Paolo knows his vehicles. He will not do any unnecessary work. if your vehicle has a problem, he will do the work figure out the source. If you want any modifications he will make sure they are done correctly so the item is easily serviceable. A rare mechanic.

If you are new in town this is the best place to go... Very nice people. Paolo is very fair and friendly and really wants to fix your car. I was new to carlsbad area and paolo is the only place that did not want to rip me off by made up charges and expensive/ overpriced parts. Now I have been there a couple of times and everything fixed and leaved very satisfied with everything. I have done breaks, tires, starter, oil... here with paolo...

Honest and amazingly skilled mechanic!!!Paolo is an automotive miracle worker! I got myself into a real bind when I broke off an over-torqued spark plug in the cylinder head. This was a really challenging fix but Paolo persevered and kept at it where other mechanics would have just given up and decided to charge the customer an arm and leg to open up the cylinder head. Paolo successfully removed the spark plug without having to open up the cylinder head, saving me thousands of dollars! Paolo is honest, hard working and skilled. Very fair. I highly recommend him!

What an epic mechanic here! It’s rare to have somebody so honest, communicative and diligent. Not only did he fix issue I brought the car to him for, he diagnosed another issue that I wanted him to look at. Instead of charging me a gazillion dollars, he knew I was relatively handy and he gave me the knowledge how to fix it myself for $250. Which he could have charged $6,000. Please don’t hesitate and go to Paolo’s.

It's a small, very personalized auto repair shop that has handled everything from the routine oil change to esoteric console computer glitches! He's what all dealer shops should be. Except as an independent he isn't put out by the make or model you bring to him. Domestic, foreign, ICE, EV, he's helped us with all of it.

It's great to have found an auto repair shop that is reliable, efficient and honest. When I brought the car in Paolo took it for a spin and determined that it only needed oil and filter changes. Other repair shops wanted to do expensive work that was not needed. Paolo is very personable and treats each customer with respect. I will definitely have him service our cars and will wholeheartedly recommend him to others.

Do not bother bringing your car here. I had to deal with a little kid named Freddy that works their. He was very self conscious when we met and he did not seem confident at all. They gave me a quote for the parts that I needed. Very overpriced, so I went ahead and bought them myself. They wanted to charge me $900 for a part that I bought myself brand new for $450 at O'reillys.. what disappointed me the most about this shop is their dishonesty. They had me buy a brand new oil filter, air filter, and a gallon of coolant. But they did not install the filters nor use the coolant and they did not bother to return the parts to me either. They returned my car to me thinking that I would not notice. I went back and they had no good reason as to why they did not install the parts. They gave me back the filter. They had it in the back, same filter. All while this little kid Freddy tried to act tough by getting in my face. Poor kid has to slave away under a hood all day, I think he was letting his anger out on me.. none the less, dishonest shop.

I was gonna go 1 star, but they did hold on to my truck while I worked and saved up to pay for the work (took about a year). While Aaron was very courteous, his politeness doesn't make up for the sketchy work done. After rebuilding the engine, somewhere around $6000 later (I'm positive I was overcharged), it still wasn't passing smog. They kept it for another afternoon and miraculously produced a cert. I thought everything was good until I took it in for the next smog and it didn't pass. Turns out the check engine light bulb was either removed or disconnected, as well as a plethora of issues under the hood which basically tells me it was carelessly put together. Just good enough to run. So I spend another $1000 at another mechanic to resolve these issues. Do not trust this shop. Paolo que e isso? Fala com o teu gente irmão, por favor!
