We asked these guys to look over a truck I was buying from a seller they do business with regularly. We wanted to make sure it would be okay for a cross country trip and we would be safe. Ocean Auto gave us the okay but there were a few repairs that would be needed. After I paid them problems began appearing with the truck. First was a massive, corroded hole in the floorboard which they failed to mention. Second was a gigantic hole in the muffler. After taking it to another mechanic, who had to replace the rear differential, another thing Ocean Auto failed to mention, the mechanic cleaned up a mess the guys at Ocean Auto left in my brakes. Now, during inspection, I'm finding out that the parking brake is completely non functional. It appears that the only thing Ocean Auto inspected on my truck was ways to make money off of me. These guys are only looking to make a quick buck off of people who don't have the knowledge to protect themselves. Keep away from them. Please find another shop.

I'm the owner of this place Benny Ben came in for inspection with fake dealer plates his car didn't pass safety inspection because car had no front brakes he started arguing with us asking to pass him because he wants to sell this car guys don't buy cars from him they are not safe to drive and he lies to his costumers because he wants to make money without putting money in the car that he Is selling the rule is pass or fail you still have to pay for the inspection.His receipt is attached to this message.He sells cars illegally with fake plates this person doesn't care in what conditions he sells his cars.

They charged me 37$ the guys from ocean ave Not only that they were looking to fail my inspection to look to make money shame on them I went to a different place and they passed me right away and for cheaper

Amazing experience ❤️ I needed an inspection done and I happened upon this place on the way back from dropping off my kid at daycare. They handled it from start to finish in less than 10 minutes for $10. I was nervous about bringing it in for inspection as mechanics have a tendency to "find" things that need repair in order to approve the car for inspection. Great experience and highly recommended.

I visited this service for an inspection and was charged $37. In my experience, the inspection itself was not completed, and instead I was advised to replace the brake pads. I was initially quoted about $250 for the work, but later the price mentioned was around $450, which was confusing to me. Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations, so I personally would not return. Others may have a different experience.

I recently visited this Lexus service center to replace my brake pads. The pricing was significantly higher than I expected for this type of work. I would recommend that customers carefully review the estimate and compare prices before proceeding with repairs. In my experience, the communication about costs could have been clearer, and I felt that the pricing structure was not fully transparent. I hope the management considers improving pricing clarity and customer communication in the future.
