The service at Pep boys was wonderful. I made an appointment for 11am, my car was serviced on time. Mr. Victor was my advisor for my vehicle. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. He made me aware of the other problems with my vehicle and he made sure I understood the services I needed. I would recommend going to pep boys in Waldorf for your car needs. Mr. Victor will make sure your taken care of correctly. I will definitely return for my car services/ repairs. He made the whole experience stress free, because I have been having so many car problems lately. I’m and glad I found Mr. Victor, It nice to have a service advisor that actually cares about your car running correctly and not just trying to take your money for services that will not help the actual problem. Honest, helpful and genuine person. Ask for Mr. Victor, tell him Ashley sent you!!

Victor was amazing !!!! I came all the way from Seattle Washington and got a flat tire. I called Victor first thing in the morning he told me come in and I would be next. It only took 45 minutes or less to fix. He was so friendly, amazing customer service!! I was in and out and back on my way to Hampton University. Thank you so much Victor for being so kind and amazing. We need more people in the world like yourself. I hope God continues to bless you!!!

Anytime I need tire service I go to the Pep Boys in Waldorf MD. A recent visit & the customer service was stellar as always. They were backed up w/repairs, but they accommodated me and made my wait reasonable. They always do an outstanding job. I will forever use this Pep Boys when needed.

Looks like there’s a new team and manager now. I’ve had services done here before with the old crew, and honestly, it was just okay. But today I met the new manager, and he really made a good impression. He seems honest and knows what he’s talking about. He gave me a fair estimate based on what I needed, and his attitude was great—super friendly and easy to talk to.

I took my Honda Accord to the Pep Boys in Waldorf because my battery would not hold a charge. They did a $100 diagnostic and said that oil was leaking into the alternator from the valve cover gasket. They said they needed to replace the alternator. When I picked up the car, the check engine light was on and it was not on when the car was dropped off. The attendant said they only do the work that is initially brought the car in and would not attend to other issues even after seeing it during the diagnostic. That's insane! When I drove the car, it jerked each time the gears changed. I took the car to Honda and they told me that Pep Boys misdiagnosed the leak. Honda said that the oil was leaking from the Front Spool valve. Now I have to get that replaced for $1040 or the leak will damage the new alternator and cause damage to the engine. I filed a claim against Pep Boys for the cost of the repairs so that I can get the correct issue resolved. Do not take your car to Pep Boys! They are dishonest and do poor quality work.

Full set of tires bought (on a buy 2, get 2 promotion) and installed by the professionals at Waldorf Pep Boys. Although we started a little behind schedule and the waiting area is being actively renovated, the job was done quicker than expected and the service discounts made it well worth it to use Pep Boys. Hoping to get a lot more life out of my new Coopers as opposed to the Arroyos I got last time from Mavis.

The work done was great. This facility in Waldorf Maryland is currently under renovations. Therefore, there were no bathroom facilities or TV for waiting customers. Pep Boys service desk representatives were very courteous and knowledgeable when explaining the service work being done or answering questions of concern.

If you go to Pepboys in Waldorf, MD, please see the manager Mark. He provides exceptional customer service. He is very kind and makes customers feel very welcomed from the time they walk in the door until they leave out. He meets and cares about the customers needs. He will let his customers know if anything is wrong with your vehicle. He’s very detailed and informative. Walking in Pepboys and seeing him there puts a smile on my face and gives me the assurance that everything will be taken care of. Being a customer at Pepboys for years, I have never encountered a manager like him. Major changes has been made since he’s came on board in a positive aspect. So glad he took over!

I recently visited Pep Boys and left extremely disappointed with the service, particularly from the manager. His customer service skills are practically nonexistent, and his attitude makes the entire experience frustrating. Let me be clear, he was not rude. He spoke to me straight. However, On multiple occasions I’ve come in for something simple like air in my tires, and he made it a point to remind me that it was only a “courtesy,” even though the tires were purchased there. He even refused to check all four tires on my wife’s truck because they were “too busy,” and would only do one. Most recently, I was told that an oil change at 10 a.m. on a Saturday would require leaving my vehicle overnight, and that they still couldn’t guarantee it would be done—even if I left it for the full day. Being a service advisor at Pep Boys I remember trying my best to help customers regardless of the constraints that came with the job. Maybe it's a location thing, but the Pep Boys in Fayetteville NC took care of its customers. This location seriously needs better management and a refresher on basic customer service.

Great Technicians, Frustrating Scheduling I scheduled my appointment three weeks in advance specifically so it wouldn’t interfere with my job, but I’ve now had to reschedule three times. Each time, I was told either a technician was unavailable, they didn’t have the right technician on hand, or I needed to move the appointment again. While the staff is capable and the work itself gets done properly, the scheduling and staffing issues make the experience frustrating and unreliable. Pep Boys really needs to improve their appointment management and internal coordination. I want to trust this location, but the constant rescheduling makes it difficult.

Great price for tires. Manager was terrible. Unknowledgeable about the way his operating system worked. One asked why there was a difference between the in shock price and online price for the same work booked online. He told me there were hidden fees that I had to accept and that he would not give me a discount and he got frustrated when I asked for clarity. He even tried to make me leave. A lot of back and forth made him frustrated. At the end, the price automatically reverted to the internet price. So all the back and forth with the manager because he didn't know how his own system worked. Other than the terrible check-in experience, the other employees were great. They were quick and courteous. Looks like they're putting in a new waiting area but right now it's still under construction

Bought four tires via the “buy 3 get 4th free + free installation” promo. Should’ve been under $600 with tax, came in to my appointment and they tried to tell me it was going to be over $700. Telling me that it’s because the promo was no longer available, the promo is available until January 31st, it’s the 22nd of January. Hard pass. The receptionist also told me I should call to confirm that the tires are in stock even though I ordered through the website. Just go anywhere else.

Terrible customer service & recovery! Incompetent establishment & mechanic who is unaware of what is required for a particular service before performing the service even though they have full knowledge of the cars make, model & year & the customer provided other specifics. One price is given before starting the service with this knowledge & then a completely different price ( upcharge) after starting to work on your car. This is in an effort to put you in a compromising position so you will agree to the upcharge. The onus is on the shop, employees & mechanic to provide appropriate pricing for services & provide documentation before starting to work on the customers car.

Went there on Wednesday to have my tire plugged. By Thursday morning the tire was flat again. I arrived on Thursday again to have them fix the problem and they told me they were too busy! $30 for a half ass job. Do not waste your time or money! Incompetent employees who have no clue what they are doing!

I recently had the most pleasurable experience at Pep-Boys. It all began on Wednesday when I needed a set of tires for my car. I arrived about an hour before closing, and the young lady who assisted me was extremely polite, patient and professional. I was only able to get three tires because the fourth needed to be ordered for the next day. Even after assisting me, I decided to purchase a set of tires for my son as well. Now with only 15 minutes before closing- she still maintained the same level of patience and excellent customer service. The following day, I called to get my tire and it did not come in, The staff was very apologetic and they quickly called me when it came in as well as scheduled me for my tire to be placed on. I needed both tires replaced. The gentleman who assisted me -possibly the manager-went above and beyond to accommodate me. His willingness to assist made a difference. Overall, I appreciate the exceptional service, I received from everyone at this location. I would absolutely return and refer others. Thank once again for outstanding customer service.
