Not even worthy of 1 Star. Unprofessional, Rude, damaged my car while towing without my permission, charged $168 for a 1.2 mile tow and told me to get lost when confronting them. I took him to small claims court, won and had yet to pay me even a year later.

My car wouldn't start in an downtown Albany garage. The first place I called wouldn't even come saying they couldn't get into the low-ceilinged garage. Osborne came and the technician walked a portable charger to my car. Turns out it wasn't the battery, but the kind gentleman got my car moving so I could get home on a freezing night. I'm not going to start calling the dispatcher for his sparkling personality, but he got a service guy to me and wasn't rude - what more could I ask for? I am very grateful to the road service guy and Joe's Osborne Street Garage.

Horrible experience they illegally towed my car TWICE! although I proven to have a parking pass for the residence I live in. I've shown them that I did in fact have the parking pass but they still charged and towed me both times. What a pathetic job to have. They were also very unprofessional telling me maybe my car wouldn't have gotten towed if I was a home owner.

Disrespectful workers, messy, dismissive and just the worst people to encounter on this earth. If your car gets towed, you won’t know about it because they don’t have the decency to notify you. They do cash only talkin bout plus tax (not legit if you ask me). Garage is a disaster can’t tell if it’s rubble or trash. They will damage your property and won’t be professional about handling how to move forward with it. Do yourself a favor and make a prayer before you enter this realm of chaos. You will need it.

Not even one star. I showed up as soon as ‘JG’ was beginning to tow my car, it wasn’t even on the lift. He was extremely aggressive and very rude as soon as I arrived. I apologized for the inconvenience, then asked him to remove the winch from my car and he immediately said “that’ll be 40 bucks then, go get the money now if you don’t have it.” I then told him that I would not be paying him because according to NYS law it is unlawful for a towing company operated to tow a vehicle if the owner or operate of the vehicle appears at the scene. It is also unlawful to charge for the release of your vehicle (Unless you called for the towing service yourself and then end up canceling it after they show up, the towing company can then charge no more than $20). After explaining this to him, he aggressively responded by saying that statute didn’t apply in the city of Albany, which I knew wasn’t true, so i told him. He got more frustrated with me and began asking me “what I was gonna do about it?” Which is extremely threatening. Apparently, these tow drivers are taught to use their physical size and verbal aggression to scare women into paying them. What was he going to do? actually just steal my car with me in it? Scared he was actually going to try to tow my car anyways if I walked to an ATM - I had to call a friend to bring me the money. While I waited near my car, I was verbally harassed and asked if I was taking care of it multiple times. I paid him, then he laughed and said “take me to small claims court!” - Which I plan on doing, because this company appears to have a long history of appalling customer relations.

The worst towing company that you could possibly encounter, I wouldn’t even give them 1 star. They’re Rude and completely unprofessional. I was trying to read over the agreement I was about to sign and the guy at the front desk with the awkwardly long hair and weird teeth kept pulling it away saying I “wasn’t signing” so I barely got to read it because I was rushed. They took everything as a joke and thought the situation of them taking my car from the place I live at 7 am was funny. There’s also damage to my vehicle so if you encounter them hopefully it’s more pleasant than what I went through, I doubt it though.

My Family and i own a Body Shop and are constantly dealing with tow truck drivers with pick ups and drop offs. I am a firm believer in giving credit where credit is due. and i am happy to say that Osborne Garage showed up in a timely fashion , the driver Adam was extremely professional. he mad sure that the vehicle was loaded properly, and was also very conscientious about making sure no damage was caused by towing. Great Job! and thank you!

This garage is disgraceful. My car was towed on a Saturday night at approximately 1:45 AM by this garage. I went directly to the garage upon learning about my tow and arrived at around 4:00 AM. I was told I would have to pay $140 for the tow. I asked to see a paper copy of the bill for what I was being charged and the employee refused. He told me I would not get to see paperwork until after my payment, which would completely ruin the reason I wanted to see the paperwork in the first place. I told him I would not be paying without seeing the bill and asked to speak to the owner. I was told the owner would be in the office the following Monday. I was never told what time my car was towed and was not informed of any storage fees, because I was not given any paperwork. The next day, a friend of mine did some research on the garage and noticed they would be charging a $35 storage fee for every 24 hours that I didn't pay and retrieve my car. I went back to the garage and dealt with the same guy once again. However, this time he gave me the bill but wouldn't waive the storage fee. I think it was only fair to waive the storage fee since I was there the previous night ready to pay but was not able to because I was not shown the bill. However, I was told that the owner would be at the garage the next day and I could speak to him then. I went back to the garage on Monday to speak to the owner. When I arrived, I was told that the owner does not speak to any customers and my bill was final. I became aggravated as I being charged for storage when I had been there to pay that night because there was no bill and I was told I could speak to the owner, however, the owner would not speak to me. The office manager began cursing at my friend and I telling us to "Get the F**k out of her office". They slammed the door shut on us. The employees were inconsiderate, rude, disrespectful and seemingly hated their jobs. They showed no professionalism towards their customers and made the experience very unpleasant. This garage is definitely sneaky in their business practices and will try to rip people off for every last penny. The issue was finally resolved when I spoke with the one respectful employee at the shop. The man who sat at the desk who aided me in paying and getting out of there. When I got back to my car, there were three water bottles stuck into the holes of the rims of my tires. The worker man said it was because me and my friends left our water bottles there when we got out of the car, which was untrue. The employees obviously had problems with me and wanted to do whatever they could to mess with me. I never want to deal with this sketchy business again, and no one else should either.

