If you ever need tire assistance, go to Woodie’s! I’m a single woman traveling alone and my two left tires split due to a pothole in the road. Got tires on a Sunday afternoon and the next day took it to Woodie’s to be sure it was safe to drive back home. Long story short, the manager, Stewart and the mechanics were most professional and knowledgeable about how to deal with my tire issues. I was really taken care of there and no price gouging. I would definitely visit again if I’m in the area and needed help. I felt like family

Great service - looks like I found my new mechanics. Noticed my AC wasn’t cooling the car very well, took it to Hendrick Honda on South Blvd, and they claimed I needed to replace a $1000 valve. I decided to get a 2nd opinion at Woodies. Woodies diagnosed it, recharged the Freon, and added red dye in case there’s a slow leak - and if there is I can bring it back within 60 days and they’ll fix it - all for around $300. The AC is blowing nice cold air again, thanks Woodies!!

Was expecting an average tire patching and oil change experience. Was incredibly pleased when they texted me a full report showing the damage and all general maintenance items like tread depth and the oil dipstick. Timely repair as well and the office wasn't dirty and smelly like most auto repair shops.

Second time I’ve brought my car in for an inspection. Getting in was easy, everyone was polite and friendly. My coworker had a bolt in her tire and discovered it when she parked her car and came into work. Another Woodie’s location was about a mile away. We needed her to stay at work so they met her at the front of the hospital and picked her car up for her to take it for repair. She was really distressed about it until she talked to someone at Woodie’s. They put her at ease and made repairing her tire painless. Thank you all for being there for the community!

First time going to Woodie's to service my car and couldn't be more pleased. Super easy to schedule the appointment, Daniel was great, called with estimate, and delivered the car right on time. Great job by the whole team!

I love taking my car here. They always get me in right away, I trust they’re recommendations and they don’t try and push services on me that I don’t need right away. They’re always friendly and pleasant to interact with as well.

So I randomly need saw the coolant light flashing on my dash I happen to live across the street from the shop and I called to see if I could buy some coolant. The gentleman on the phone told me to come by. I was met with a nice guy named Stewart and he got me going. They typically don’t even do this so just happen to be lucky on a Friday to meet some good guys, thanks fellas.

I had been going to this location for the last few years, but that stops now. I scheduled an appointment and asked their team to take a look at my car battery. Their employee, Daniel, called me and claimed there was nothing wrong with the battery, but there was an issue with the alternator. While asking follow up questions, Daniel proceeded to tell me in a condescending and rude manner that if I didn’t trust them, why would I want them to handle my car battery and hung up on me. Imagine doing your due diligence as a car owner by asking questions and trying to understand the issues going on with your car and an egotistical, abrasive and disrespectful employee hangs up on you. When I picked up my car, Daniel refused to apologize to me. Yeah, they’ll never see business from me ever again and I will tell everyone I know to avoid this place. I ended up taking the car to other mechanics and no one could find the same issues Daniel mentioned. And to make matters worse, they refuse to give or send me any information about what they found when reviewing the alternator. It definitely feels like Daniel was trying to scam me into making unnecessary repairs and when I started asking too many questions, ego took over and courtesy went out the window. There’s no excuse for treating someone like that. They truly lost a good customer.

Went for a simple diagnostic for brakes and rotors and was misinformed as well as overcharged. The diagnostic cost me more than buying the brake pads myself and having someone else install them. I’ve been here multiple times and they were great but this was the last time I’d take any of my vehicles there.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Jeff at Woodie’s. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to help me through a really tough situation that was caused by a dealership issue. Jeff took the time to guide me through every step, explained things clearly, and made sure I understood all my options. He genuinely cared about helping me, not just getting the job done. It’s rare to find that kind of honesty and effort these days. I’m so grateful for the support I received — truly an excellent experience all around! I wont take my truck anywhere else!

