If you're considering getting your car serviced here, I strongly recommend avoiding this place. The mechanics don’t seem properly qualified and rely on trial and error rather than accurate diagnosis. They often assume a part is faulty and claim the problem is fixed without identifying the actual root cause. Additionally, they tend to overcharge for parts and have even canceled scheduled appointments without notice. Overall, it’s not a reliable or trustworthy service experience

Listen, no one likes spending money on tires and oil changes, especially in this economy and I get it where it could be frustrating when somebody wants to follow proper policy and procedure and you think it’s in your best interest to skew the information to fit your own personal narrative because you’re not financially stable enough to pay for it. And you don’t fully understand what’s going on because your not a car guy, I get it, I’ve been there. That’s retail. But when you have guys like Mitch, Jakob and Sean helping you out, it does suck a little less. Plus they have the best deals on tires

Michael and Juan were amazing with the educating the customer and providing the service to the car. They also did a courtesy check on all the other parts and showed me some needed attention components. I had a balance on my Audi Q5. The issue is gone as well. Thank you!

I can’t thank the people at pep boys enough! Called around 6:30 (30 minutes to close) because I found a screw in my tire, they quickly got my car in and wheel fixed incredibly quickly! Thank you pep boys again for fitting me in on such a tight schedule!

I am regularly impressed with the service, customer service, and pricing at Pep Boys in Nashua. I have been all over, dealerships, auto shops, etc., nowhere have I gotten such great service and pricing than at this location. Thank you Mitch, Sean and team!

Didn’t know what was going on exactly, so I made an appointment and brought it in. They did an inspection and took my car for a drive and didn’t find anything wrong. They did not charge me for it. As a female doing this on my own without knowing a ton about cars it can be nerve wracking, but I felt very respected. Will be coming back for my next appointment!

My first visit to Pep Boys went smoothly. I brought in my son's car with a nail leak and was in and out in 90 minutes, no appointment needed. The staff, especially Mitch, were friendly and professional. Thanks to the team for helping my son and his family get back on the road safely sound!

Woke up today to a low tire warning with the cold weather. It didn't resolve in a short drive so called Pep Boys Nashua as soon at it opened. They answered right away and got me in within a half hour. Matthew, Mitch and Juan inspected my tire, checked the air in all for me and got me on my way. I appreciate the quick and kind service. I will be back. Thanks!

Not enough technicians, stressed out manager. Also, the website should not let you schedule appointments if they are only to get trumped by walk-ins. Makes no sense. If you book apt you should call ahead and see how backed up it is. On the plus side, everyone I encountered there is courteous despite being overwhelmed.

Zero Customer service! Felt sloppy and forceful. I scheduled a appointment for a quick and easy tire rotation and after being told they couldn't get to my vehicle until hours after my scheduled appointment time. They eventually called me to inform me they wouldn't be able to complete the tire rotation unless I purchased 4 new tires and new front springs. The tires still had plenty of tread on them. When I told them I wasn't able to purchase the tires and springs they informed me they couldn't do anything for me and told me to come get my vehicle. At no point did anyone attempt to help me understand or provide any customer service at all. Horrible experience. I would never recommend this place to anyone. This place screams sleazy sales tactics

Huge, huge thanks to Remy and the staff at the Amherst Street Pep Boys. Long story short out family was in a huge jam after our van's valve stem broke off in the middle of snow storm on the eve before a big family event we needed to get to. Remy went above and beyond, and he and the boys got the tire repaired first thing the next morning. Get Remy on a management training program/promotion/raise cuz he's an employee Pep Boys doesn't want to take for granted. In this automated age, he delivered first class customer service. We will be back. Sean

Ordered tires on website on a Monday, made an appointment for Sunday of the same week, website showed tires in stock. I received a call from Mathew the day before my appointment stating the tires were not in stock anymore. Mathew told me they were very understaffed and because of black Friday sales the tires sold out. Even though I reserved a set 5 days before. He asked if I wanted to order some and I said sure. He then told me he would call me after he called the 30 other clients waiting for tires. I decided not to move forward not because I didn't want to wait for the tires but Mathew gave me the sense that he didn't want my business since it was an inconvenience I wanted to spend money at his store and he was very short staffed.

I booked a last minute oil change and was helped by a few very knowledgeable and thorough gentlemen. They noticed my engine coolant was low and ended up staying late to ensure that my vehicle was taken care of and took the time to explain what may need to be addressed down the line in layman’s terms. Will definitely be coming back for service in the future!

I had gone on a day that was not staffed well so my appointment took way longer than expected which is not a big deal for me (also not the reason for a 3 star review) since i had nothing planned for the day. However, while i was sitting waiting the guy who checked me in came over and told me i need new rear brakes (i had all my brakes done the day prior to this appointment) comes to find out he gave me information about the wrong car. everything else went smooth until i realized my car hadn’t been in the shop for a half hour to 45 minutes because it was done and just sitting outside, it wasn’t until one of the mechanics had come in also notice my car was still sitting outside and said something to the advisors. lastly, they never calibrated my tpms system to my car so i drove all the way back home with my low tire pressure light on and stopped by my local mechanic and we realized it just wasn’t calibrated. when i made my appointment online the price i was given was drastically different than the price i made at the end of my service. other than that, the employees working were very nice and despite being understaffed the work was for the most part done well.

