I’ve serviced 3 different cars at Munich in the past, always professional service & confident they do the job right every time. On the pricier side compared to some independent shops, but it’s well worth the billed extra labor cost.

I couldn’t recommend an establishment more than I could recommend this place. I had a terrible start to my day when my Cayenne decided to get sick on me, and last minute Joseph at Munich took me in and got my car back up and running quickly and efficiently. A lot of establishments will really try to upsell you and I was in no position to spend a pretty penny on my car at this time and he understood and took that into consideration with every step. I felt seen and respected and have never had such a positive experience come from something that started pretty crappy. I live 3 hours away and I plan on making the commute for all my future repairs and preventative measures. Thank you so much to Joseph, Darby and the team at Munich for all you did for me! You’ve got a customer for life :,)

I brought in a new to me Macan to look at the suspension. Colin took 30 minutes out of his day to test drive the car with me. We had discussed $3,000 to $7,000 suspension mods on the phone, but his subsequent recommendation was simply to replace the OEM tires. I appreciate the honesty instead of going right for the big ticket job. If I decide to do more, I will definitely visit this shop again.

I recommend Munich to anyone who owns a vintage car. Not only are the mechanics very knowledge, they also take great care of every car and customer that comes in. I am new to old cars and I love that they are always happy to explain and educate me on the repairs. The owner Darby has a ton of experience to share and will go the extra mile to find parts or solutions. This is a welcoming shop that does a solid job every time. Check them out! 10/10

Joseph, Scott, Darby and even Colin are my go to team for my 2005 E46 M3. They have the answers, the resources and the technicians to take care of the finest German machinery, from vintage to contemporary. No job is too small, no rebuild too big. No mess, no fuss, no drama.

I don’t know if they are good mechanics. I don’t know if they have reasonable prices. I never took my car to them because of how rude the person that answered the phone was. I called on 9-8-25 and after letting the guy know that I was having a problem with the front Cv axels on my car and wanted them replaced I asked approximately how long it would take. His answer was “ Cv axels don’t grow on trees so it will be a few days. “ very unnecessary. I took my car to Pacific Motorsports and highly recommend that shop. A great BMW shop.

My last experience here was pretty bad. I don't care for it when a business acts like they are doing you a big favor by taking your business. If you want to deal with professionals, go to Pacific Motorsport.

What an incredible shop. Blown away by their level of knowledge and expertise paired with excellent customer service. This will be the shop in PDX where I exclusively service my E21. Looking forward to the journey. ✌️

This shop was highly recommended to me through my classic car mechanic. He said, "if you want the very best in BMW servicing, then you need to go to Munich Motorworks." I did exactly that, as I always follow his advice on all things automotive. They corrected what the other shops could not and trust me when I say other shops because I've used them. They isolated a nagging whistle sound that the other shops couldn't. The problem parts were replaced with new ones and now my 2001 BMW 330CI operates with no funky whistle. The best part with this experience is that I only needed to take it to them once to correct the issue, instead of several trips with zero results like at the other shops. I now have my ear-to-ear grin back while I'm driving my beemer. Thank you Joseph, Darby, and the mechanics, at Munich Motorworks. you're the best. Cheers, John Siri

Joseph, Colin and Darby are awesome. Took my 2004 525i in a while ago because the left rear window was malfunctioning, they diagnosed it and turned out it was a relatively simple fix which saved me quite a bit of money. Just recently I took it in for a total clutch replacement and they did a fantastic job. I highly recommend Munich.

These are the guys to trust. Reasonable prices, reliable and professional work. Plus these guys communicate thoroughly everything they are going to do before they do it. I leave my car with them worry free and I drive my Volkswagen out in the best mood with a smile on my face. 🤝 😊

Brought my 1973 BMW 2002 in to Munich Motorworks a few times. First time was for a consult on the doors. Second time was due to car not getting out of 1st gear without stalling; had to tow it that time. Had them take care of a minor engine wiring issue causing stalling. Then they got my passenger door to a temporary functional level while they tracked down parts to complete a full repair. Passenger side door was rusted shut, frozen, they got it opened. I brought it in a third time they fixed and/or replaced the window regulators that were problematic as well as the window gaskets. They repaired, replaced, and removed the rust on the door and door latch mechanism for my passenger side door. They did other work like installing door check straps. Their pricing is absolutely beyond reasonable for work on a classic car. They did excellent work and kept me informed on the progress (mainly waiting on parts). I'll be going back to Munich Motorworks for any future issues, which I'm sure will arise with a 49 year old car. I can't recommend them enough. Ask for Darby or Joseph. Joseph was great in offering advice and insight on helping me determine next steps in my classic car's restoration process. Really amazing crew working at Munich Motorworks.

We had such a good experience here. We took a 2015 Mini Cooper S in here for an inspection recently and I walked away feeling very comfortable with their assessment. The inspection was so thorough they even found a coin that was trapped inside the arm rest (I had discovered this myself prior to the inspection so I know it is true). They were also very timely both in scheduling and getting the work done. Coming from my recent experiences with other shops—waiting for days with no communication, I was absolutely thrilled. The whole staff was so polite and understanding, we will drive all the way up here from Salem from now on to have any work done on our Mini. Thank you guys so much, and I highly recommend this shop.

I'm not going back! Brought my Mini to these guys because they were closer to me than the Dealership and since they worked on BMWs I thought they would do a good job on my car. They did several repairs on my Mini and each time I felt less trusting of their work. Finally three years ago they replaced a leaking water pump...a year later it was leaking again and they had to replace that one (still under warranty) and now two years later the water pump is leaking again. I shouldn't have to replace the water pump three times in three years if the mechanic does a proper job. This time though I'm going back to the dealership because I never had these kind of problems with them. They might be more expensive but they do good, reliable work and they use high quality factory parts unlike these guys. In fact Munich Motorworks wasn't that much cheaper than the dealership! I'm not going back!!!

Joseph, Darby, and the rest of the team at Munich Motorworks are stellar performers. I purchased a 1984 BMW E30 from Joseph back in August and it has never let me down since I bought it, and when it was time to replace the suspension and windshield, Joseph provided a great value for the labor and the car still looks and runs great. Whenever I hear an odd sound (40 year old car) or come across something that might worry me, the team at Munich Motorworks is always there to have my back if I need to bring it in for peace of mind. I don’t think I’ve ever reached out to Darby or Joseph and haven’t heard back the same day. In addition to the BMW, I’ve had Munich Motorworks do regular maintenance work on my 2016 Volkswagen GTI, and also had them throw an aftermarket exhaust on it. Again, fair pricing, easy scheduling, and clear communication. All things I appreciate from a mechanic. If you’re looking for somewhere to take your German car, it’ll be in good hands at Munich Motorworks.

These guys are always super nice, they respond to my inquiries quickly and send over quotes super fast. I don’t know anything about cars I just know I’m supposed to get services done and they don’t make me feel stupid and they don’t oversell anything. They’re my go-to for all my big maintenance. I also bring my dog into the waiting room while I’m checking in and out and the guys are really welcoming to him 💕

This shop has taken care of me through multiple vehicles. The customer care is outstanding. I’ve never been to a mechanic that genuinely only performs work that is needed. The honesty and integrity have been the reason I wouldn’t take my vehicle anywhere else. I’m treated with kid gloves and always respected. I feel like every line item is not only explained thoroughly, but approval is still requested prior to initiating work, even though I’ve been going to Munich Motorworks for over a decade. I trust them implicitly. Shout out to Darby, Colin and Joseph for keeping me safely on the road and squeezing me in even during your busiest of days! Would NEVER take my business elsewhere!! Thank you!!! Elizabeth
