Comprehensive service, open and honest pricing, great communication, what's not to love? The wife brought our 7-year old mini cooper in for a thorough check up. We already knew the coolant tank was leaking and would need to be fixed (common issue in minis). The guys set out clearly each of the things that would need looking at in our quote including parts and labor costs. We were able to go home, and fix the smaller things ourselves (air filters, etc) just so that we had a sense of achievement. Some places would have been pissy about that, but they were not, instead they were rather encouraging. For the things we couldn't do (brake line flush, power steering, coolant tank) the guys fixed them all, on quote, in half a day, AND the heating had packed up since the initial quote, and they spent quite some time trying to figure out what was wrong, tracked down the problem and then managed to fix it without having to order the miniscule but $80 (according to Mini BMW) plastic toggle. I was so impressed I asked if I could pay a little extra labor costs, because I knew they spent way more time on the heating than they'd quoted for, but they wouldn't have it. Not only would I come here again, and recommend it, I really would HATE to go elsewhere now. Don't mistrust all the 5* reviews - they earn them.

I was at OC imports today 04/11/14 VERY disappointed, I will never go back to that place. “The owner” Christian had by far the most unprofessional snappy attitude and worse customer service ever, (Although he initially managed to sound different on the phone). I don’t believe this business will last long with this kind of behavior. I own 3 European cars and I rather give real professionals like Fletcher jones and Irvine BMW / Mini the extra buck for their excellent customer service than having some junkie snap at me. My guess? The guy is too high for his own good.

Simply fantastic. We took our car to the dealership first for a loud noise and when it was discovered that it was an exhaust problem, the dealership recommended orange county imports. I arrived 15 minutes before closing and quickly explained the problem. The dealership had already called ahead, so they pulled the car right in and had it fixed in less than 10 minutes. They were 1/100th of the price the dealer would have charged. The whole staff was friendly and I didn't feel like I was getting the stink eye for coming in so close to closing. I'd come back again.

My dad brought me to Christian, everyone else quoted me super high prices and was telling me it would take days to fix my car, Christian not only fixed my car in one day, he was way under budget and I was so appreciative of the repairs he completed, that I gave him the extra money as a bonus for being such a remarkable and swell guy. My car has never run so good, its like a new car since Christian changed and belts and did several very important replacements...he will never cheat you, he is the nicest man I ever met and he is kind and sweet...his girlfriend is very fortunate...

These guys were great! They fit me in same day when all the other shops I called told me it would be 2 days before they could look at my car. They were friendly, explained all the issues clearly, and were not at all pushy. They even showed me smart-phone pictures of each of the problems, so I could see what they were talking about, which was a nice touch. I also really appreciated that they were honest about which repairs absolutely needed to be done that day, and which could wait. I ultimately decided not to put more money into un-necessary repairs and do all of the needed repairs (time for a new car), but I will be back as a customer next time I need repairs done.

Do you avoid driving your luxury car or just can't enjoy it because you are constantly worried where to take your car for repair, can you trust them and will they do a good job? Well, I have & I cant say enough about this auto repair shop and the time, effort and impeccable job done by Christian the owner. I know this might seem like an ad but you know how hard it is to find the right mechanic and not feel like you've been raped when leaving. Christian and his staff were friendly, thorough, clean & did a great job. Everything was explained and upfront. If he did not explain it he showed me his concerns and suggestions. When I left the price was right, I felt the job was well done and had a piece of mind & didn't mind paying the bill. I brought in a Porsche for maintenance but while I was their I say two other clients treated just as well for their BMW & VW. I have found my new mechanic & thank the team for your service!

The mechanics guy who working on are worse. Don’t recommend this place. I simply had a lost bolt on my rear tire. I ask the staff if he can or I can simply borrow the tools to screw the bolt because I had a kid on my car and the car making noise when driving it’s very unsafe. It’s only 5 second job and I said I’ll pay him. He told me to go somewhere else because he had other thing do. how difficult and stressful for him to take to tides a bolt….. I went to another shop 5 mins away they came out super nice take cared it in 3 second and I paid them $10 just for appreciate the helps.

Have had Cristian work on my cars for years always reliable and keeps you up to date on what is happening with your car. Had him redo the head on our 328I BMW about 3 years ago and it's still going strong. Also he has worked on my Ford truck and always been very trustworthy at a good price . I think he is working on my truck as a favor he specializes in German cars and other foreign cars.

It's so refreshing to find an HONEST car repair business. Ken and staff are the best. They installed a trunk lid switch on my BMW 535i and it worked just fine. Ken told me that they found an updated part that was better and offered to replace the other one at no cost. I came back 2 days later and they replaced it in less than 30 min. They didn't charge me for the new part or labor. I would have never known that there was a better part available if they hadn't told me. I'm a customer for life! Thank you Ken and team for always having my back and for excellent service always!

These guys are the BEST. If you’re looking for service on your VW, this is the place to be. After thousands of wasted dollars with the dealership, I finally found a reasonably priced mechanic for my GTI. I had a coolant leak repaired for less than HALF of the quoted price from the dealership, got my oil changed, and got my front brake pads and rotors replaced, without breaking the bank. Very fair and reasonable pricing, and phenomenal customer service. Daniel is friendly and super helpful, and he makes sure you know exactly what’s going on and that your car is in good hands. Always a pleasure working with them as they are also very flexible with dropping off / picking up your car. I’m so glad that after 2 years of dealership shenanigans, I’ve finally found the right shop for my car. Highly recommend!!
