stay away from this place! You think you can trust AAA but you can not. they ripped me off and ripped others off as well. The mechanic there is overworked and doesn't have time to spend on cars to find out what's truly wrong with them. I brought my daughter 's car in in September of 2024 for overheating issues. they told me it was the water pump. mind you the car was not leaking water visibly from the car. they said the seals were going out on it which they were but it was not the root cause of the overheating. I paid $1,300 to have that water pump replaced. 2 weeks later the car started overheating again. we took the car back since the water pump was under warranty but this time they said it was our engine fan. they said the engine fan must have worked overtime due to the water pump not properly working and that went out. $1,000 paid for this trip. 2 weeks later car started overheating again. now mind you, they said that they checked our engine and that there was no coolant leaking into the engine and that the gaskets were fine, both times when I took it in for the same symptoms of overheating the third time we took it back they said oh it's your gaskets. well at first I thought it was my gaskets because they didn't properly diagnose my car. I thought they said it was the water pump. when really it was the fan. I thought that they caused the damage to my engine, also let me add in after the first repair was done and then 2 weeks later the car still overheated the district manager. Jason O'Neill looked through all the the diagnostic notes that the mechanic put down and said himself that he did not diagnose it properly, so Jason O'Neill refunded my diagnostic fee.Now move forward to the third time it's back. I call Jason O'Neill and he informed me after he did some research that Mazda actually has an extended warranty because these cars have issues with warped gaskets after time to where the coolant will leak into the engine and cause overheating. Jason O'Neill advise me to call the Mazda dealer to try to make a claim to see if they can fix it for me. I called the Mazda dealer that I have taken that car to when I purchased it in May of this year. I've only had the car for 3 months. I took it there to get oil change so I decided to call them and tell them what was going on. The gentleman at the Mazda dealer ran my VIN number in their system he started to look at the notes and he informed me that the original owner to my car already tried to make a claim because he had taken that car to that Mazda dealer due to overheating issuesand that Mazda dealer told him that his engine was dead. They told the previous owner that that car which I now owned needed a new engine that there was coolant in the engine. The guy at Mazda told me that they did a pressure check which the guys at AAA said that they did a pressure check and found nothing. Mazda said when the original owner brought the car to them they did a pressure check. the pressure was low so they decided to dig deeper and found that there was coolant leaking into the engine. this all happens a month before I purchased the same car from another dealer unfortunately the previous owner was dishonest, went and sold the car to the car lot that I purchased it from ,my question to Mr. Jason O'Neill District Manager was, why didn't his mechanics find this? AAA said that they did a pressure test to make sure the engine was not affected by the overheating. They also stated that they did a test to make sure that there was not coolant in the engine. LIES. $2500 later and all within 5 weeks they said it was all the things WATERPUMP THEN FAN BUT IN ALL IT WAS THE ENGINE THAT THE Mazda dealer already told the previous it was shot! They never did a true diagnostic of the car that's overheating. they just seen a water pump seal that was wearing and they just assumed that was it. when I confronted the district manager Jason O'Neal of these newfound facts, he deflected and simply said he was about to go into a meeting and he didn't want to argue with me! DO THE RIGHT THING JASON O'NEIL

Needed a last minute car repair at my local AAA. They were able to fix it in the time frame that I needed and the repair came in for less than their original quote very happy with them

I took my 8 year old vehicle in last week for a Smog Test. Usman met me in at the bays and escorted me to the reception desk. I had an appointment, so there was no waiting. The entire appointment could not have been more pleasant. Two individuals asked me if I wanted water or coffee. Everyone was relaxed, warm and friendly. I don't think I was there more than 15 minutes. But it was an easy, comfortable visit. I was invited to return for oil changes. I will. Thank you!

I feel bad for my grandson, I suggested he take his vehicle to this location to get an alternator, battery, and belt replaced. We are members, and got the normal discount and 24 month. 2 year warranty. But after I checked the bill, I found they charged $435 for a rebuild alternator. We had checked the local parts houses and the cost for a new one was less than $300. The total cost to do this job was $1178. Which seems about 200 to 300 higher than it should be. Be careful if you use these guys. Check prices before they do the work.

Honest, Helpful, and referred to me by ANOTHER Auto shop! When a business delivers on a truly human level, I want to tell everyone—and that’s exactly what AAA Auto Repair did. From the first call to handing back the keys, Osmon provided honest, knowledgeable service and quickly diagnosed my son’s car. To say Chris went above and beyond is an understatement, even fixing an issue other mechanics couldn’t solve for over a year. No upselling, no nonsense—just real help at a great price.

The guys at Roseville Auto Repair Center went above and beyond with their help with our unique issue. Special thanks to Nicholas, Jonathon and Chris with roadside. My daughter goes to school at the University of Washington in Seattle and when she had a battery issue she called AAA to replace the battery on May 1, 2025. The technician who came out and replaced the battery actually installed the incorrect battery. We found this out when on our return home for summer break while getting gas we lost complete power to our vehicle. After about an hour of investigation we found the positive battery terminal was loose and the terminal could not be completely tightened because it was hitting the cap on the battery and could not clamp the entire post. The technician would have known this when replacing the battery. COMPLETELY BOTCHED JOB!! When I had roadside in California come out to replace the battery, they said they could not because it was a different club and they would not get reimbursed. This was the same excuse when I called AAA Washington state. I commend the guys at AAA Roseville (Nicholas, Jonathon and Chris) for doing the right thing for me and my daughter by going ahead and replacing the incorrect battery when AAA Washington could only say NO! Thanks Guys!!

