The shop has the best rates around also some of the best quality work in central fl. They do take debit cards. The buisness is first come first serve so be prepared to arrive a few mins before opening but you will be happy you did. special thanks to them for making my acura sound like it drives🤘

I needed a new catalytic converter on my car. They got me right in fixed it up and was very open about pricing and what was needed. A couple days later my check engine light came on and they quickly helped me figure out what was wrong with it. It was a part that had gone bad and they warranteed it and had me out the door in less than 30 minutes. I just dropped in while running errands. I will 100% continue to do business with them whenever my car needs help!

Muffler man was able to help me when I had a bit of an emergency. Pipes coming loose and a faulty AC they got me back on the road pretty quick for the amount of work it took. Maybe to them all they did was their job, but to me it meant a lot. Because of their work I was able to go see my brother again so in the event I need something fixed again, I'll definitely go to them first.

The employees at “Muffler Man” acted like They knew exactly what the issue with my car was THE FIRST day it was in the shop, after being told it was fixed, picked it up and it had a loud rattling noise so I was instructed to bring it back where I was told a “heat shield” was loose. The same day of me picking it up my check engine Light came back on. Next day dropped my car back off at 8 am where I was told “they would try and figure it out”. Finally got a call to pick up my vehicle at 2:30 and was told they did what they could and that if my check engine light came back on “ not to worry about it, and just ignore it”. Needless to say my light came back on the same day. So 600$ later my check engine light is still on on my car now has a horrible vibration when in idle. Also they CUT MY FRONT Catalytic CONVERTER COMPLETELY OUT(they took it/stole it) without telling me and welded a pipe in place of converter! WHICH IS ILLEGAL TO DO IN FLORIDA!!! (See pics) Absolutely do NOT RECOMMEND! Don’t waste your time or money!! They will rob you.

Came here about a week ago and had them replace my stock headers with some long tube headers on my Dodge Challenger and I can say they did a good job. I had Joel doing my headers and was very knowledgeable and was able to nicely tuck them away. Price wise they charged about 300 less then the other places I had called so that was another plus. If I need exhaust work done again I will be going back here.(Wish I had better photos)

My truck is a GMC Sierra 2500 6.0 L gas engine with 203,000 miles. 1st I would like to thank Joel and Mandy who operate the Muffler Man shop here in Ocala for being honest and backing up all the work they performed on the exhaust system. Not all the Muffler repair shops on Pine street are so honest from my experience. Muffler Man just completely replaced from catalytic converters to tail pipes and did an awesome job. This time they installed a X pipe which solved a problem I had ever since getting duel exhaust installed by another muffler shop down the street. Problem was low voltage downstream o2 sensor on the right side. I have documentation as I have had a OBD Blue Driver on the truck for 3 yrs now. 2 things. Don’t go anywhere else in Ocala for any exhaust work (they also replace leaking exhaust manifold gaskets which other shops don’t). You can take somewhere else first but from my experience you will be bringing it Muffler Man eventually to get it fixed right.

FIVE months ago I had my truck towed to get the timing issue fixed. Told Joel no less than 6 times I had changed out the timing chain and gears yet every time I actually got ahold of him , which was extremely difficult and despite leaving voicemail messages galore, he had amnesia and denied being told numerous times. Truck went to his shop with a brand new battery and it is DEAD. Left the windows open despite the rain storms so now I have mold in the seats and carpet that was New. I had to buy another vehicle while waiting for him to diagnose at the bare minimum. Five months of insurance for a vehicle in his shop. When I talked to him in person I told him I was renting a U-Haul trailer and everyone knows that U-Haul never had winches. When I talked to him about picking up the truck he said he would have his guys help load it on the trailer. When I showed up to get it he played dumb and said he meant he'd push it out of the fence for the tow truck. Knowing full well I told him I was trailering and was using the trailer without a winch. I got there after I drove 45 minutes with the trailer to hear him lie to my face and then having to drive another 45 minutes back home to borrow the neighbors come along, and then another 45 minutes back to the shop. After I drove the 1.5 hours then he decided to try to make it seem like he was going to help. Gave me a crazy look when I told him I was going to use the tools I just drove home for. He could have just done that when I got there the first time. Before the drama and lies with the tow issues I was thinking about throwing him some business and getting 2 mufflers and 2 tailpipes for the truck I had to buy in order to get to the VA for my appointments and he quoted me almost $700!!! When I scoffed because the last shop I got true dual cat back exhaust with tips for $275 he was so bewildered. NEVER waste your time and money with this person. Dishonest and I'm going to say for me, I feel he's disrespectful and untrustworthy and that is two huge No-no's in business.

If I could give them 100 stars I would I went to another muffler shop. They denied to work on my vehicle and was blatantly disrespectful so I went down to muffler man right before closing. They immediately got me in started working on my car gave me a price. Let me leave to go get the money come back and I still paid them. They did a really good job on the work really good people to talk to you as well. Highly recommend muffler man if you need any other additional services as well recommend muffler man do not go to any other muffler shop in Ocala.
