My 2001 truck would not start. It was in my garage. I really needed to have it fixed so I could go to work on Monday. I took a chance and contacted John at 512Jpestrada mobile mechanic 24hr. I had never used a mobile mechanic before. They sent Pete out, right away. He diagnosed the problem. It was late in the evening, so he called and ordered the parts. He spent the next day replacing my starter, ignitions coils, and spark plugs. My coils were factory, so really old. Even though my starter has tested as being good at AutoZone last week, he took it and the battery out and got them tested. The battery was good, but a part fell off the starter when he took it off. The job was finished the same day! I could not be happier with my experience! I would recommend Pete and John to anyone who needed to have their vehicles repaired. ❤️😊🎉

The axle on my van broke at an intersection and by some miracle John just happened to be behind me. I did a simple google search for a mobile mechanic and came across John business page. I reached out and let him know what I was needing done on my teenage son car, he got back to me quickly with a very reasonable quote compared to what the shop was trying to charge. We bought the parts and scheduled the repair. Pete is who worked on the car and he was great! Communicated with me that he had another job ahead of me but would let me know when he was on the way. He showed up and completed the repair in no time we needed a headlight ballast replaced. I was worried that we didn’t order the right part but he said we did and it was all good. GREAT SERVICE!!!! Will book again & refer people as well! He was Veryyyyyyyyyyyy patient with me. I ended up getting the wrong parts he waited for me, helped me make sure I got the right ones. After all that I had a lock on one tire. I didn’t have the lock, I had to get the lock. He came back to fix that tire brake & rotor with no problem. He even replaced a piece that I was missing for my AC.

We called John on Christmas day when our car was making a strange thumping sound and no other mechanic would answer the phone. We needed our car to get home (SA) and had ruled out the tires being the problem. We were concerned that the sound was coming from the rear axle based on the tire shop’s quick evaluation, so had the car towed from there to a relative’s place in the Austin area. He and his buddy came first thing next morning, diagnosed the problem, explained it to us while showing that the rotor was wearing down unevenly, and told us it was safe to drive home and fix at my regular mechanic (one of the parts was still under warranty so we took advantage of that). Great service and value for the money, especially if you don’t want to spend money with a tow or risk driving your car if it might be unsafe.
