I stopped to get an estimate on my car and the guy at Northwest Auto Body acted like I was an inconvenience. He didn't even take the time to give an appropriate estimate. He just said I needed two new bumbers and it would be $1500 or more. I went to another body shop in town and they were very welcoming and are willing to work with me to come up with a solution that won't cost $1500. Too bad Northwest Auto Body didn't take the time to get a new customer. All they ended up with is a bad review. Customer service is everything. Had Northwest given me the time of day, I would have spent the $1500. Just a side note: the other body shop has all 5☆ reviews.

I had to schedule 3 months out, but I'm glad I did! I was slightly worried cause I have a special paint. They got it spot on and can not tell I had bumper damage. They were very professional and I will be doing any body damage to my car (hopefully never) here

Had a very pleasant experience here. Pick up my car a few days ago, and had a few issues and/or questions. Went back and they took care of all my issues and went above and beyond what I expected of them. I have taken my car's to them at least three times and have had great results. They stand by their work and will work with you on any issues you have. Greatly appreciated the customer service. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone that needs repairs, etc.

Edit after this review I'm having issues with the fender trim coming loose on one side the other side the clear coat is peeling! Need to contact them to see if they will fix it at their cost! Don't believe this would have happened if they didn't do the work on it! I was happy with the work that was done, one small thing that happened was they did not install new fender trim clips before they gave back my truck so I had to return the vehicle for this to be done. I will use them again if needed and I would recommend them to others.

These guys are the best in Yakima - best in class on service and price. I clipped a curb in a parking lot, and the protective cover on my passenger side wheel well popped off. I brought it down, they popped it back into place. I tried to pay something, but no charge - just a smile and handshake. That's what I love about Northwest Auto Body - whether it's a big busted insurance job needed or just snapping something back into place - bring your vehicle here first! Thank you again NAB team!

My family has had a few of our vehicles worked on here. They do a wonderful, high quality job every time. This time, i told them i am moving and waiting for my vehicle to be done. They surprised me and got it done about a week and a half early for me! I am thrilled! They are kind, honest people. Working with my insurance wasnt the easiest either but they handled it all well!

Attempted to get an estimate on some fender damage to my car. We were asked to come back because Sean was out to lunch. Came back in an hour and Sean was back. Sean looked over the car and said it would be about an hour for him to write up estimate. I asked if he could email it to us so we didn’t have to wait and he agreed. Next day called auto-body shop and left a message for Sean( no estimate received)Called again the next day and asked if estimate had been sent left message for Sean. My husband called the next day and spoke to Sean only for him to tell us that they would only give us an estimate if we were going to deal with them for certain so he could send it to our insurance company. We stated that we didn’t know if we wanted to go with Northwest auto body company for sure and if we were able to just get an estimate? Again, he said he would email it to us. Well to this day, we’ve still never received it. I will never go to this business again, what a waste of time. Not good business ethic.

Such a great experience today. The staff and crew at Northwest Auto Body was so helpful. I did a dumb thing and scuffed the paint on my car quite badly. After a very kind and yet well deserved scolding by the owner, the technician wielded some sort of magical powers and buffed out the scratches, completely restoring the shine and beauty to my Buick. My husband and I have had our vehicles repaired at Northwest Auto Body a few times through the years, always with the greatest satisfaction. You can’t go wrong with Northwest Auto Body. Their work is exceptional. And friendly, happy staff. Yes, you might have to wait for your vehicle to be repaired. But the wait is just another indication of just how good and how in demand they are. If you can, wait. Let NWAB do the work for you. They’re worth it.

I had fender damage to my car. I took it in to get fixed. They told me it would be done in June 2023. I didn’t receive my car back till Sept 2023. They were rude when I would call to check up on my car. When I received my car back. They didn’t apologize for how long it took. They did do a great job on my car, it looks brand new. I would not recommend them to anyone.If you want you car back in a timely manner. This is not the place to go.

