This location has the best customer service I've experienced in a very long time. I came in today for a battery test. Of course I needed a new battery, 2015 original battery. The guy that helped me didn't hesitate to replace my battery, even after we found out it was behind the passenger seat in the floor. Wowzers! I was sure he would say to take it somewhere else, because it's 13 degrees and more work than most installs. But, nope. I pray he is blessed all his days for being such a blessing to others.

I think the folks that work here mean well but there is a reason it is noted to be a huge conflict of interest in offering to work on peoples cars or recommending others who personally work in cars. My elderly mom visited this location for one of the workers to offer to fix her car after scanning it for her, he replaced a part but not the part that was indicated as to be the major problem, then completely ghosted her. Then I went in with her to pick up the right part where we were advised from the cashier he would not recommend we try to fix it on our own and recommended his personal friend who works on cars to be called, I has been a nightmare to get it done. Today I called Heartland in Basehor and made an appointment as my mom canceled the appointment she originally had when the employer stated he would be happy to help her. Should have never took the direction from the cashiers at this location, a total mess is all it has been. Keep in mind the second recommendations came right out to my moms to charge her the 65 to scan and said it would go towards the cost of fixing the car, haven’t seen him since….. excuse after excuse but boy did he make it to her house to do the 5 minute scan and collect 65.00

They had what I needed, it wasn't too expensive, I was helped immediately, I was asked if I needed help finding something, the service was friendly, and they asked for me to repeat my business plus they helped me to open the door when I left. Now that's service with a smile! This, in today's world of business, is too rare... if the shopping experience was like this everywhere, then many places of business would still be in business and customers would be lining up at their doors. This location has the ALL time best staff I've ever met! My car stopped and died on me in the middle of the road.. I managed to make it here and the outcome was that my battery needed to be fully charged. The night staff made sure to make me feel comfortable like family while I had the longest wait ever.. but I enjoyed every moment of it!! They laughed, joked and worked professionally all at the same damn time!! They made my night much better. 💓 I love these guys!! Keep up the great work fellas you all need a raise! The staff at this location is top notch. I drove to this location 2 days before I was to leave for Rome. My car was having trouble starting and to say I was stressed out is an understatement. Daniel diagnosed the problem and had me back on the road within the hour! Austin and the whole staff were super friendly and had me laughing by the time I left. They definitely made me feel like family.

I normally go to O'Reilly for car parts and other automotive things; they have a great selection of parts, fluids, and tools, plus fast delivery of anything they don't have in-store. This particular visit (Dec 22), I needed to fill the oil in my brother's car that has a small leak. I dropped the oil cap down in the engine bay where I couldn't see it, and I was in a dress shirt which made it hard to lay on the ground or reach into the bay to try to get it. An employee named Edward came out during his break and offered to help. He grabbed a flashlight, looked around, got on the ground and tapped the oil cap off the undercarriage cover onto the ground, and layed on his back to reach under the car to grab it. He had no obligation to do that, especially when it took 10 minutes of his break looking for the cap. He seems like a great employee

This store has horrible customer service, no knowledge, and try to scam. I went to get ONLY my car key battery changed. They weren’t paying attention while changing it. Once they were “done” I went to start my car, but it would not turn on. They said it was my alternator and tried selling me one when it was clearly not the problem. I spent an hour there trying to figure it out with my father because they would not help. The 2 men in the store spent more time giving us attitude and yelling at my dad instead of actually being of any help, they yelled at us to leave. Turns out they dropped the chip while changing it and never held themselves accountable nor even apologized. We would’ve had to pay a lot more for something that was their fault. I would give zero stars if I could, the managers need to take a look into this horrible customer service given at about 8-9pm on 01/09/25. 👎
