Thanks, Salvador, for helping me with my problem on my 2001 Toyota Corolla. You were so kind and helpful and saved me some money. Paul 777 you have a wonderful crew and you yourself are a very kind person. I will always go to your auto repair for good and honest service.

Took our van to get looked at for the shaking while breaking and the squeaky noise in the engine. Everything was covered under their warranty since they fixed the brakes and belt last year. We didnt’t have to pay anything. We’re really happy with their service. Prices are affordable.

Oil change and wiper replacement. Quick, no appointment needed. Gave me a price over the phone. Honest and upfront. It was my first and definitely not my last visit. Highly recommend.

I had a lot of work done on my son's car, and this shop did a great job for a good price. I know it's hard to find an honest and trustworthy auto repair shop, but I highly recommend this shop. The lead technician, Salvador, strives to make the customer happy.

I've been coming to Paul 777 Auto Repair for a couple of years, mostly for oil & filter changes. Recently, I observed how they treated my 90-year old in-laws when their car needed front-end work. The Paul 777 team were *very* patient and explained everything clearly. Due to one of the issues, a rattling sound, being hard to pin-point, and then a replacement part not arriving till late, they told my in-laws that the work would be completed the next morning. I explained by phone that my in-laws would not be able to get into their house without their car (it is a long story that I won't go into here). The Paul 777 team had a short conference and then graciously agreed to work late to finish the job. They did a great job fixing the issues with my in-laws car, and my in-laws got to spend the night in their own home. What a relief! ;-)

He was great. Maybe a little more expensive than I could have paid elsewhere, but I chose the location because he seemed friendly and the big one, he is open on Saturdays until 3pm. I had my car towed there Friday evening, left the key in the lockbox, he diagnosed that I needed a new starter Sat morning, and by early afternoon I was driving again. I really didn't want to wait until Monday, because I make deliveries on the weekends as part of my income. Very happy with the service.

My 2006 Honda developed an exhaust leak rather suddenly. It is an older vehicle so I figured it was most likely just wear and tear. I had read good reviews on Paul 777 so I gave them a call and they let me know I could bring it right over! Upon arrival, a very nice lady at the counter took my info and the mechanics started inspecting my car right away. Much to my dismay, I learned that thieves had attempted to steal my catalytic converter. I was beside myself, knowing that replacement can cost a fortune! Luckily, the thieves must have been interrupted. There was only about a 1-2 inch saw cut through the exhaust pipe. The technicians at Paul 777 saved me a fortune! They have had a lot of experience with this issue. They were able to patch the damage right there on the spot while I waited. The cost of the repair was extremely reasonable and they had me back on the road in under an hour. I could not be happier with the level of service I received! They were very friendly, professional and most importantly, did not try to price gouge me! Paul 777 is my new go-to for auto repair!

Honest, experienced, talented mechanics. Need I say more? They are also reasonably priced. I was originally drawn to 777 by the fabulous reviews and the angel number 777. Good experiences keep me coming back. I've had a lot of work done, and I almost didn't want to post a 5+ star review (I want this business all to myself!). But, they've earned my trust, and at the age of 50, I know the difference between a good and bad auto mechanic. Bring your car here! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 7 stars!

Although we only got a diagnostic for a coolant leak the mechanic was extremely thorough in explaining everything wrong with the car and gave 2 different options to repair the vehicle. The vibe felt authentic. Unfortunately, I’m updating this to a 1-star review. I later took my car to another mechanic who quickly diagnosed the real issue: a faulty coolant hose, which only cost $15 to fix. The mechanic at Paul 777 had incorrectly diagnosed the problem as a cracked engine block and recommended a full motor replacement—an estimated $3,000 job. They showed me bubbles in a funnel connected to the radiator as proof of coolant leaking into the engine. However, after replacing the coolant hose, I ran the same test and saw no more bubbles. Clearly, the issue wasn't nearly as serious as they claimed.

Serviced my Mazda3 2013 and gave me a good price. They will provide parts and labor before servicing if you ask and they call if they discover anything you need to know about. For example my alternator belt was cracked and I didn't know. Their inspection is also fairly priced.