Got into a wreck and needed some work done, my insurance is contracted through NW autobody so I called, they were friendly throughout the whole process and helpful. Can't even tell anything happened to my car. Had a small issue with my clock being frozen after I picked up my car and called, they were able to get it to work properly again very quickly. Would def recommend them to friends/family

I have to say, I did not have the best experience with them - Extremely rude. If you truly value quality customer service, honesty, and getting your car back in a reasonable amount of time (understanding that there may be hiccups), you may want to choose another auto body shop in Yakima. Treating your customers well is key. Simple, simple.

We attempted to have this shop repair some damage on our son's car after he hit a deer. From the beginning, the communication was lacking- we could not get a return phone call, nobody seemed to know what was going on, or their voicemail was full and we could not leave a message. They told us to drop the car off on a specific date and when we called for an update later that day, the woman laughed and said it was not a one day job. But when we tried to get answers, we couldn't despite numerous phone calls and even attempts to go into the shop for an update. They lied about needing more parts to order and that was the hold up. After 2 weeks of no communication, we decided to switch shops and informed them we would be coming by for the car. They were not happy and said they would likely charge us a restocking fee since they already had all the parts to repair. This was a claim through our insurance provider so we alerted them to these accusations and they said that the shop has not even followed the proper procedure for the claim.We picked up the car and took it to another shop to have the repairs done. We would not recommend this shop to anyone. Better off taking your vehicle somewhere else.

They’re Thieves! My Brother took his truck in to get his door fixed and left two pairs of glasses in there and they stole them. When they asked about the glasses the employee simply told them it wasn’t their responsibility. Spending so much money and they can’t even be trusted with personal belongings. Honestly it’s BS. Don’t give this place your hard earned money!!

PERFECTION!!!! A word rarely associated ANY car repair experience but in this case, "PERFECTION" applies perfectly to the work of the crew and management at NW Auto Body . . . with 100% accuracy! NWAB has repeatedly performed . . . flawlessly . . . working on several car repair projects for our family! Showroom fresh body work, perfect paint match, high precision fit, and a great attitude all add up to a stress-free restoration of your favorite ride! And to top it all off, I'm compelled to share that their shop rates must have been cast in concrete . . . . way back in the early 70's! Totally reasonable. (I probably shouldn't say that or they might change their mind!) Most recently, I needed to pick up our Lexus after NWAB completed their body work magic on it. My wife was out of town with our other vehicle so I had no way to get to the shop. I was totally blown away when Craig, the NWAB OWNER himself, showed up at my home in Selah to personally give me a ride to the shop! That's referred to as, "Leading by example!!!" A company's overall tone and attitude starts at the top and Craig clearly gets what it means to leave other people's lives much BETTER than you find them! My big congrats to Craig and all of his fab crew at NWAB! They have definitely earned the title of being our permanent "Family Auto Restoration Experts!" My car went to Northwest Auto Body for repair, someone thought they needed into it and tear the seal and scratched the paint around the door. I went to pick it up Friday and I noticed a trim piece missing. The guy comes out and says we never had the door off… 🤔hmm then there was another car like mine with MT plates in your lot last week??? 🤦🏻♀️ seriously idiot!! What you think I wouldn’t check up on you? Is it because I’m a woman?? Needless to say I will never be going back to them or recommend them to anyone. Oh then while they were busy trying to locate it apparently… the staff didn’t get my insurance squared away and was basically trying to intimidate me and say if my insurance didn’t pay that they were coming after me. Okay that is not my problem it is their job to get their ducks in a row and make sure payment is received from insurance. Is that not apart of their business?? I was confused and started asking questions and basically saying I had no idea. I was then told “okay, only one person can speak at a time” Which immediately, then answer my questions. I offered to call my insurance lady as I had just talked to her about twenty minutes earlier. His response, “ no, it’s Friday and late.” What?? So not sure of his intension was to even mention it to me. I have never heard of the customer being put in the middle, your staff needs to do their job. It should have been taken care of prior to any work being started. I’m not impressed with the customer service. Oh and then should we talk about the repair work done on my car?? Please don’t go there. They are a business where their work is their resume and the customer service is their word. In my opinion, I’m not impressed with either one. I don’t like being lied to or being intimidated. Not cool!!!
