I happened into this mechanic by chance when my truck lost power steering in the parking lot of the business next to theirs..and how truly lucky we were to have found our new mechanic for life! They worked with our extended warranty company and helped us get our truck back in record time so we could still go on our camping trip a week and a half later! They even provided myself and my two kids a complementary ride home in their shuttle van after leaving our truck with them so my husband wouldn't have to leave work. Just incredible service and workmanship. Tyler in the front office was very knowledgeable and kept us updated frequently. Recommend to anyone looking for a mechanic!

From the first contact Motoring Services was exceptional. They fit my car in right away, which was good since we were leaving on a long trip that weekend. They did their review and diagnostic tests and gave us some peace of mind about the engine noises and transmission concerns. Then they even dropped their diagnostic fee by half, even though they kept the car overnight to check it again the next morning. They have earned our future car maintenance! (Not very happy with the dealership in this area, so this is a great find.) Part 2: Oil change, quick to schedule, reminder received, in and out in half an hour!

Great shop. Really friendly service staff. I took my Jeep in with some noise issues I had, and Eddie was able to diagnose and reduce the noise....tho I still hear it while accelerating. Service charge was very fair. One suggestion, they have a request appointment on their website, which I used twice and didn't hear back either time. I'd suggest just going in and talking to them in person.

Was charged 4k for a diagnosis. According them it was the timing belt. Car still didn’t work because it turned out to be the motor. Battery was also swapped for one that was half the size. Was given a quote for 7K (10k depending on motor) on top of the 4k for the rest of the work. Found a different mechanic that did the work for 2k, and had it running in two days.

Anyone looking for a good car repair shop should go to Motoring Services. They explain every recommendation for repair, they stay in constant contact, they offer free shuttle service and their prices are very fair. I had no problem getting an appointment and they have online scheduling on their website. Their customer service is excellent-they're polite friendly and experienced mechanics. Definitely try them the next time your car needs winterized or repaired. I highly recommend them.

Louise the mechanic was very thorough and although the diagnosis fee is spendy, you get more than your money's worth. More than just diagnose the problem but thoroughly go through your vehicle and note any and all issues that honestly need addressing . (No scam) patiently explained the issue and answered all my questions. Friendly front desk and staff all around. Got my repair done earlier than expected and they found extra coupon to help with the price. Definitely my new mechanic.

My check engine light popped on and the dealership couldn't even get me in to check the codes so I knew if my car was safe to drive. MSAR was able to get me an appointment Monday morning and called me throughout the process. I was back in my fixed car the following afternoon. Great staff. I had a great experience here. When I called I spoke with David, he was very knowledgeable and patient in explaining everything. He took extra time to understand what was going on with the car, listening and asking appropriate questions to help fully diagnosis the car. I got regular updates on the status and was informed prior to every step. Making sure I understood what was needed, and why. They were competitively priced. The main thing that sticks out to me is how friendly and knowledgeable David was, it gave me peace of mind through the whole process, and even when he was explaining what might of been bad news about the car, he was professional and honest, yet had a caring and concerned demeanor.

Went in with a new used car from McC***** Mazda. Turns out after 5000 miles my lugs loosened up. I have a hard time believing who sold me the car screwed up putting the tires on so I didn't pursue that. I went to Motoring Services at Gage and Steptoe and they tightened the lug nuts and found my AC drain plugged next time. Both times repaired my CX-9 quickly and handled it professionally. I strongly recommend them to anyone in the Tri Cities.
