Knowledge is a must for auto parts stores - and these guys know their stuff ! I was impressed that all the front counter employees managed to take phone questions, while helping at the counter at the same time, and also at the checkout register for showroom purchases.. Very impressive. They assisted behind the counter as well as on the product showroom. They will even hold an item if you call in - which they did for me as the serpentine belt i needed was the last in stock ( which guaranteed i would get the belt ). They help the pro and first timers all the same. Definitely going here for all my parts and questions.

Well I'll just say what happened and you can decide for yourself. I went in to buy a tire plug. I was with an eighty four year old gentleman....As we entered the store, the woman behind the counter looked at us but didn't say anything. The man behind the counter was smiling like a wolf at the customer at his register, who was Very Upset. I mean frustrated, red-faced, incredulous, that they wouldn't work with him on his warranteed battery. The employee said, " Oh, I agree with you 100%, but I dont know what the other employee promised you or if somthings wrong with your car..might not be our battery at all.... ".etc.etc. Meanwhile, we found our own way around and located the desired product( it took some time, mind you). The angry customer had stomped out the door and just left his new defective battery, receipt, and items on the counter. We waited there with no one in front of us and finally the woman gave the " I can help you" arm motion ,But did she speak or I daresay smile? Absolutely not. Not even to the little little old man with me. She rang us up for 21$ as I simultaneously took a call from my tire repairing friend, who said, " You're at o'rileys." I already bought a tire repair plug kit and fixed your tire. How much was the just bought? The one I got was $6.50". (mine was 3x more expensive!!) I hung up and as the silent woman wordlessly handed me my change and receipt, I said " I need to return this. I have a receipt. " The elderly man with me Laughed. I laughed. The lady just stared. She had heard the whole conversation anyway. And It's probably somewhat relevant to mention this 84 yr old man ran his own auto business for 50 yrs here in town called HYFY MUFFLER. The woman finally spoke after a big sigh. " I'll need your phone number, I guess." Lee and I looked at each other. She does talk! So I suppose That's probably enough recap for you. I will add that we definitely had a customer service conversation in my car on the way home. It began with Lee saying "Back in My Day...."

My dad and I went here to get a battery for my Jeep and Cynthia helped us out. She was great - very knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. She installed the battery, and checked the starter and alternator, all in the summer heat. Thank you!!

My sister and I had the pleasure of running into Luis on Saturday while trying to get to Southern California for Christmas. Our check engine light came on and we had to stop at several shops to try and get a diagnosis (especially difficult on a weekend). He provided the free check engine diagnostic but then went above and beyond to help us out! We had an issue with our cylinder 3 spark plug and after he contacted several friends in hopes to get us some help with replacing it with no luck he decided to do it himself!! He assisted us in buying the needed part then when he got off of work he happily came out and replaced the problem spark plug. He even assisted us with putting more oil in our tank! We truly cannot thank him enough for helping us get home.

The service here is horrible literally spoke with another oreilly branch location on norte dame blvd who gave me a part # and let me know to call them they have it in stock since its closer to my house and apparently these guys dont have it and the part they have is allegedly $40 more then the other store. Guy on the phone made it seem like it was a big deal. Get better ppl with greater customer service because this location is terrible