I had my car serviced and had repairs done a few times at AAA Roseville and found the price to be high. I went to my previous service place in the Bay Area and the serve cost was almost $100 less. I did this twice and had the same experience. Putnam Toyota in Burlingame was less expensive. I was also told by AAA that I need new struts for almost $2000. I asked Putnam to check my struts and I was told they are fine. I read good reviews by other people übut I feel jibbed.

I’ve had excellent service and results at AAA Car service at the Galleria in the past. I thought I had found my place to get my vehicle serviced at last. My last appointment was a disaster. Scheduled a routine transmission fluid service. And diagnose a noise coming from my front suspension. Dropped my car off at 8:30 AM. Received a call a couple of hours later stating they could not duplicate the noise in my suspension. But, recommended maybe a ball joint repair. Could not guarantee that would get rid of the noise. Anyway, I decided to just get the transmission service. Called around 1pm to see how it was going. Said they are still working on it. Called again at 3 PM. Was told it would be done around 4PM. Showed up at 3:55PM to be told they still had one little thing to do. I asked what the little thing was. Was told it was the transmission service. As, they were just pulling my car in for service, at 4PM. I said forget it. I will pay for the diagnostic fee and take my car. They dropped the fee for the diagnostic and gave me my keys back. A wasted day. Nothing was done on the transmission. Which was what I mainly brought it in for. I must stress that I really liked this place. And others mays have a better experience. People there are genuinely nice too. Just way too busy and low on their priority list that day. In search for a new place.

They were able to immediately get my car. He came out while AAA agent was checking the car and. assisted me in finding the hood latch on my new car. When they gave me my plates he immediately put them on for me. The repair shop was attached so I was able to stay in the same building as I went through process of registering my new to me car.

I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. I thought everything went well until I was about 20 miles away. Every time the road had a dip or bump in it, I would hear a scraping. Then my tire pressure alert came on. It turns out all four of my tires were over inflated and each tire had a different psi, ranging from 36psi up to 39.7psi. As for the scraping, the front bolts of my skid plate were gone. The next day, I called at 8am and left a voice message to speak to someone regarding my concerns. About 3 and half hours later, I called back and was informed that the manager would call me later today.... it is now the end of day and I have NOT heard back from them.

I brought my vehicle to the AAA Roseville Galleria Blvd location on February 19, 2026 for an A/C issue and ultimately paid approximately $5,084 based on their diagnosis and repair recommendations. Only one actuator was documented as malfunctioning, yet I was advised to replace multiple actuators and the evaporator while the dashboard was removed under the explanation of “overlapping labor.” That recommendation significantly increased the total cost. After paying in full, the A/C still did not function properly and required additional intervention before it was corrected. Throughout the process, the explanation of the root cause shifted — actuators, evaporator, heater core, and at one point even a possible hose. The inconsistency in explanations, combined with the initial failure to fix the issue, raises serious concerns about diagnostic clarity. There were also conflicting opinions within the same shop. One advisor later questioned why multiple actuators were replaced when only one showed documented failure. A technician suggested the issue may have been less extensive. That level of internal inconsistency does not inspire confidence in the original scope of work. I obtained a fully itemized Chevrolet dealership estimate for comparable repairs totaling approximately $3,930 — over $1,100 less than what I was charged. The document clearly listed OEM part numbers, individual pricing, labor, and totals. Despite this, the store manager dismissed the estimate, even though it itemized parts and labor in essentially the same manner as AAA’s invoice. The difference was format, not substance. When I raised the pricing discrepancy, I was offered a $350 service credit instead of a refund. That does not meaningfully address a documented pricing gap exceeding $1,100. Because the initial repair did not resolve the issue, I incurred rental expenses. The store manager agreed in writing on 02/24/2026 to reimburse the rental. After I provided the Enterprise receipt, I was later informed it was not located and had to resend a copy. As of this review, reimbursement has still not been processed. Meaningful resolution at the store level has been difficult. The store manager was frequently unavailable during afternoon hours, and escalation beyond the store became necessary due to limited availability and dismissive communication. To date, there has been no outreach from the district manager or a corporate customer relations representative, and the matter remains unresolved. Although the A/C is now functioning, the combination of a $5,000+ repair that initially failed, shifting explanations, internal disagreement among staff, dismissal of documented comparative pricing, lack of reimbursement follow-through, and limited management accountability has significantly eroded my trust in this location. Photos show the Chevrolet dealership pricing in comparison to AAA’s invoice. The dealership quote reflects OEM parts and standardized labor. The primary difference is scope of actuator replacement and OEM pricing.

I had a wonderful experience as a first time customer. Special thanks to Nick H. who helped me with a same day smog check appointment/test. He clearly explained the process and at checkout reviewed all the results. Nick went above and beyond to remind me that I could pay my DMV renewal fees in the same visit. Paid the fees and received the new sticker right then. I was THRILLED! Fantastic experience all the way around! Thank you!

I recently brought my car in for a check engine light diagnosis, and the shop not only addressed that issue but also identified and replaced the fuel pump, which needed to be done. I appreciate that they caught the problem. However, the service fell short on reassembly. Replacing the in-tank fuel pump requires removing the back seat, which is standard. When I got home, I noticed the back seat was not properly reinstalled. It was loose, not fully locked in place, and the seatbelt buckles were tucked underneath instead of accessible. This left the rear seat unsafe and unusable until my boyfriend manually secured it (though it’s still not as secure as it should be). The technician, Chris Naylor, performed the repair but did not take the time to put the interior back together properly. This is basic post-repair courtesy, especially for a job that involves disassembling customer-accessible areas. It’s disappointing and feels careless, as it’s not the customer’s responsibility to finish the mechanic’s work. I would have expected the vehicle to be returned in the same condition it was received (or better), with everything reassembled and tested. This experience has made me hesitant to return. Potential customers should be aware that while the repair work itself may be competent, attention to detail on reassembly is lacking.
