Stay away, the smog tech Andrew will rip you off. He finds all kind of things to let your car fail the smog check. No free re-test. Bring your car to places that they allow free re-test if the car fail the smog check. Mine is simple fault engine light and OBDII is not ready and they charged me twice for that.

Worst idea to take your car here. They told me it takes a "special tool" to check the issue with my vehicle and refused to tell me what it was. Wanted more money for a diagnostic they couldn't figure out. Additionally had no knowledge on smog extensions, said I need to go to a DMV. Another smog place on T.O. Blvd provided what I needed. Whenever you see mechanics working on personal projects of theirs in the facility, it's easy to see what they want the money for. BUYER BEWARE

Hacks. Don't waste your money! I went there because I had a tube code which means I won't pass smog. The kid told me he'd do a diagnostic for $90 but all he did was put on his scan tool which I had done with mine and even told him the code. When I picked up the car he told me he would replace a couple things and if that didn't do it he would replace some more stuff. He basically said he would replace every component. I know this because I researches the problem but can't fix it because I have a bad back. My brother was a smog technician at this station years ago and would never work like this. If you need a smog repair go to Shellys

I went in to get a smog star test. I got out of my car and was instantly called back from the guy who said your check engine light is on and that it would automatically fail the test. I told him it was not on when I pulled it one minute ago and he instantly went on the defensive.... He said he did nothing to make the light come on.... (really?????) He said he could run a diagnostic and let me know what needed to be fixed to pass smog..... He told me I must use cash only since his credit card machine was not working properly..... I told him I would go to my mechanic or Toyota for them to tell me..... GUESS WHAT.... one day later the check engine light went off.... I took it to TO Smog on TO Blvd, and passed without any problems...... DO NOT USE MOORPARK SMOG & AUTO REPAIR IN THE SHELL STATION AT THE CORNER OF MOORPARK ROAD AND AVENIDA DE LOS ARBOLES IN THOUSAND OAKS, THEY WILL TOTALLY SCAM YOU IF ALLOWED TO!!!!!!!

Lied to me about my smog results, I had a not ready code, which means because they replaced my battery the car needed to be driven to finish it's smog test. Instead of telling me, oh we changed your battery you won't pass smog without driving it a bunch first, they charged me $120 for "diagnostic" and told me they needed $600 more to fix it. These people are criminals.

Ok, so they actually have great service here and nice employees no doubt about it. However, after having paid 360 dollars for changing the rotors on all the wheels, I was told the awful bicycle-sound from my brakes would disappear. After no improvement, I took it back, and they did it all over again without any extra charges. Still, the brakes sounds horrible when I use the,. What's the point with giving great service if you can't fix the problem adequately? I guess it's just another example of how the Auto-Industry will do any kind of job as long as they make a profit...

They gave me such an exceptional service that I replaced my rear and front break pads. I go to this place for 6 years. I recommend all the people that I know that they can trust on this place. The prices are very reasonable and legit. They always such a good take care of my car even though its 11 years old. I absolutely recommend.

Horrible! They overcharged me and totally lied that I needed my brakes replaced. I went in for an oil change which they significantly overcharged me. They then insisted I needed all of my brakes replaced. They first quoted me one price. Then I gave a "what the?" face, he then quoted me half the price. I took my car that same day to an amazing auto break-specific auto shop on TO Blvd who was wonderful and fully honest. He said that my brakes were totally fine and did not need replacing. He actually said my front brakes were brand new! Thank goodness I got a second opinion. I do NOT recommend this shop for anything at all!

I went for a Smog check and I actually needed a star Smog, which that was on my for not noticing, but they didn't says anything to me and still charged me. They additional said I needed several things done on my car which I had just done earlier in the month. They later said my car was actually fine and didn't need those services. Cherry on the top, they charged me 30$ for the cheapest windshield wipers and said they were lowering the price for me as a favor. Overall, the service is dishonest, scammy and activly deceptive.
