupid. What ELSE would they lie about!? Imagine a car repair or something major? I do not trust them at all!! Super shady & actually quite STUPID. I don’t normally write reviews, but this is just a matter of principle. I will NEVER EVER give them ANY of my business or my family’s & will certainly be telling my neighbors. Can’t be trusted!! You’ve been warned too...

I'm not from Saugus but was attending an event there on Saturday morning. On my way into town, I noticed the dreaded low tire pressure indicator on my car and ducked into the Monument Square Service Station. Unfortunately their air pump was not working properly, but staff came out and assisted me with their air hose (balancing out my four tires and sending me on my way). The technician was super-friendly and helpful and refused to accept any payment. It's nice to see this level of courteousness and kindness - I would go out of my way to give them future business.

I left my car there early, i called late afternoon one day just to check to see how things were going, if there was any updates, and got nothing but attitude. The mechanic sounded annoyed just for asking about how it was going. Not saying they don’t do great work but customer service definitely needs work on or a good receptionist to relay messages. I’ve been to other places and it sucks knowing the communication isn’t good at all. A lot of people I know don’t call to check in on repairs in fear of the mechanic sabotaging the car for calling too many times. I can see why now. The attitude and bad customer service doesn’t ease you while your investment is at a place you trust on a recommendation. Like thank you but please work on this. It’s not our fault your job is frustrating. Customers are what pay you at the end of the day. Get it together. And seeing how reviews are building the economy and helping customers & businesses, I’m here to say, yes this place does the job. Not sure if their ways are right, I’m not a mechanic. But come if you have thick skin and can handle rude. And if you come to get gas be prepared to wait , esp if it’s raining or snowing. FYI. Just finished reading the reviews. And honestly if It wasn’t for the good work i wouldn’t recommend .

Went to Monument for an oil change, got my car back and week later I notice oil on the ground and come to find out my filter was never tightened on the car and could of fallen off. Tried to give them another shot I called during the day to ask if I come down and drop my car off in the next half hour could they do an oil change, they told me yes come down and they will get it done by end of day when the lift is available. I was fine with that but when I got down there after leaving work early Rick gets angry that I'm trying to drop my car off and tells me they can't take my car they are to busy only take drop offs in the morning I said I just spoke to someone who said yes come down and drop it off. He said no they are too busy, there were no cars on the side of building and only one car in the bay. I Do Not Recommend monument for any work done to your car

The owner was super professional and patient! It served me very well, great price, quality and professionalism, you can be sure that this is the place! He is a workshop in a small place only in size, because in knowledge, commitment to the client, transparency in the diagnosis and quick solution, this is the place! highly recommend! I arrived for my vehicle to be repaired, in addition to leaving with it new, in a short period of time I explained that I work daily at night and that was not an obstacle to not answering me or putting up barriers! He repaired the vehicle at the end of the day, assembled it and delivered it to me and the next day when I left work in the morning at the first hour, he resumed the repairs! no one would do that!!!!! Congratulations thank you very much and I am very satisfied

These were no-nosense and str8 to the point. Very friendly business and they care of my vehicle quickly. This is where i would recommend getting the TNC inspection done if you happen by the UBER Greenlight office nearby.

Brought my car for a thumping sound they fixed my rear passenger side wheel bearing it didn’t fix the problem but they said it needed to be fixed( NOT ) and the other side was causing the thumping noise so now that side needed to be fixed .Got my car and went to another garage they said there was nothing wrong with the driver side rear wheel bearing. The thumping sound was caused by my front tire that had a little lump in it. So wasted over 350 on something that didn’t need to be fixed and if I left my car there over another 350 would of been wasted on something that did not need to be fixed not to mention, they have my car for three days I would think twice before I brought my car there just saying
