Called to schedule a Lyft inspection for my vehicle and spoke to a gentleman named Mike. He was very helpful in telling me everything I would need before coming in to receive the services. Upon arrival I was greeted by chance by the same person I spoke with (Mike). There was a few people ahead of me but their hospitality while waiting was definitely spot on southern hospitality. I honestly didn’t wait to long and when done he made sure to advise of their rewards program and other services offered for future if I needed them. It was an overall great experience. Specially being a female I did not few taken advantage coming into their establishment!!

If I could do no stars I would. My tire valve blew and the way to work at 6 am. My coworker offered to be late to work to bring me and the tire to the store. We were at the store when they said they opened at 7am. We sat in the parking lot for almost 45 min trying to get seen. I called them 3 times and got put on hold 3 times being told that they were trying to see if a mechanic was available to replace the valve. Ended up going to another shop and they saw us as soon as we walked into the building.

On Sunday an engine warning light came on in my 2007 Jeep. I drove to PepBoys who scanned the code & diagnosed multiple possible issues. Took the vehicle in next morning (Monday) & had a report by phone within a few hours. I approved the estimate which included cleaning air intake carbon build-up & new air filter. Collected the vehicle in the afternoon & it runs perfectly. Service was fast & explanation of the problem was carefully explained.

I was absolutely exhausted trying to find someone to install my tires. Walmart had scheduled an installation appointment for me, and I had already purchased the tires through them. But when I arrived, I was told they couldn’t install tires on a size 21 rim. I was beyond frustrated—tired, angry, and disappointed. Then I arrived at Pep Boys, and everything changed. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a calmness I desperately needed. The gentleman who greeted me could see I was upset, but he reassured me with kindness and confidence: “We’ve got you. We’ll take care of it.” And they did exactly that. They honored their word, handled the installation professionally, and treated me with the respect and care that turned my whole day around. I left feeling relieved, grateful, and truly seen. I will absolutely return to Pep Boys whenever I need service. The good: They accepted the tow, conducted the repair in a day, and gave a military discount (awesome!! Thank you!) The bad: zero communication on the front end. I didn’t know when the vehicle would be diagnosed. It was towed in around lunchtime, and I had to call at 4 to figure out what was happening. I would have appreciated a call to acknowledge that the vehicle arrived and that they were either working on it or that it wouldn’t be diagnosed until the next morning. Either way would have been fine, but no communication was a bit unnerving. The ugly: Customer service phone-etiquette was severely lacking. Very curt and overly matter-of-fact. A little empathy in situations like this goes a long way for customers.

If you need service, find somewhere, literally anywhere else. Called in advance for simple oil change, arrived on time, truck didn't move for over 2 hours. Building and waiting area disgusting, trash on floors and parts laying all over the floor, not kid friendly. Total time for simple service 3+ hours. Terrible employees. Helped turn new people away while waiting after explaining the wait. Hope this saves you the headache!

The quality of service was above par to other shops I've been in last few months. The corporate office needs to get these great group of guys store finished up. But when it comes to tire work and other things they are way above the norm in the area. Kept car clean, didn't scratch rims and the level of mounting and balancing tires out of last 4 places I visted last 2 months is best around. And no vibration hopping anything all the way up to 80 mph plus. Givem a shot for tires and maintenance. Won't be disappointed
