Shop said $300 for some used parts, my driving was 290 miles, then after I cancelled family appointment (s) they upped the price!! Unethical like Clinton Obama crime foundation!! Oh well, avoid at any cost to your pocket!

The experience has been exceptional so for. I prefer using the smaller shops for work. The attention to detail is usually higher and work with Mike has been no different. Do not ever, I repeat ever take your engines here, they messed up 2 blocks of mine and refused to take blame for them. The customer service is the worst I have ever seen in my life. The owner will cuss at you and call you dumb straight to your face. They will blame you for the issues and say it was your fault. They need to be shut down.

I had a 5.3l Chevy block + crank done by them a couple of years ago. One of the cylinders had some rust in it before they touched it; they didn't take off enough of the cylinder walls and left a small patch from rust damage in that cylinder. My co-worker's brother had the LS1 from his C5 'Vette done there as well, shortly after, and they cross-threaded one of the main cap bolts and cracked a chunk out of the block around the main journal. And probably didn't even use all of the main cap bolts to line bore it as only one bolt was in each cap when he got the block back from them. By God's grace, both engines are still running, but man, that 5.3 is noisy. Got some good blow-by as well.
