Quick and reliable service on a Saturday! Popped in for some vehicle shaking and they rotated and balanced my tires on the spot. Waiting area had a ton of space and free WiFi. Highly recommend

My right front tire was very low on air. They took the tire off, fund the problem, fixed it and I was on my way in 10-15 minutes. The staff was super helpful, kind and trustworthy. I would recommend them to everyone.

“I had a fantastic experience at Mr. Tire. Phoenix was friendly, professional, and made the whole process easy. The price for my new tires was very reasonable, and they got everything done quicker than I expected. I’ll definitely be returning!”

I’ve used Patton Ave Mr. Tire for tire installation several times over the years. Most recently, I noticed an issue after installation. The manager, Phoenix, was extremely responsive to my concerns. There were challenges in understanding the problem and connection to installation, but he listened. Phoenix did not dismiss my concerns, scheduled a prompt follow up appointment, and addressed what he thought the issue may have been, free of charge. When I felt the issue remained, he listened to my concerns and remained open and willing to further investigate the issue. Ultimately the issue was resolved. Phoenix called me the next day to follow up, and kept an open offer to examine the vehicle free of charge until the issue is fully resolved. The best customer service I’ve ever received, especially related to vehicle maintenance.

(earlier review) I pulled into the tire shop with a hissing tire as I had just run over something sharp. I was back on the road in 30 minutes because the staff were friendly and efficient. Turns out they do way more than just tires and I will likely schedule some routine service for my Subaru soon. The manager was very knowledgeable. (Update) - I went back to this store for 60,000 mile service on my Subaru Crosstrek after the manager assured me that the service was at least comparable to the local Dealership -they missed a bunch of "routine" stuff and as my brakes were squealing with a few days (and I went back / was told I needed MORE service) - I went for a second opinion at the local Dealership and they me showed a video of my "pad-slapped" rotors which now needed to be replaced along with the brake pads (I had just paid for). Many, many hours later I have only received less than half of what this cost me. Phoenix, the store manager has hung up on me and the Customer Service Department has not bothered to return my calls (all after I was assured that the Area manager had approved my refund of $500). I do not recommend Mr. Tire for more than a flat.

Found a nail in my tire. Called at 5:15 and spoke with the manager about pricing. Arrived at 5:35 to get tire plugged, they were able to do it between customers and I was back on the road by 6:00. Also quoted new tires while in the shop and they gave me every option I asked about and didn't try to force me towards a specific brand the way most tire shops do.

I showed up 5 minutes before closing with a flat tire in my trunk and the little donut tire on my car. Phoenix went the extra mile, stayed overtime, to help me out. He measured the tread in my other tires and told me my options. He had a 2 for 1 tire special going on, so he sold me 4 new tires and aligned them late Friday evening. I will definitely use Mr. Tire again! Thank you Phoenix!

Made an appointment for same day service to replace and program a tire pressure sensor( which i bought at a cheaper price at autozone). I was quoted 44 dollars when they took my keys. After waiting for over an hour, I checked in for them to tell me my sensor isn't compatible with their computer. They referred me to a different store on tunnel road that tried charging me over double and said they couldn't give me my keys unless I paid. They said they would charge half the labor (full labor is 81.50 according to paper), which should have been no more than 45 dollars. They tried to charge like 97 dollars originally, which makes no sense since its not a big job and I already wasted 2 hours dealing with this. He finally settled for 55 dollars after i made a fuss cuz that's not what I budgeted for or was told. He made it seem like it was alot of work and talked down to me because im a female. I took two years of auto in hs, i wasnt born yesterday. After this crap I will not ever come back to a Mr tire.

This is to the women out there never take your car not only to Mr tire but to any mechanic shop because when they see us as women coming in they take advantage which is what happened in this case took my car in because it was leaking antifreeze Phoenix. The manager said that it was my heater coil core system I let my regular Mechanic look at my car. He did not change the heater coil core system the part alone was $474 and a cabin air filter which was $43 I was never asked if I wanted my old parts back. They just assumed that I wanted them to get rid of my old parts. At least I would have saw with my own eyes what they actually did which was they did not change my heater coil core system what they did is they put 2 new hoses on my car and the hose that goes to the engine they wiped off, but they forgot to wipe off the hole hose but this is truly a lesson learned you go into a shop as a woman they will take advantage of you. I trust my Mechanic with everything in me And he has been working on my car for years so if he told me that I paid $1200 for something that was not done I believe him so again ladies if you go to Mr tire please make sure you go with a man or you will be taking advantage of I will never take my car back there ever again. I will have my car towed to my mechanic before I trust Mr. tire again.

I got a great deal on new tires here but better than that was the service I received. I was in a bind and had to make a trip the next morning and needed tires desperately. When a place is shorthanded and the manager (Phoenix) rolls his sleeves up with a "I got you attitude" to get the job done, that impresses me. I am so glad I walked in there! Thank you Phoenix, I will absolutely be telling everyone and will continue being a customer of Mr. Tire because of your customer service!!!

