I have been taking my 2007 BMW X3 to Mike and his team at MP Motorwerks for over 2 years now. They have always provided excellent service and taken car of any issues my car was having. The quality of their work is excellent, their prices are reasonable, and they are honest. I highly recommend them for your car care needs, great people!

Mp motorwerks rocks! Very professional, knowledgeable, high quality work, and high value. I have used them exclusively to repair my 2017 BMW X5 to replace engine mounts, tie rods, wheel alignment and oil change. They are open to alternative customer part preferences. Certainly more reasonable than BMW Dealers. I even drive from Gaston County for service at MP Motorwerks. My only recommendation for owners to beef up waiting area accommodations. Fresh coffee and tea would be nice. Employees seem like they enjoy working there!!

Mike and the crew are great - they've handled everything that an aging MB GL450 throws at you - transfer case, airmatic struts, turbo coolant lines, camshaft position sensors, - all the work was done perfectly and at a fair price. This time it was motor mounts and again Mike diagnosed it right away and replaced them quickly. Can't recommend them enough!

Mike and team were quick to get me into their shop but it became apparent they do not know much about the VW 2.0L turbo engine. They charged me 4 hours labor for a camshaft position sensor replacement that takes at most, 30 minutes to install. And even though I challenged them on it, they stuck to their story. In the end, they were unable to diagnose my problem correctly and thus were not able to fix it... this is after spending over $2300 with them...

Developed a valve cover leak on our X5 BMW over the weekend. Called Motorwerks first thing Monday to see when they could look at it. Asked me to bring it in, which I did… They worked on it immediately and I got me the car back Monday afternoon! Great service, expiediant and at a fair price. Very competent and nice guys to work with. Thanks!

Experience, that’s exactly what it was. An experience! I contacted MP on Thursday with a need to have my ML 350 diagnosed. They gave me a rough appointment time to bring my SUV in at 9:30am that Friday. I arrived, was professionally greeted at the counter, information taken. Inside of an hour of arriving, the tech came out to take my car into the bay. Within the hour, they came to get me and show me what they’d found the issue to be. Here’s where the experience turn into Greatness. My check engine light was on and my car was jerky and vibrating at stop lights. Idle low and seems like it was stalling. Instead of finding it to be a major issue, their tech did their diagnosis and found the issue to be a bad fuse. Replaced the fuse to the oxygen sensor, and the car was restored to normal. They could have exaggerated the issue, but instead they did the right thing and addressed the real problem ONLY! I was am. And only charged me for the 1hour of labor and the fuse. I was impressed. Completely. I highly recognize MP Motorwerks and will only take my cars to them from here out. They earned my trust and confidence

We are very happy with the service we received from MP Motorwerks. We took our Audi Q5 for several different issues: steering, timing belt, new tires, etc. Michael described the work and the charges perfectly, and they kept us info about how the work was proceeding. Now the car drives and performs better than it ever has. I only wish I’d found these expert technicians earlier, because I think I threw away a lot of money going to the dealership. I think MP Motorwerks might be the best garage in Charlotte for European cars. We’ll always take our cars here from now on. Thanks Michael & Jay!

These guys were very fair in their pricing to replace the brake pads on my girlfriend's car (2017 infiniti SUV). The guy that answers the phone and interacts with customers in the shop was kind and patient in dealing with her and the price I was charged was far less than other area shops had quoted in their attempt to rip her off. They were recommended by Change Driven Charlotte (antique porsche dealer) and Brian didn't steer us wrong.

This is the most honest and transparent workshop out there. Their diagnostics is accurate, work ethics are top notch and they will not suggest you the unnecessary repairs. I serviced my BMW here plenty of times and they always diagnosed the problem and solved the issues in no time. They have always been very transparent regarding the things needed to be done. Definitely recommended.

3.5 stars I called a day in advance to see if they could replace a battery in my BMW X2, even if I brought my own (new) battery. Yes. Took the car in for service and they told me the battery I purchased which was supposed to be OEM for my car wasn't the right one. No problem. They asked for 30 extra minutes to go get another battery. No problem. After 3.5 hours of waiting, I was finally able to get my car. In the end, I spent $200 more than when I walked in. I also spent more time and only saved $5 over going to my trusted service tech at the dealer. And, based on another estimate, I spent about $100 more than another reputable shop I had originally quoted. A battery should not cost almost $500 for parts and labor. I will chalk this up to giving the small business my business. I would go back with any warranty issue on the battery. I'd only consider other repairs IF I knew from the dealer what needed to be done and the estimated cost. The guys were professional in their work and handling my vehicle. My recommendation for them would be to tell the customer which OEM battery they recommend or to simply say that they don't install batteries from outside their shop to avoid any mismatch or delays.

This place rocks: honest, efficient, and easy to work with. I called in for a drivetrain malfunction and they fit me in two days later. I was in my car the same day I dropped it off and it's running perfectly. These guys know what they're doing and their reputation is well deserved. There's no better place in Charlotte for import service.

Had an awesome experience with J at MP Motorwerks. He went above and beyond fixing my car—super professional, honest, and just a really nice guy overall. You can tell he cares about doing a great job and making sure you’re taken care of. Everything was explained clearly, no pressure, no upselling—just solid, reliable work. My car runs great now, and I’ll definitely be going back if I ever need anything else. Can’t recommend J and his shop enough!!

This place is great, brought a car (Mercedes) in because I was having issues getting the tie rod off to replace a bushing on the trust arm, they made all repairs, realigned the car and were open about the pricing and willing to use my OE parts. Will go back here for additional work in the future!!! I recommend to others as they do great work.

These guys are great. They diagnosed my issue in 5 minutes and had a major issue with my motor sorted out the same day. Their prices were more than fair. The shop and waiting area is clean and orderly. This is our new shop.

God willing you'll be as lucky as me! Traveling on a 9-hr interstate trip, the adaptive suspension warning in my Audi caused me to stop. Gemini AI said the repair was mandatory and could cost from a few hundred $$$ to several $1,000 per corner. Jake at MP ran a full diagnostic and found it was just a sensor he could reset. Would have been easy to convince me of anything. Very honest. Clean shop. Glad I wandered there.

Went here to get a carbon fiber grill replacement for my BMW M8. Service was excellent, honest, priced right, and on time. They even helped me with a clear coat suggestion and got it done for me at the body shop next door. Above and beyond. Earned more of my business. About to make an appointment there again to swap out my air filters and turbo inlets for high performance versions. Highly recommend.
