I love this place and the service that they give. They call you and talk to you about what going on. I am 68 years old; it is nice to have a place you can trust. They have work on my wife PT Cruiser 2001 and we have been happy with the work they have done. It rides good and the air is ice cold. Now I take my F150 2002 there and they did a great job fixing the coolant leakage and flush the system out. They also change my oil. They are willing to work with you. I felt very good about bringing my classic vehicle to overlay automotive and the place is very professional looking clean the people there very professional until want to get in my vehicle to drive it, home oil and whatever dirt from the mechanics all over my classic vehicle's front seat. Fuel completely empty but when I started it, it started great and drove off. Started cutting out, few miles down the road. Stopped at a gas station. Put half a tank of premium fuel in then drive off. It continuously kept cutting out. Wouldn't go very fast at all. I thought maybe stuff might have been floating around in the fuel tank maybe that was it, so I kept driving home. It just got worse from there. I kept in contact with the people head overlay and they said the same thing probably was or could be from the tank being so empty and then putting fuel in it. I looked at the vehicle description list of what they did and the carburetor was cleaned out but they never changed the fuel filter I'm not a mechanic but that was the main reason I brought it in there. I think we all entrust in our mechanics and hope that they care for the person that they're working for but I just don't feel that way, I feel taking advantage of because I paid them what they asked. They didn't fix it. I had it brought back to the shop and of course they're not going to fix it without charging more 🤑

Don’t ever do business with them! They were supposed to diagnose my car instead they did the same thing you can do at AutoZone and wanted to charge me over $100. Also on top of that they closed early and did not let me know so I drove over there in the rain to not even get my car. Terrible 0-10 do not recommend!

I love John Overly Automotive. They have helped me with so many emergencies as well as scheduled repairs. They were originally recommended by a tow truck driver about 7 years ago who said he had been impressed with their service and had started using them personally. Most recently, my vehicle was overheating so I rushed it in for emergency repair. They were very busy and had to keep it overnight, but told me that immediately. Early the next afternoon, John Overly called to tell me my vehicle was ready and there was absolutely no charge because they had replaced the same part about 2 years ago. They give a 36 month parts AND LABOR guarantee. I would not have realized it was under warranty unless he told me! I tried to get him to take something for their time, but he refused. Overley Automotive has consistently been the best repair location for our vehicles. When the Nissan dealer told us that the high pitched noise that the brakes were making on our 2017 Sentra was because the brake pads were infused with metal fragments and the noise was to be expected, I was VERY UNHAPPY with Nissan. Oh, and the dealer would not warranty the work if I had asked the dealer to put ceramic brake pads on the car. I asked John if he knew an answer and he said he would not only have the pads replaced with ceramic brake pads, he would warranty his work.

We came to these people 3 times. We had a 2003 Pontiac Montana that had an Intermittent problem of over heating. They said it was the belt and harmonic balancer. This was after calling us and letting us know it was no breaking for them. They “found” this issue and we paid $600+ and was back with in weeks. Then they said it was the thermostat. They charged us $721 for that. Then we paid it broke again. We took it to them and they told us it was a block or gasket. So tell me why we paid them near $1500 dollars over 2 months just for them to tell us is was an issue that was thousands of dollars to fix. We had to junk out van. Got $200 bucks. I am a mom and I am the only income. I worked hours of OT to pay them for them to keep charging be for something that would and didn’t fix the issue. I have not recovered since. I am a half a step from contacting the BBB. I hate to say bad thing about anyone but I just could let this go. The end result I took it to another mechanic who stated that it had a major combustion leak and that it had been there for a while.

Rather unhelpful and overpriced compared to other automotive businesses. The job was quoted at five hours for work that typically takes two to three, which makes it hard not to assume inefficiency rather than complexity. We were also charged a shop fee for items like cleaning rags and topped off coolant, even though we did not request coolant service and they did not know what type of coolant the vehicle uses. To make matters worse, they rushed us out when we said we needed the vehicle back and forgot to return our engine heat cover, forcing us to come back again. Overall, poor value for the cost and not a great experience...
