At this point I’ve had brakes, tires, alignment, and oil changes done at Motor Medic. I’d give every visit a 5-star. Everything is just easier here than it’s ever been other places. Great communication, and very trustworthy! They do their best to get to you as fast as possible and understand your situation. I’ve also never been “surprised” by any extra charge/expense here which can’t be said about some other spots. Highly recommend!

UPDATE: I talked with the manager and he was very helpful. I had the CV axel replaced in Charleston and the axel Motor Medics claimed to have replaced was not according to two separate mechanics. The broken CV axel was replaced correctly in Charleston for 2/3rds of the price and done correctly at Gerald’s tire. I’m under the impression that Motor Medics just slapped grease on the axel they claimed to have replaced. I would caution anyone from using this establishment. Not sure if I’m an isolated case, but the work that was claimed to be done was not done and the prices quoted for parts was suspect. took our car in to have the CV joints repaired because the car was making a clicking noise while turning. I was charged $1,000 and the car did sound better for a few weeks. It now sounds worse than when it was brought in. I’m under the impression that they just packed grease into the boot. Avoid this place and find an honest establishment that will fix your car correctly. I’m happy to share video with anyone interested.

I have taken both my wife's and my jeep to Motor Medics. The full service oil change was definitely the most affordable we've experienced in actually years. The quick/convenient chain oil and lube shops charge twice as much as Motor Medics and don't do near the quality of work. I could tell as soon as I drove my jeep everything seemed tighter and smoother. Definitely will always bring our vehicles there and would recommend them to family and friends.

First time going to motor medics and i really enjoyed it. The staff is very pleasant and managed to get my vehicle in and out in a couple hours so i could still drive it to work that evening. I could already tell my vehicle was running smoother after they took care of some issues. They do get very busy, so arriving as early as possible is the best option. I will be returning here.

Luke was wonderful! He repaired my son’s front suspension for a fair price and was able to get him safely back on the road with little down time. He took the car in during a busy holiday week and worked it in for us. There were no surprises with the bill and the work was expertly done. We are so grateful, and would recommend them to anyone.

These guys are a joke. I called Jeremy over a week ago. To get an estimate to replace one hard brake line on a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee he never got back to me all week so I eventually ended up Towing my Jeep over there. He comes back to me with a $700 estimate for literally one brake line. I had my jeep towed back home. They wouldn't not release me jeep until I paid them $53 for installing one Clip that requires no tools that I provided. These guys are a bunch of thieves. I literally just pulled the old one off in 5 minutes. This isn't my 1st rodeo. Y'all suck

Do not take your car here for anything other than an oil change. Mike serviced all of our families cars for years with integrity and honesty. The new owners… not so much.. be aware. They placed the wrong size serpentine belt, and did not replace the tensioner that goes with the belt even though it was pointed out many times my car has high mileage.. took it to another shop for repair while Motor Medics offered no kind of refund or to fix the problem

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with this shop. Kept the vehicle for a couple of days and then said they wouldn't work on it. No reason, just that they were a small shop and didn't want to do the work. I went back to Dixie Motors in Thunderbolt and they diagnosed and fixed the problem without incident. Just new coils and plugs.

Made me wait almost 2 hours for just an oil change, and forgot my oil cap. Didn’t realize till the next day on the weekend when they were closed, and had to clean, replace the cap, and buy more oil. What an absolute waste of money. Nice folks at front desk, but absolutely horrible service.

Rob knows exactly what he’s doing!! After being told multple times nothing is wrong with my car by the VW dealership, Rob diagnosed and fixed my car in 1 day AND provided a courtesy vehicle. Will be going to him from now on for all my car needs. 10/10!

Called to ask if they could look at and possibly repair the splash guard on the bottom of my car. They said they would need to run a $169 diagnostic on my car before they could tell me anything. I replied that I thought a diagnostic was for internal problems - this was a visible, outer, minor, almost just cosmetic thing. They said they'd still have to charge me that for the time, and that's what an hour of work costs, they'd have to work up an estimate. I got help and a solution in a matter of minutes elsewhere.

Sadly this is another negative experience with Motor Medics this year. We gave them another chance after a different experience months ago. We are a Coast Guard family, who need and deserve reliable service and reliable vehicles. We had our brakes replaced on our FJ. It was the entire brake system. When it was first picked up, the brakes were clicking. My husband brought it back right away to tell them, and turns out they must not have driven it after replacing the brakes. The E Brake springs were damaged in the replacement process. So that was another $344. I just drove it from the playground here on Wilmington with my 4 year old daughter, and the brakes are now making noise, grinding and thumping while I was stopping. I was terrified driving it after it started, but I made it home safely. They are closed on weekends, so we are back to 1 vehicle on Monday. I have to use AAA to have it towed there, since we are not sure if the vehicle is safe to drive. I can’t believe that such a major job to keep a vehicle safe was not properly done. My husband checked and the caliper is completely loose, and a bolt is missing. He has a video moving it up and down, and bolt he is able to turn with his bare hands. If I could post that I would. I think we are done with this shop. We will ask for our money back and I guess bring it to Toyota dealership where we will have peace of mind that our family vehicle is safe. It’s disappointing for sure.

Let me say, everyone here has been very nice, and I realize it costs money to run a shop, however, when you ask for ONE item to be diagnosed and then receive a long list of “suggested” repairs in addition to the requested ONE item you asked to be looked at and then receive a BIG diagnostic fee for said list, as long as a hefty fee for the ONE requested repair, as well as a shocking amount for the rest of the List. It truly makes you want to look elsewhere for car service. It’s a shame, for us and for them. Dissapointed.

I took my car there for squealing sound. I mentioned I would probably need rear brakes. There are and never were any lights on my dash, but one drive from Robert and the check engine light comes on and he hears no squealing 🙄 so I need a $200 diagnostic test to come up with a $700 fix oh PLUS I needed brakes that is $500. I’m pretty sure a mechanic can look at the brakes and can tell if they need replaced without doing a test drive, me not at all. Not to mention the sound those brakes were making was extremely noisy. There is no way he didn’t hear it. I go to pick my car up and nothing is said to me about my car at all, just a greeting and they took my payment for the brakes and I left. There was no discussion of what was done except for the papers I got. I have no check engine light on nor any other light. The only reason being a woman sucks is when you have to take your car to mechanics that are all men. Will not be going back here. They might have a system but it’s definitely to scam you for more money and make your life harder. Oh, can garages take their messy feet paper out? I don’t want the garbage lol it’s nice you use that but throw it away when you’re done.

I just wanted to thank your team for everything you did for me. Being new to the area, I didn’t know anyone or where to go for help, and you truly made me feel safe, relieved, and confident that I had chosen the right place. Rob and Brandy were wonderful from the very start—answering all my questions, explaining the repairs clearly, and keeping me updated every step of the way. I appreciated being given a clear outline of what was needed and never having any surprises. You kept me informed about the parts, the progress the costs and when my car would be ready. Your professionalism and kindness meant a lot. I truly appreciate the support and care you showed while fixing my vehicle. Thank you for making a difficult situation so much easier. Getting into my car now, I feel safe and secure, and I truly believe I was led to the perfect place to take care of me and my vehicle.”

Stopped in because my brake lights were out. They quickly diagnosed the problem, had the parts in stock and were able to complete the job within an hour. I was give the price up front and asked if I wanted to have them do the service. The price was a little higher than what I expected but it was a drop in service request and I was able to have the brake lights fixed within an hour. Everyone was kind and courteous. I would use them again - Brian the mechanic is knowledgeable and easy to speak with!
