I have been taking various cars to Ogden Motors for about 10 years. First and foremost, Tom Quinn, the manager, is direct and honest. I always come away with the sense that my car was serviced well; professionally, competently, and not beyond what was necessary. If there's any place to go for your car this is the place. We are always greeted with a smile from Tom when we come in, and he is always so friendly. Erik does a great job taking car of my car. Treats it as if it's his own, and really takes pride in his work. Always explains everything he does and what we can expect for the usual oil change visits. This is the best mechanic shop and will keep referring my friends and family to go. Thank you!

YEARS LATER NO CONTACT. DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE IT TO COURT BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO DEAL WITH THE COURT. SENT MY CAR IN TO GET A IGNITION SWITCH AND IT CAME BACK NOT FIXED MY CAR CUT OFF AT TARGET.ASK THEM TO FIX IT AGAIN THEN MY CAR CAME BACK WITH WINDOW OUT AND MY TOP TORN(I SENT IT BACK BECAUSE THE IGNITION SWITCH WASN'T FIXED ALL THEY DID WAS PUT SOME OIL ON THE KEY LOL .MY CAR CAME BACK WITH A DAMAGED ROOF AND BACK WINDOW BLOWN OUT. I ASKED THEM NOT TO PUT ANY GLUE OR TAPE ON IT IF THE COULDN'T REPAIR THE DAMAGE BUT EVIDENTLY THEY DID IT ANYWAY.WHO PUTS FLEXY GLUE ON A CLOTH TOP? (EVEN ASKED FOR VIDEO OF HOW MY CAR WAS DAMAGED?) DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR CAR BECAUSE THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THE MONEY.

I have never really found a mechanic I like, mostly because I hate paying labor. I got myself in a bind and thought I would try Ogden Motorcar. I dropped my BMW off this morning and Tom within about an hour called me with an idea of the repair. Then about 30 minutes later he called with a quote. I'm still in the middle of service but so far I am extremely happy with them and the communication. Mentioned he may be able to get the car back to me in a single day. Though I won't hold him to that, I got off the phone feeling good about who I left my car with and actually have some trust for my mechanic. Good business deserves good reviews. Thanks again Tom.

I have been using Ogden Motorcar for several years and they never disappoint! Good quality service done in a timely manor. I'm always explained exactly what is wrong with my car, how it will be fixed, given a good price, and then any updates as needed. Tom is personable with his customers as well. Tom and his crew continues to provide me with superior service. After 25 years I still rely on them for my automotive needs. Most recently they inspected my new 2019 VW Atlas SEL. They found a couple concerns I needed to address, after the dealership revealed what service they had performed, before offering the vehicle for sale. You can always be sure that they are going to recommend the things that require immediate attention and anything that might still have some life to it. This helps you budget any issues that may arise down the road.

I recently sent an Audi R8 Spyder to them for a pre-purchase inspection, and within just 20 minutes, Tom reached out to advise against the purchase due to several costly issues. July 28,2023,i searched on google maps this place and I choose to trust them to repair my car,and i drive my car to repair, i paid them for 260$ for only replacing that part(like the picture), i think it’s only a stick of iron, and i didn’t check my car and i drive it to home, second day , i drive my car to go play soccer game, ,after the game, i looked at the rear wheel, it showed me that a tool was still there! i’m shocked, and i called the boss, he said it’s safe to drive and he asked me to drive his place, no sorry to me, i really don’t know that he if finished with my car’s work! so it’s not a place to repair the car, they haven’t any worth to trust! and they don’t care about the client’s safety, they only care about the money!

You will not find a better shop. I have been coming to Ogden Motorcar for over a decade. The attention to detail, quality work, and customer satisfaction of this shop is genuinely in the top .01% of mechanic shops in the WORLD let alone Illinois. You think I am kidding? Take your car in and you’ll be getting the best service possible whether it’s a 90s Buick or a brand new Porsche Cayan. Couldn’t give a higher review. Mr.Tom Quinn has become family to me and I’m lucky to say that. I’ve had 4 different cars come through this shop with everything from stolen cats, to transmission, to oil change, to tires and service is always 11/10. Best service you’ll find - anywhere.
