Dropped car off with a nail in our tire after hours. Dropped it off after hours without any information and they sent a text right away in the morning before they even open to let me know they had it and we’re working on it. They put 24 new Dorman lugnuts on my 2019 Ford F-150 and half of them don't match and several started to rust. I bought four new Cooper Endeavor tires off you in the past. I would hope your company will replace my mismatched and rusted out lugnuts. If not, I will be doing business elsewhere.

Great shop! Was referred by another shop in town since Neal has lifts low enough for sports cars. This shop is honest, fairly priced and provides quality work. Service Writer Jay is very friendly and does a great job communicating the work that needs to be done. They give honest diagnosis you can trust. I’ve since taken multiple vehicles here and received the same experience each time. This shop is highly recommended!

I was extremely disappointed with the lack of service on a tire warranty issue. I purchased a pair of trailer tires and one of them failed. The tire was clearly defective and fell within the manufacturer’s warranty period. I had a copy of the warranty and they told me “that was the manufacturer’s warranty, not ours. We don’t warranty any trailer tires.” It was outrageous they sold the tires but would not service the warranty. I took the tire to Belle Tire and they handled the warranty adjustment with no problem. I do not plan to ever set foot in a Neal Tire (Ben Tire) ever again. I contacted their home office by email and have had no response. Totally unprofessional!

I’ve been getting text messages asking me to provide feedback on Google and Facebook. I guess I can do that. Thank you for bringing to my attention that it is time for me to seek new alternatives for my auto tire and service needs. It is clearly time for me to move on. I will work hard to heed the $3,737.17 lesson that you all provided. MY OIL LEAK EXPERIENCE WITH NEAL TIRE IN BLOOMINGTON, IL November 2025 On October 27, 2025 I brought my 2015 Ford Edge to Neal Tire in Bloomington, IL for an oil change and advice on a slow oil leak. This vehicle has been serviced at that location for the past several years. I was told the leak could not be easily determined and I was advised to purchase a procedure called “Degrease and Dye” for $69.99 plus tax and bring the vehicle back in a week. I did so. I returned on November 5, 2025. After looking over my vehicle for 90 minutes, they advised I needed to replace a vacuum pump gasket, a valve cover gasket and an oil pressure sensor which could be done for $863.15. I did so. At the end of the day on November 5, 2025 I paid for the work and my vehicle was released to me. By the time I drove it home (about 7 miles), the vehicle leaked worse than when I took it in. Apparently, no one bothered to start the vehicle and let it run for a while so they could check the work. I guess that is my job. I returned on November 8, 2025 and left the vehicle to be fixed again. On Tuesday, November 11, 2025 I was contacted (Yes, it took a day and a half to review the previous work I was charged for that did not fix the problem). I was told I needed a new rear main seal. The cost would be $2,804.03. After some deliberation, I agreed to the work. On Friday, November 14, 2025 at noon I received a call that my vehicle was ready. (Yes, it took three days to perform the work. I was told it was being “picked away at it” and that “it was a lot work”. Apparently, no one bothered to start the vehicle and let it run for a while so they could check the work when they finished. I guess that is my job. I picked up the vehicle on the afternoon of Friday, November 14, 2025. By the time I drove it home, again about 7 miles, it leaked just as much. No change in the amount or speed of the oil leaking out of my vehicle. On Saturday, November 15, 2025 I returned just to tell them that oil still leaked from the vehicle and that I would leave them a small sample in the parking lot. Ed looked out the window and said that he could see it was leaking. I left. Shortly thereafter, Jay left me a voice mail asking when I could bring it back in. That seems kind of insulting. But I guess when a customer pays $3,737.17 for service that does not fix the problem he can expect to receive a certain amount of disrespect from the manager which might result in such an insult. Now that would seem like Einstein’s definition of insanity “doing the same thing over again and expecting different results”. I guess I am not much inclined to return my vehicle to be held hostage for who knows how many days while you figure out how to charge me for more work that won’t fix the problem. Believe me, I already feel like a fool for agreeing to the $2,804.03 repair that did nothing to stop the oil leak. Hopefully, it was worth it to you all. Total: Seven days of access to work on my vehicle. Plus, $3,737.17 in cost. Result: No change. My vehicle leaks oil on my garage floor, on every roadway I drive along and in every parking spot I use in a similar manner as it did prior to October 17th when I took it in to Neal Tire in Bloomington, IL. It is as if no work at all had been done to my vehicle. Imagine how stupid I feel.

Again, a great experience with Neal Tire. Went for a tire rotation and it needed more work. Needed new rear shocks, coolant service w/cleaning, and air filter - more than I went in for but I trust their judgement. Don’t know if the price is reasonable or not because I didn’t price compare. Usually several $$’s less than the dealership though!! They were able to work on the fixes the same day and now I feel safer in my SUV. Keep it up, Neal Tire!

Jay Chavez, shop manager, specified my problem and presented me with workable options as we were 50 miles from home. I have been going to Neil Tire for years and they are absolutely the best, most honest, and trustworthy mechanic in Bloomington. You can’t go anywhere better where they standby what they quote you and the work they do. They are also very friendly and eager to assist, and even the workers in the back will come out smiling And greeting people at the counter. That’s good Customer Service and that’s part of the reason why I love this place. The other reason is because they do darn good work on my vehicle all the time, and when I go in I know I can trust them to do the work they say they’re going to and in a timely manner. Ed, J and all the people that work there thank you so much.

Well I was happy with my tire purchase at Neal and when I bought the tires im pretty sure I bought a package that includes free repair and rotation of the tires. So i make a appointment for tire rotation at 6000 miles so i take it in there Saturday for rotation only. I noticed my vehicle was parked back out front so I went to desk and ed told me it will be just a minute hes getting a estimate i responded estimate for what I came for rotation only and he says well you have several things that need attention like upper and lower control control arms need replaced and get this i need my brake lines and coolant flushed because its dirty. Lol. Brakes are all new all the way around 8 months ago and coolant was only a cpl months old because there was a new long block installed 6 month ago along with a new radiator and water pump and belt I said to ed im good just give me keys he said ok that will be 20 dollars I said for what he said rotation i informed him tire rotation was included in purchase of tires he says oh i didn't know you bought the tires from us thats bull because he had all my info right in front of him not only that hes the one who sold the tires to me the day they were installed and i only have one eye and a messed up face from cancer so I know he remembers me being in there before. I get home and check fluids all to find coolant level so full it had spilled out on the drive home. Apparently the tech doesn't know them tanks have a max fill line. Funny how they respond with management will be contacting you but i never heard back from anyone. Lol

30 year customer of this shop going back to its days as Terry Winn. Professional, courteous, honest. Unfortunate recent experience has me looking elsewhere for future auto service. Received written estimate for rear differential service, break fluid flush, oil change & tire rotation. Vehicle ready for pick up but charge was DOUBLE original estimate ($700). Turns out the shop replaced rear brakes instead of just brake fluid flush. Miscommunications happen. Understood. Team reinstalled old brakes. Vehicle ready again. But total now $75 more. Additional charge for brake fluid and differential fluid not in original estimate. After discussion, fluid charges deducted and oil change fee waived as courtesy for the trouble. Over my 30 years with this shop, usually reliable and straightforward. A bump here or there over the years but nothing like this. I've lost faith.
