Stopped in after calling and speaking to Tom. Tom helped me with a problem on the spot - went above & beyond in fixing it and then helped educate me to fix the problem further myself (which he could've easily convinced me needed to be a service call - but instead gave me info to try it myself or return if I needed help). It's not often in auto repair industry you meet someone who is a straight shooter. He is also practical and detailed in his approach. Definitely gained me as a return customer and I'm sharing his info w/ my family & friends.

I hardly ever write reviews, but I feel compelled to let the Bloomington-Normal area know about the excellent service I received today at Bill's. They not only repaired my exhaust problem, but also took care of a few other minor issues at no cost. Their final charge was more than fair. The chief mechanic really listened to what I needed and could afford. He was super-friendly and provided me with outstanding customer service. Bill's is a locally-owned business, almost an icon in the Miller Park neighborhood. They may look like a small, two-bay repair shop, but when it comes to vehicles, their name says it all: they are FULL SERVICE. I am one very satisfied customer. You will be, too!

I brought my car in for a simple repair, and when I got it back, the car was working as it should but all the change I had in the vehicle was gone. When I asked the shop about it, they basically shrugged it off, saying they’ve had stuff stolen from cars before and didn’t seem concerned at all. They said there’s no security cameras on the property and didn’t offer any accountability. It’s not about the money its just frustrating to leave your car somewhere for repairs and have your personal belongings go missing with no care from the staff. Not a place I’d trust with my vehicle or valuables.