April 25, 2024: My 2009 Honda Odyssey has about 163,000 miles on it, and I was experiencing some unusual steering wheel vibration when driving. I also decided to get new front struts and a wheel alignment at this advanced mileage. Salvador test drove the van and thought the front brake rotors might be warped based on the vibration in the steering wheel, so the mechanic put in the new struts and new brake rotors, and then did the wheel alignment. The brake rotors were replaced at no cost under warranty. After a test drive, Salvador and the mechanic decided the steering wheel vibration was not corrected by the replacement of the brake rotors, so they began to look for other possible causes and eventually found a small abnormal movement in the right inner CV joint which connects the transmission to the CV axle. I came back to the shop the following morning and had the axle changed out for a new one. This corrected the problem. I am very pleased with the work that was done replacing the struts, the fact that I was not charged for the replacement of the brake rotors, and the diligent effort to track down the source of the steering wheel vibration. I also appreciated Salvador’s determination to show me the actual source of the vibration underneath the raised vehicle and the difference in the old and new axle parts after the old one was removed. There is a very friendly and helpful attitude in this shop that sets it apart from most auto repair shops. I highly recommend this shop, and especially Salvador. November 2, 2022: I was looking for a good auto repair shop since the one I had been using had raised their prices too high. I chose Paul 777 because of the good Yelp reviews. I took my 2009 Honda Odyssey in for an oil change and new front brake pads. I had my own Mobil 1 Extended Performance Oil and a Mobil 1 Extended Performance Oil filter. I only have my oil changed about every 10,000 miles. I also took my own high performance ceramic brake pads. Some auto repair shops insist on supplying the parts, but Paul 777 allows customer supplied parts. Salvador and Paul, who have been working together for many years, were the only ones working there. Salvador checked me in and took my information. He was very friendly and competent. Paul did the service on my vehicle. They were both very helpful and willing to answer questions, and I was very happy with the quick and efficient work done. Salvador showed me some heat-damaged spots on the brake rotors and explained why it would be prudent to replace those along with the pads I supplied. The price I paid for the labor and the rotors they supplied was very fair and reasonable. I will definitely be coming back to Paul and Salvador for my future auto service and repair needs.

This place is Awesome! I went in to get pricing on replacing my Headlights. I had received 3 Quotes between 450.00-850.00 on a 2015 Cadillac and I would have to leave car overnight. They completed job in about 35mins for 130.00. Unbelievable. Their Staff is Friendly, Efficient and Very Knowledgeable! Highly recommended! Thank you!!

I have taken multiple vehicles here, and Paul has always been extremely honest with me. I really respect that and his prices are far below the competition. I will keep coming back to Paul for all my vehicles.

I brought my own oil and filter and for $30 they did the oil change. They stated a front strut was leaking and needed replacing at a cost of 1500. I looked up Detroit Axel and ordered front struts (best I could find with 10 year warranty) for the 2015 acura. The cost for both front struts was $221.00. My buddy in Modesto who works as a mechanic did the install of the struts in 2 hours. He mentioned a shop might charge 3 hours for this job but no more than that. I can not figure out how Paul 777 came up with a price of $1500. This review reflects my experience at this shop. My age is 72. The 2 stars, well they gave me a good price on the oil change

Paul 777 has gained a customer for life, and I will be sure to bring all my family members cars there from now on. Replaced my water pump and did an oil change on my 6.4L Challenger all for an AMAZING price, allowed me to supply my own parts, and got it all done in just one day. They do great work and will always be my recommended shop for anyone looking to get their vehicle worked on. Normally I do my own work, but due to a motorcycle accident I was unable to, I no longer plan on doing any of the work myself with how affordable this shop is!!!

Went there to get my AC recharged, they were nice and quick and it cost $50 less here than at the other place I got quoted at! My AC works great now:) Just drive in when you need repairs, they’re good at getting you serviced as quickly as possible since they’re pretty popular in this area. They’re also comfortable in providing services in Spanish and Chinese if you need it. Hablan español allí. 他们也有会说中文的汽车修理工。

My engine cover had fallen off, so I went there to have them put it back on. Paul told me to just take it off and throw it away because it was “useless.” I tried to explain that I needed the cover, but he wouldn’t listen at all—he just raised his voice and insisted I throw it out. During the inspection, Paul found that my front right strut was leaking and said it needed to be replaced. The quote was $1,293, and he didn’t even tell me what brand of strut they would use. I went to another garage and got it done for $700, including mid-range struts, an alignment, and a one-year warranty. I’m not questioning their technical skills, but I do feel they judged me based on who I am. He assumed I didn’t speak English and, because I’m a woman, that I didn’t understand anything about mechanics and had no other place to go. After asking around, I realized I’m not the only one—another female friend in Roseville told me she had a very similar experience. For the first time, I felt discriminated against by people from my own community here in the U.S.

I took a used car here for a pre-purchase inspection and had a great experience! At the time of this writing, they have a $135 / hr labor rate which is pretty competitive. They had the whole inspection done within an hour and Elisa even hooked me up with a new customer discount. After the inspection, the mechanic, Salvador, took the time to explain their observations and provided me with an estimate for the repairs! Thanks Paul 777, your staff and mechanic were fantastic! I was able to walk away armed with an inspection to use in my car-buying negotiation.

Oh, my goodness! These guys saved us. Our car broke down on the way to LA from Truckee, with the check engine light on and 3 days til Christmas. They took the car in, got to it the next day and fixed not only the problem causing the engine light but replaced my drive belt, which I knew was old and cracking. We felt so grateful to find a shop that would get us in with our "emergency" situation. They communicated with us through the process and did a great job. Thank you Paul 777!
