I needed to sell my 2017 Tacoma, so I went online and got a couple different offers. I also received a text from Lisa at Peltier Ford wanting to know how much I was asking for the truck. I told her what my highest offer was and she said she would beat it. We drove an hour to Longview from Nac and met Lisa. Both her and her GM inspected and drove the Tacoma. We were in and out of there in about an hour with a check in hand! Lisa and the staff at Peltier were professional and did not waste a second of our time.

This dealership is absolutely pathetic. I went today to research my next vehicle, and was basically snuffed off because I wasn’t buying today. This is the second time I’ve had a horrible experience dealing with sales at this dealer. The first time was just a few months ago, and guess what.. I bought a car at another dealer right after because of the terrible salesman. Trying to give a second chance here as I get ready for the next purchase. It is completely reasonable to research a $60-70+k car before purchasing, not everyone wants to just walk in and buy when there are so many options and you need to pick what’s right for you. This SECOND experience solidified I will NEVER buy a car here. YOU SHOULD NOT EITHER! The sales person made it blatantly obvious he had no desire to help and that I should get out of there. He made little attempt to find the right vehicle to look at(came to look at 2) and brought them with no gas to actually drive them. Told me verbatim that I should “drive this one he’s pulled up or come back on a day I’m ready to actually purchase”, as the one I was actually interested in was too “inconvenient” to pull up. They do not care about their customers, they don’t care about building relationships, and will do nothing but the old worn out sales tactics that NO ONE enjoys. Absolutely horrific dealer to deal with unless you enjoy hating a sales experience and buying a car. For the dealer… Teach your employees better Peltier, long term you’re driving towards a failing business model and closed dealership. And didn’t y’all already get bought out this year with the prior name on this dealer having horrible reviews..? The writing might be on the wall, I would take a strong look if you care about staying in business. **1/2 Update. I would like to note that I went to another Ford dealership, Waxahachie Ford, who was ABSOLUTELY wonderful to work with. NOTHING like Peltier! You know what their good sales manners got them? A sale! I wasn’t planning on buying just yet but I went ahead and picked up a brand new F150 Platinum from them! Once again y’all, avoid Peltier like the plague!

I recently purchased a new vehicle from Peltier Ford. My salesman, Hudson, was outstanding!!!! The dealership is in Texas and I live in Colorado. Hudson is easy to talk to and is a straight shooter. He was able to answer all of my questions and very understanding of me being out of state. When the vehicle arrived at the dealership, he sent me pictures of it and made sure everything was as promised. I flew into DFW a couple of days later and when I arrived at the dealership, my Ranger was ready for me in immaculate condition. I can't imagine not reaching out to Hudson for future vehicle purchases even though I am in Colorado. Hudson and Peltier Ford are top notch and I would recommend them to anyone I know. Maybe I will get a response this way! This is an email I have sent to the General Manager of this Peltier dealership. Good afternoon, My name is Rebecca Padron and I am a customer that bought a 2024 Ford Explorer in July of 2024 from your dealership. I have recently noticed that the struts on my Explorer are starting to go out causing knocking and clicking noises in the front end. I contacted the service center and have spoken with Matt 2 times. I have explained to him that I need a vehicle to drive if I am going to bring mine (which is under warranty still) to get fixed. I spoke with Matt last Friday the second time explaining my situation on 1/16. Matt assured me that he would call me back with information on a loaner vehicle that there is a "new program" that you guys are initiating with fleet vehicles. Ok great! I never got a call back. He also informed me the first time I spoke to him that there is a 35 person wait list for a loaner vehicle. First that is a crazy amount of people waiting. What kind of mess have you gotten into?? Second, I have to still have a car to get to work while mine is being fixed. I feel like giving 2 chances to resolve this is good enough until I contacted you. I am highly disappointed in the "service" I have gotten to get my car in to be fixed. Honestly, I never would have had issues at Fairway Ford in Henderson like this. I am going to hope that their dealership will help me in this situation. I just thought you should know the poor job that your staff is doing.

I traded in my beloved 2017 Ford Edge (after 5 wonderful years) due to an engine issue that I could not fix. I came in needing to figure something out fast and Hudson worked with me with what little I brought to the table. I have no idea how he did it but he was able to get me into something newer and within my price range. The gentleman that helped me with the financing paperwork was also a tremendous help as was the lady who helped me figure out all the bells and whistles of my new car before I left the lot. At no point in time did I feel rushed to make a decision, or as though I wasn’t worth helping out since I didn’t have a huge down payment to work with. Everyone made me feel like I was making the best decision at the right time. To boot, Hudson checked on me two different times after the purchase to check in and even helped me get scheduled for a service appointment (wiper hose reconnection). To shoutout the service department, those ladies who helped out were top notch! Again, I never felt like I was bothering them, or that my issue didn’t matter. They took care of the situation and were so kind the entire time. While I love my car now and have no intention of trading in at the moment, would I go back to Peltier Ford or refer anyone to them? I do not recommend this dealership at all! My husband and I are looking at purchasing a new vehicle and he talked to a saleswoman about a truck we were interested in and they were running numbers back and forth over the phone just to get an idea. We gave her our info for a SOFT CREDIT CHECK and stated multiple times that we only wanted to do a soft credit check to start just to get an idea of what the numbers would look like. The lady he talked to confirmed that they would only do a soft pull but they ended up doing a hard pull instead even though we never agreed to that and very specifically said we did not want to do that yet. We live over an hour and a half a way and had not even seen the vehicle in person yet (and now we won’t because we will not be using this dealership because of this). We just wanted an idea of the numbers before possibly making the trip out there. And then when we complained about how they ran a hard pull on our credit that we did not consent to, they stopped responding to us. No apology or anything. We are very upset at this dealership and how they do business. If anyone is thinking about wasting their money here, don’t. Run while you can before they hit your credit without permission!
