Mike is truly the best mechanic I’ve ever been to. I was stranded in a parking lot in Naperville around 7 P.M. (his shop was already closed at this time) I called him just to see if I can tow the car to him... and instead, mike drives over himself to try to resolve the issue. He clearly explained everything to me and understood I was a broke college student. He even drove me home so I wouldn’t pay for an Uber. By the next day, my car was up and running. He took me to NAPA to pay for the parts directly from the store (with his discount) and treated me like family. This whole thing would have costed me thousands of dollars anywhere else, but Mike took care of me like he does with all his customers. Found my mechanic for life! Thank you mike! A true gem in the middle of Naperville!

Mike was just what I needed. In a matter of minutes he was able to tell me why my car was making a strange noise and pull up prices for me. He had me buy the part directly from the store and only charged me for labor. He didn’t force me into getting my problem fixed that same day but said I had more time until it became an actual problem and he didn’t try to get me to buy from him, he knows he has the best prices and if I’m smart at all I will get the job done with mike!

After driving a couple hundred miles my transmission light came on. I ended up going to the Honda dealership where they told me I need a new torque converter ($4200) but I was cleared to drive. Before I did my return trip of 425 miles, I found Mike who dug deep into my transmission issue. (Mind you this was ALL on Xmas Eve). Mike changed the transmission fluid and made a point to look at the car quickly on Xmas morning to make sure it's good to go - which it was. On top of all this, Mike did some digging into the torque converter and an older issue with the high pressure fuel pump and he gave me many pages on the Honda documentation and I am working with Honda to get things fixed on their dime. Bottom line, Mike is the best mechanic I've ever worked with and will recommend him to everyone I know in the Naperville (and beyond) area!

The legend of Mike the mechanic grows... The car whisperer..Mike was better than advertised and went above and beyond the service I expected. Extremley friendly, fair, and honest mechanic who truly cares. Mike stayed with my two daughters and I for an extra hour after his shop had closed making sure my oldest's new/used 2009 Honda Civic had a new battery, safe tires (no leaks), and sound brakes. BTW...I only went in for a battery problem. The classic cars, southern rock, and physics conversations weren't too bad either. Mike is the man and the ONLY mechanic I will work with going forward, Thanks Mike!!!

If you are looking for an honest mechanic, check out this place. I went in for a brake job, and after spending about half an hour checking the brakes, Mike told me that my brakes were in good shape, and the sound I heard was due to rust build up on the brakes. He didn't ask me for anything for the time he spent, and sent me on my way after checking the brakes. I still paid him for his time of course. I will be back for sure if I need anything done on my vehicles. Thanks!

Mike is absolutely amazing. He is a rarity- My husband was driving to work & the car turned off & was blowing smoke. Instead of getting a tow truck- Mike came out to where he was broke down, bought a new battery, installed it on the road & did whatever to get the car to the shop. He THEN drove my husband home, fixed the car in a decent amount of time & CAME BACK TO our house to pick him up. He saved us a tow & did NOT have to be our transport. He has fixed two of our cars & could not be any happier. He also was so honest- with one of our cars there was something special ordered or whatnot & told us he has to do some research prior to taking things apart (He didn't want to charge us the labor time). Mike works on Sundays which is rare to find. He also was so flexible with pick up & drop off. He is so honest, friendly. We have older cars & they run better than ever. He is your Go TO if you want great service, good prices & a mechanic WHO WILL GO OUT OF HIS WAY TO HELPPPPP

I needed to get brakes done on my car. I called after hours and Mike called me back the next day, even though I didn't leave a voicemail. I explained what I needed and we set up an appointment. He has a lot of knowledge about cars. He was willing to explain and answers all of my questions. He did a great job. I would recommend Mike to any of my friends and family. Mike is awesome! Very friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He talked me through some diagnostics right over the phone and had me take my car to autozone to pull the codes. The codes matched exactly what he thought the issue might be based on our initial conversation. That was impressive! Mike generally only works on foreign imports, so he had recommended me to a mechanic to work on my American made car. I can’t say enough.
