WORST PLACE I EVER BEEN TOOO.....STAY FAR FAR AWAY......went to get work gone on my classic car he did a rush job on some things that didn't even need replacing plus charged me $15 for gas he say he put in my car when my car already had gas when I dropped it off one of his worker broke my front seat so now I cant move my seat .On top of all of that he was trying to get the title for my car because he was trying to sell it to someone else just all around bad business .I would never ever let them touch my car again period.

So much bad stuff happened at this shop, to long to list... So for the complete story go to: paylessautorepairsucks.c…... The short version: Payless Auto Repair (Pflugerville) charged 735.85 for a brake job, had the car 6 months, after 6 months the brakes were still totally non-functional, (as in... the pedal bottoms out on the floor and doesn't stop) Then the owner Ray, ran my classic 1979 Gremlin into the garage wall - doing several thousand dollars worth of damage... and refused to take responsibility... He said it was the car's fault because the brakes didn't work... and was belligerent as all get out yelling at me- He actually said he was going to sue me for the damage to his garage... after he was supposed to fix the brakes... and he wrecked my car...unbelievable! Then, he wouldn't give me the keys until the cops forced him to. He said I owed him $65.00 for a consultation fee... where he had to take my car to a different mechanic's shop to figure out how to fix it (which he never got around to doing). Obviously, as a mechanic, he was totally inept... and then there's the whole wrecking my entire fromt end and refusing to take the blame thing. I had my windshield replaced this year. They did a great job. Also, I thought it was leaking several months later when I found water on my passenger side floor board . They came the same day i called to check it out. They figured out it was not the windshield causing the problem but they still stayed and helped me find the source of the leak. These guys are the best!

When I pull up the owner was scared to come to see what the problem was with me truck. Stayed 5-10 feet away from Never touched my truck then told me it was $70 to check it. Then told me I would have to drive my truck 100 mile before he can see all the codes. Racism is still active in the world. Stay away from this place and man this is not for place for ppl of color. So was this type of treatment because I was a black male? We ain’t going nowhere believe me!!!!! If you was scared you should have never came to our country

Do not use him. Extremely poor customer service even for long time customers who trusted him with a lot of business. He did a radiator replacement that failed 3weeks later and when we could not afford to have it towed from Huntsville to Pflugerville he basically told my wife and I we were stupid and let ourselves get ripped off, by the mechanics in Huntsville who had to get a new radiator to replace the one he had installed incorrectly. How much of the $700+ dollars we paid him, did we get back for the mistake he made? $100.00. I will warn anyone and everyone I know to stay away from Payless Automotive in Pflugerville.

Went in to get my starter motor replaced. He installs customer parts if wanted which most shops don’t do. Usually don’t go to shops but to replace my starter the engine needed to be lifted. RAY WAS AMAZING, he’s the owner of the shop and is a genuine old school mechanic who keeps things totally transparent and he keeps you updated on your any road bumps or issues they run into during the service. When my truck was getting worked on for 2 hours we had great conversation in his office. On top of that I got this done for $280, next cheapest place was $350. I couldn’t recommend Ray and Payless automotive any higher!
