I book the oil change and wheel alignment at pepboy Kent WA location, because my area pepboys were permanently closed business. So I had to drive 25 min from home. I want to talk about manager Tony. When I said I have life time wheel alignment for free, his attitude start changing and tried to find the excuse why honda civic is not available to do the alignment. He kept asking 1 sentence of English " your car is low to do the alignment' so I said I don't get what you are saying. I went to pepboys and did alignment many times, will have no issue. But he kept saying u need translation turn the phone with translation. I said no it is not a English problem, customers don't have knowledge of cars that is why we came here. But he kept saying if you don't turn on the translation je cannot help me. During the argument, technician came and look the car it is available to do it. So I said Tony you need to ask your tech who is expert not me. I said stop being a racist. He said u need leave the store right now. We both said bad word and I left. He doesn't want to give district managers phone number so I will leave all the comments all the app available, one day maybe district or coperate people will see it.

I won't go back- and I have s I ent at least $2,000 Tires at Pep Boys in Kent. I had a nail in my tire. The guy in office just stays on the phone- meanwhile the 3 guys in the garage can't even look at it. I went somewhere else- they treated me so much better!

Got an oil change. I liked that I could make an appointment online, I got in quickly and knew what the price range would be upfront. Only took about 45 minutes. I was treated well. I would have liked to have someone go over what was done during inspection, what was found (if anything). I like being informed about the service I'm getting. Overall, I got my oil changed and that's what I wanted to do.

I had 2 flat tires this morning. I called towing and searched for who could sell me tires and who was open at 0730. I wet to site, ordered my tires and set my appointment for 0930. I arrived met Tony and he sold me 4 tires for less than I anticipated. Long story short Alejandro got me in and out in an hour. They are the best and I will be back for other services. So I was told about pep boys from a family member never went through pep boys ever so I was willing to try them out for the first time when it comes to my maintenance and vehicle needs. I made my appointment online for Friday the 30th 2026 January It was the weekend when I made my appointment and they were closed Sunday so I was not able to call to speak with a actual person until this morning. I just called at first the line was busy so I called back and was able to get through to a customer rep. Not only was the customer rep or the front desk guy whoever answered the phone not only was he rude argumentative disgusting attitude for it to be 10:00 a.m. he was already being rude and distasteful towards the customers. He tried to blame the phone for him being rude I guess claiming the phone got bad connection static he couldn't hear me. Not to mention he called me sir more than one times I am a female I corrected him and told him I am a ma'am I'm not a man he said Oh I'm sorry I'm just going by the voice He sound to be a older Mexican guy from the tone of his voice very very very rude I was not able to even have a conversation with him I explained to him how I'm a first time customer that got referred through a family member. I have money My bag is secured and good!!! I told them that I was trying to come and spend money I need all four of my brakes done and rotors turned. Unfortunately I was not able to complete the conversation via phone call with him due to him not trying to let me talk he literally was trying to argue with me and I don't know where they do that on the phone in person especially for first-time customers and clients potentially return and regular clients when I choose a good mechanic and find one I stick with them for years. Only reason why I even inquired and was willing to take a chance with pep boys kent location I live right down the street and once again my family member told me that they were good, My family was clearly mistaken. I'm for sure never step in foot in a pep boys especially the one in Kent They are wild crazy and off the hook up there whoever they got answering their phone line they probably need a reevaluate their decisions and options He's literally running customers off whoever the Mexican dude was Kent location 10:00 a.m. this morning

Was very quick and professional, went way out of his way to make sure I understood the issue, what he did, and what to expect moving forward. Talked to me as someone who didnt know about cars instead of throwing out a bunch of car words i wouldnt understand. Did not try to sell me anything i didnt need like alot of other mechanics try. My car was dropped off after 5pm on a Sunday and he had it ready for me to pick back up by 1030am on Monday. Was very honest about the issue and didn't try to take advantage of me especially being that I am a younger female that's 14 hours from home. Very impressed, would definitely come here again if I lived in the area. Wonderful service. Thanks Tony!

I took my truck to a local dealership for brake issues that should’ve been covered under warranty since it’s a new truck with only 25k miles. The dealership told me my rotors were warped and quoted me $1,300 just to replace the front brakes, claiming it wasn’t covered because it’s a “wear and tear” item. I immediately declined and called around for other quotes. Pep Boys quoted me a great price—way better than the dealership’s ridiculous quote—and they did an excellent job. My brakes feel perfect now with no issues at all. Highly recommend this Pep Boys for honest service and quality work!