My entire family brings all their vehicles to this shop!! They use only the best products here and are very honest!! Through the years I have NEVER had any issues and they are just the nicest of people there!! If I was to say anything, I will say they tend to be a bit pricier than some to most of the others! The quality of work and parts I believe are worth it in the end though!! And when you bring vehicle all the time here and it’s expensive they have worked out deals with me, or do something small for no charge, to make me happy and keep me coming back!!

My service was amazing like always. I bought a used car and had it looked over for anything that could be wrong . Everything looked good except the rotors and breaks for the back and in needed tires . I know this to be true because walking in that day I knew my rotors and breaks were definitely not good . These guys always take care of me and my vehicle. Thai is were I go to get a honest answer about my vehicles.. I highly recommend Mr Tire for all your vehicles needs . It’s one stop shop.. with honesty.

I originally went in to get my tires and brakes checked. I had 2 new tires and brakes put on the front. They also replaced a headlight. I did have to return to get the tires balanced due to a shake ( no charge due to warranty)but while there they also replaced another headlight and patched a tire (as a courtesy since I had just been there). All this was done while keeping me updated. The store manager Phoenix doesn’t stop, is polite, and seems to enjoy helping. His crew is polite and hardworking.

I had an emergency tire situation while visiting Asheville on errands. I was greeted warmly by Phoenix, who took care of everything for me. We had to find the right tire and he worked diligently to make the process as easy as possible. He is an outstanding employee! He kept me updated on the timeline for the installation of four new tires. His attention definitely kept the frustration level down for such an unexpected event. I hope he's rewarded through the company. He certainly deserves it! Thank you, Mr. Tire!

Do you love over paying for a service, not getting everything you paid for, getting disrespected for simply asking a question, AND being lied to when you talk to the manager about it? Then this is the place for you! Be sure to ask for Collin by name if you especially love an attitude problem, paired with a complete lack of job knowledge, and are hoping to be charged for things that are listed as complimentary with service. On New Years Day, I called to schedule an oil change and tire rotation. The woman I spoke with informed me that tire rotations are complimentary with an oil change. When I asked an estimation of price, she said it starts at $50 but they will tell me more accurately when I arrive. I arrive at my scheduled appointment to meet Collin, who was obviously unhappy to be there (cant blame him, neither was I). When they check my plate, Im informed its popping up as registered as a different car altogether, to which I reply must be wrong. I later learn they entered it in wrong and didnt bother fixing it or double checking (my paperwork at checkout has a completely different car listed so I guess Collin also doesn't know the difference between 'X' or 'Z'? Okay, no biggie. Next time Im addressed, its for the payment, $120 range, a bit more than Im used to for my civic so I mentioned that I was told it started at $50, and was wondering why they didnt talk to me (again, not a big issue, just a question). The response I get is layered in attitude (and a curse word or two) about "the call center from India doesnt know what theyre talking about". Okay, whatever. Then I ask about the tire rotation, and Collin informs me they didnt do that. Again, I bring up the person I spoke with and what she said". Well, "shes all the way in India, how would she know? You have to pay for a tire rotation". 🙄 yeah, okay, Collin. I go outside to review my itemized receipt which CLEARLY INCLUDES a complimentary tire rotation with service. So back inside I go, to find Collin already on the phone with his manager, Phoenix. (Phoenix, if youre reading this, thanks for trying to deescalate but in the future, dont assume the customer is stupid). Phoenix politely informs me that they only rotate tires when the back tires are worse than the front. Even if that were true, my back tires ARE worse than my front tires because I forgot to rotate them with my last oil change. (For those wondering at home, you should ALWAYS rotate your tires so they wear down evenly). He did offer to check them out the next day, but after I thought about how he doesn't mind blatant lies to cover for his less than awesome staff, I do not feel comfortable returning. HOWEVER, the customer service number was very helpful and restored my faith in the brand (excluding the Patton ave location) and connected me with another location that I can already tell is leaps and bounds ahead in professionalism and they will be providing my complimentary service instead. I look forward to providing that location a positive review when I go there tomorrow.

Excellent service and completed very quickly. Had an issue with a tire today and called them while I was on the road. They completed a new tire install for me in about 15 minutes. Excellent experience with them at a time I really needed help. Phoenix was incredibly helpful and efficient.

Made an appointment online for the next morning. Staff was courteous, no issues with the service. Vehicle required alignment after new steering and suspension components were installed, drives great now. Have used this shop in the past, usually last minute and they've always accommodated if they can.

Saved me when I was stranded: I got a flat driving on 26, no spare, 150 miles from home, and AAA was useless. Somehow I managed to make it to this Mr. Tire location. Collin immediately found a comparable tire for me at a great price. Only issue: I was in a Mercedes and didn't have the lug key for the wheel lock. Zack and I brainstormed solutions for a while but the Tech doesn’t work on Sunday's so we couldn’t do anything. Called every other tire shop in the area, all told me the same thing. John (the tech) miraculously came to the shop that day to work on something unrelated. John and Zack spent about an hour trying almost everything to get the wheel lock off. Ultimately, they determined drilling it out was only option. An hour of slow drilling later, the tie finally came off, they put a new one on in minutes, and didn’t even charge me for the labor of removing a lug. All great dudes, super helpful, and absolutely saved my butt. If you need a tire in Asheville this is the place to go! Just make sure you have a lug key if you have a wheel lock…