This guy is an absolute dirt bag. He wrongfully towed my car from my apartment complex lot that I pay to be in… then he wouldn’t come to the lot to Let me show him where the parking pass was displayed in my car, before he “opened” at 10:30 despite my having an apt prior. Not only that, when I did get My car back there was damage to the rims. So all in all don’t use this guy if You don’t want to deal with a trash of the earth businessman.

Terrible. My car was towed and under a hold out of my control. They told me I would not have to pay for storage because of this hold. A few days later I get a letter in the mail saying I owe an outrageous amount. They were charging me for storage anyway. This is the kicker, they even added an extra 100$ to the original total for something they never specified when I asked them. They are rude and frustrating. They even sent an extra tow truck unnecessarily and refused to tell me why it was needed or how it helped because it didn't. They will rip you off at any turn and corner. Vile, untrustworthy, terrible, and scheming business. They tell you one thing one day and another the next. I have no choice but to take this situation up in a court of law. It may be safe to say that they are guilty of illegal activity and they need to be shut down.

Would give zero stars if I could. Towed my car. My mistake, parked in the wrong lot. Sign is all lies. No area code for the number. Wrong address for where they take it. Sign says $135 cash or credit card. Called and they said 243 cash or zelle only. Paid them and they sat in their truck in front of the exit and we couldn't leave until we got out and asked them to move. Absolute predators. At the very least fix the signage. Every complaint is the same incorrect signage and rude behavior.

I have never left a review anywhere but I MUST here! After towing my vehicle and having it for no more than an hour they charged me almost $300! Most disgusting company I have ever witness. Cash and zelle only because they are SUS! There is a sign that said $100 maximum and when I brought this to the towing guy’s attention he screamed at me “i don’t care what the sign says” and “i will tow your car again” they are absolutely disgusting do not ever work with this company!

One of the worst businesses I’ve ever dealt with. They gave me the run around when on the phone with them for 4 hours. They omitted critical information which had me in a run around for multiple days. If your car gets towed by them, then i’m sorry it will be more then a hassle to get it back.

I went to go pick up my truck that was illegally towed amd when I get there they threw tires all over my vehicle and around it. I have tire rub marks on my white truck, very upset and then they wanted me to sign the paper that said there was no damage done to ny vehicle and I said no and asked them to move the tires so I could get my truck out I was cursed at and screamed at and then the guy quit and Locked me inside the tow yard , I had to call the police to come let me out, tried to charge me double the price on the receipt I said no way ! Not only did my truck have damages on it but I'm missing 2 tools off my front seat, when I got to the tow yard my vehicle was unlocked. No reason it should be open I locked when I parked it. Terrible business absolutely horrible. Oh and they only accept Cash lol no credit cards cash business eh ? Sounds real legit to me...

Went there to get a tire rotation with basically brand new tires (10,000 miles) and the manager stated that they weren’t going to rotate my tires because they were bad tires . I let her know that I just bought the tires and she stated they weren’t going to do it. When I bought the receipt for the tires and mentioned I would be back to talk to the boss because I’m a regular customer the technician tried to fight me because they are wrong.(Stated he was about that life) whatever that means… Attached are the photos of my tires they refused to rotate and threatened bodily harm to me over.

Mistakingly parked in a private lot next to a restaurant and Wolff’s Biergarten because the signs were barely visible (above the level that headlights would illuminate, barely reflective, incorrect information on the signs, and half blocked by trees and weeds). When I called they were rude and told me there were ‘5 signs all around the lot’ but I even had to warn others away from parking there because it is not clearly marked. The guy on the phone told me it would be $243 which is not anywhere near what the signs say, and it would be cash or Zelle only which is so sketchy. The Maps address is completely different from where the car actually is and by the time I finally got there I had to call them again and wait for them to show up (while towing another car) to let me in. They tried to get me to pay and sign the receipt before even letting me in to see my car (and check for damages) but finally relented. On the receipt to sign they marked off ‘miscellaneous scratches and dents’ and ‘too dirty to note scratches and dents’ even though my car was not dirty. I’m pretty sure I now have a scratch on front passenger side that wasn’t previously there as well although they marked that it was already there. Who’s to say they don’t damage cars and then claim it was ‘already there’ after. Complete scammers.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with one of your phone operators, who spoke to me in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. In addition, my vehicle was improperly towed, and although I pursued the matter through the court system and won the case, the company has still not fulfilled its obligation to issue the payment ordered by the court. As a long-time community volunteer involved with several nonprofit organizations, including one that I lead. I am committed to ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability in services that affect the people of Albany. I am prepared to share my experience, along with the relevant documentation, through any appropriate channels. I also intend to inform the Mayor, my Assembly member, and my Senator, all of whom I know personally through my community work. The people of Albany deserve service providers who act with integrity, respect, and responsibility. Whether it is this company or any future contractor, it is essential that the individuals representing these services prioritize the well-being and safety of our community.

My car was towed as I mistakenly parked in a private lot adjacent to Wolf's Biergarten on Broadway in Albany. Driver charged me $135 for the tow plus a whopping $100 "gate fee" plus tax before he would release my car. Had to sign paperwork before I could enter the lot to inspect, then get, my car. Basic extortion. Driver checked off boxes for "too dirty to note scratches" and "misc dents, nicks & scratches" and "front spoiler scratched" -- none of which was true. The car is brand new (bought it a week ago) and went through the car wash that day. Poor signage in the lot -- entire stretch of wall with no signs and the closest one was posted on a wall behind several trees. No mention of gate fees and the address on the sign is wrong. Had to reroute my Uber ride to 1 Erie Blvd. BTW, the "call" for a tow occurred 6 minutes after I parked. My friend's vehicle was also towed. Total big money making scam. Obviously, I won't park there again. Do NOT trust this company. BEWARE!