I want to start by recognizing the outstanding efforts of Shawn, the Assistant Manager, and Mathew. Both were professional, responsive, and genuinely worked hard to resolve an issue that should never have escalated as far as it did. Their communication, patience, and willingness to advocate on my behalf were truly appreciated, and they represent the best of customer service. Unfortunately, my experience was ultimately overshadowed by severe disappointment with the regional manager’s decision. A mistake was made by the company, yet I was told it would only be corrected if I agreed to cover their labor costs. Being asked to pay for labor to fix an error that was not mine is unacceptable and undermines the goodwill Shawn and Mathew worked so hard to build. While the local team did everything within their power to help, the lack of accountability at the regional level left a very poor final impression. I sincerely hope leadership reconsiders how situations like this are handled, because customers should not be penalized for company mistakes.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the level of "service" provided today at the Nashua, NH Pep Boys on Amherst St. I made an appointment online two days prior for 8 am. It was confirmed. Today, I show up at 7:50 am and get my keys to the person working the counter at 8 am. He then tells me that the technicians haven't even arrived to the building yet! This was an appointment! I then sit and watch my car sit in the parking lot until 8:30 am. Why was my time so disrespected? Why did you take an appointment you could not honor?! I'm very upset. This isn't an experience I'd like to repeat and certainly don't want my friends and family to go through either. Also, your technicians are either lying to you or filling out the "courtesy vehicle inspection" incorrectly. How do I know this? I rolled in on a spare tire on the driver side rear, inflated by me to 60 PSI per the label on the spare. Check the inspection. This doesn't line up at all and they sent that before putting new tires on. Now, the TPSM light is on at the dashboard. These tires are messy! There is some sort of residue along the rims, colored markers on outside of tires. This does not look like a professional job. The waiting room was dirty and unstocked. The computer system was down for time to checkout. I didn't get to leave until 10:20. The Pep Boys employee was on the phone with tech support to get through this. I want to know why your location was open for 2 hours before that was even noticed!?! This whole experience points to poor training, poor morale, poor management or the combination of the three. I want you to tell me why I or anyone I know should ever spend another dollar or moment at your store? My time and money were clearly not important to your team. Service sets you apart. This clearly includes poor service.

Unsafe, Unprofessional, and Zero Accountability – Worst Experience at Pep Boys I had an absolutely horrible and unacceptable experience at Pep Boys that I feel others need to be aware of. I drove my vehicle to Pep Boys with no issues, dropped it off strictly to have tires mounted, balanced, and aligned, and somehow ended up having to tow my vehicle when I came to pick it up. After their service, my vehicle was no longer drivable. It was later discovered that my brake line had been damaged while in their care. This is a serious safety issue, and there is absolutely no excuse for a vehicle to leave a shop in that condition—especially when it was driven there without any problems. When I brought this to their attention, the situation only got worse. The manager refused to take any responsibility and instead tried to claim that my vehicle was already in that condition when I dropped it off. That statement is completely false. I drove the vehicle to Pep Boys myself and would not have been able to do so if the brake line was damaged. Their attempt to shift blame rather than take accountability was extremely unprofessional. To make matters worse, they did not even complete the full services, yet still allowed the vehicle to leave their shop in an unsafe condition. Because of the brake line damage, I had no choice but to have the vehicle towed to another shop for repairs, costing me additional time, money, and stress. This experience was infuriating and dangerous. Damaging a customer’s brake line, refusing responsibility, and implying the customer is at fault is completely unacceptable. I will never return to Pep Boys, and I strongly urge anyone reading this to think twice before trusting them with your vehicle—especially when it comes to safety-critical components.

While leaving work my car battery completely died. I called pep boys knowing they would be closing very soon. Shawn the assistant manager and rich the technician along with others ensured my vehicle was running and safe for me to get back on the road. These men went out of their way for me late on a Friday evening to which I am beyond grateful. I highly recommend their services.

Online reservation system was easy (oil change and tire rotation). Lagging computer systems added some extra time at check in. Had to wait longer than original time estimate due to not having my cars oil filter on hand. Would have liked to have known that in case I needed to make other arrangements (I did not, but it would have been nice to know). Web updates did revise the time estimate and provided feedback from their inspection, but the progress meter did not update so it was not very clear where in the process the car was. Coupon was easily applied to my bill. Payment process went quickly and smoothly. Happy with the work. Will come back for the same services again.

I went in for a flat tire repair, an oil change, and an overall inspection of the vehicle just to make sure everything was working properly. I was informed that they were short staffed and that it would take a while, which I appreciated instead of being lied to which has happened before. I was then surprised when they messaged me a little while later that the car was done. The tire repair was perfect, the car ran like a dream and they didn't try to sell me on anything extra. These guys are fantastic, kind, and highly knowledgeable. I wish I could give them 6 stars.