I want to start out this review by saying that Woodies in Uptown is the GOAT! I took my neglected Mercedes aka Pretty Girl to them for some much needed TLC and they were so helpful. They serviced the car 🚗 made several recommendations and once I picked her up she ran awesome. From the counter through the maintenance bays the experience was AWESOME. Thanks

Not horrible, not great. Made a reservation for 4:45 on a Friday to check my alignment and replace my windshield wipers so they could check things out and maybe get started on Saturday. Made it to my wife's car and were pulling out. Got waived down and told they wouldn't start till Monday. Alignment taken care of on Monday. Got majority of my way home only to realize they didn't take care of my windshield wipers. Went back Tuesday. Took the guy 20 minutes. Tried to tell me they were secured when they weren't. Alignment was taken care of.

Don't ever go here. They tore out my trunk lining and never put it back, drained my oil without me asking, and aligned my tires when they were only off by 0.1 degrees according to the result sheet they gave me. Craziest part. They never fixed the problem with my car, nor could they identify it. My back right wheel makes a loud grinding noise. How can you not find the problem? This was all in one visit. More stuff happened too but I can't fit it all in one review.

I don’t know what happened to Woodie’s Auto uptown location, but the people who work there now are damaging Woodie’s brand! I come there for an oil change sometime in September of last year, ok? After I get the car back I notice some strange noise underneath. I look under and I see that the plastic tray under the engine is not secured (see the pic), so that thing was dragging causing that noise. Well, that’s some sloppy work I’m thinking, the mechanic didn’t secure the tray properly after they changed oil. I take the car back telling them that they need to do better, and the blame game starts. According to them, it was me who hit something which made the tray come loose. Yeah, right, out of all the parts of the car I hit that EXACT part that you guys touched during the oil change IMMEDIATELY after you touched it. Anyway, they fixed it somehow (I don’t know how, the tray is broken now). I get the car back and a day later, check-the-engine light is on. Could be a coincidence not related to their sloppy work, right? But it’s just too many coincidences! I take the car back and argue with them and listen to their blame game again and yada yada, long story short, they did not fix the check-the-engine light issue (I had to go to a different mechanic). Instead, they pat themselves on the shoulder about a great customer service they provided by fixing the tray problem they themselves caused. Fast forward six months later, I go for an oil change to a different mechanic and he looks at the notes and that’s when I learn that they put the wrong type of engine oil in September. Guys, don’t you know the 2013 Volkswagen Passat needs fully synthetic oil?!

We were from out of town and woke up to a tire issue. This place was close and open on Sat. We just stopped in with no appointment and they were busy when we got there. The guy said he would work us in... he patched the tire at a very reasonable cost and it did not take very long considering we were walk ins on a busy Saturday. They did a great job and it was greatly appreciated!

Great garage if you like being charged $1k every time you take you car in, no matter what you take it in for. I love supporting local businesses, and gave this one at least a dozen chances over the years, but no more. Supporting local businesses shouldn't mean you pay more and get less. Last straw -- took the car in because I was having false codes pop up on ignition. They charged me more than $1k for a new battery and spark plugs ... and I left the lot with the warnings still on and the problem not fixed, without so much as a sorry. The guy asked me to bring it back so they could charge me more! I reached out to discuss the issue and what felt like an overcharge for a problem that wasn't actually fixed, and never heard back form them. Never again. I'll find a garage that doesn't exploit their customer's loyalty by gauging them.

Had a nail in my Tesla tire. Tesla service said I could have an appointment 4 days later. I hobbled into woodie’s that morning, and they fixed my tire in an hour. Great service, fast, and cost efficient!

Another dealership had told me my front brake pads were 85% worn. I went to Woodie's expecting to get the work done. I got a call from Daniel mid-morning to say he'd love to do the work but he didn't find anything. He assured me that the technician took it for a test drive and confirmed there was no urgent work to be done. I've never had a car shop be so honest and transparent. It was a refreshing experience. They have my continued business. 5 stars for Daniel and his warmth.

Outstanding service. I punctured two tires irreparably and limped into their location for help. Stuart was able to locate the tires I needed and the team installed two tires, rotating them with two existing tires, installed a new pressure sensor (the curb collision I had damaged it and the tires) in one wheel and aligned the front end in a matter of hours. They got me back in the road quickly and gave me frequent updates via phone while the work was being done. Stuart was a consummate professional a delivered an incredible client experience. And, every member of the team who interacted with me was respectful and client service oriented. Highly recommend.
