I just have to say how much I truly appreciate this Pep Boys location! Every time I come in, I feel genuinely taken care of—and that means the world to me. The entire team is fantastic, but I have to give a special shoutout to Abel. He consistently goes above and beyond, and it’s clear that he really cares about the customers who walk through those doors. Even though Trey did a great job with my car today—and I’m so thankful for his help—I still want to send my deepest thanks to Abel. Over time, I’ve had different team members work on my car here, and no matter who it is, they’re always kind, professional, and in great spirits. That kind of consistent, positive energy speaks volumes about the leadership and the culture at this location. Abel, you and your team are clearly doing something right! I’ll admit, I was a bit hesitant to come here at first. This location looks a little older compared to the newer one just down the road. I cannot begin to express how much David M. at Pep Boys East Brandon helped me with just taking time to listen to me. I went to several tire stores today just to explain my problem and ask for guidance on my best option and not one seemed to be interested in talking but just selling. When I walked in the door I was met with a smile and a how can I help you. That itself was a relief. I explained myself and what my car needed and he instantly said " I can help". My day instantly turned around by his genuine kindness and also his price was far more reasonable than the others. Forever customer now and no need to look around. I'm always coming back because of David M.and telling all my friends and family. He is definitely an asset to Pep Boys.

I had requested nothing but an oil change, no inspection of tires, shocks, brakes, cabin / engine air filters, etc. Nothing was said back to me at that time. Later I found the tech doing the inspections and since I had a glove box broken when someone checked the cabin filter before I got someone to stop the tech doing the inspections and finish the oil change I came in for. When talking with the front desk advisor at check out he said "he has to do it" and when I asked about what if he did find something the advisor said "I wasn't going to tell you". Just what I wanted to hear from paying a higher price for an oil change than I expected , having work done I specified to NOT do, then having a service person lie to me was not a pleasant experience.

Dropped my car off on a Saturday morning and no one called me to let me know anything. The app they use for progress never moved either. I had to call the next day and they said the tech who was looking at the car won't be in until Monday at 8am and they don't know where he was in the process. The communication isn't great here and I can't tell you how the repair work is because they didn't do anything before I picked my car up and took it to a real mechanic.

I had a nail in tire showed up 10 mins before closing and Zach and the mechanic both took time to look at tire.put on spare and work me.in for a new tire in the morning, I stopped 3 placesbefoe them in way down 60 and these guys stopped and help..this pep boys really cars enough to help..thank you!!

I have to say this is the best experience I’ve had at any auto shop I’ve been to. They had fair prices and a really quick turn it was a big job and got my car back same day! David and his crew was very professional and they were able to help us in our time of need. I hope I don’t have many more car issues in the future but if I do I trust Pep boys here in E brandon to do the job 10/10 recommend.

I normally don’t do bad reviews but in this case I thought it was important because the issues remain weeks after my service here. About a month ago, I got a flat tire and had my vehicle towed to this location. They seemed very empathetic and assured me they would try to repair it. Ok great. Since my car was ALMOST due for an oil change, I asked for them to complete that service as well. A few hours later they called and said that my tire would need to be replaced but they wouldn’t get the tire in until the next day. At that time I expected the cost would increase significantly and asked them not to complete the oil change. At that time, they stated that it was already done. Seemed odd but I said ok. Later that night, my car sent me a notification indicating that some work was being done. It doesn’t do this for a simple tire change. Anyhow, I ensured my husband was with me when I returned the next day and after he asked a few questions on the timing, they decided to credit the oil change. I was very appreciative. My review is based not only on the confusion and lack of trust in this location but also because I’m still smelling oil every time I start my car. And just yesterday as I was driving through the heavy rain, I started hearing scraping. When I stopped, I noticed that my “oil cover” (sorry I don’t know what it’s called) was hanging from the bottom of my car. It’s been very disappointing. I’m not saying not to go there if you need to but I unfortunately will not be visiting another Pep Boys…ever.

I wish others would give the details in their reviews too because the little details matter where they are a part of the whole. Like when I'm making a decision I want to compare to similar a dentist that did outstanding on your cleaning of teeth doesn't say if he's good at pulling teeth! Ya know ... Share and share in a manner that gives the benefits of the true value.... ✌🏼 that's my intention in my reviews Update: I'm not changing the star nor the original write up just so this is all transparent in giving the truth (I'm not perfect and own up to my faults, I'm honest) I give my apologies to Pep Boys as I was NOT OVERCHARGED AS I ORIGINALLY STATED. Where I was NOT CHARGED FOR THE INSTALLATION! In my defense The additional fee was listed under the title of installation though the fee charged was actually the additional road warranty I PURCHASED. That is the only correction at this time as everything else in the original review remains true to this day. *Which, personally I can reasonably state this as a reason being overcharged, because when you pay for a service you deserve to at least have the purpose fulfilled. Which includes all the details. And I was not given that. Where the ideally you not only get all the details, you get them in a manner that gives arruance in believing you purchased high quality products and service. I mean we are referring to a motor vehicle that you drive yourself and your loved ones about in I think it's safe to say we all desire the piece of mind where we trust our vehicle is in safe working order! YOU NEED TO BE SAFE. Unfortunately, I DIDN'T get this from the service I purchased from Pep Boys. And I still have the TPMS (tire pressure monitor system) light lit up in my dash. And that bothers me. I just purchased new tires and would like the ability to know if one is TRULY LOW ON AIR! Where my car does have the ability it just needs the attention of proper service given. Where I told the check in guy I needed to have this checked because the light came on and has stayed on ever since I was rear-ended. And this gives more reason to my needing the "details" of my purchase! Pep Boys you failed me. You should give the correction and if you do I will raise the star rating to 3, I just can't give anymore than that due to the fact that I firmly believe this should have never been experienced by me or anyone EVER for the intent was not fulfilled much less quality. Where I this 3 star fulfills and 4. &5 is the quality aspect. Just say'in from my opinion which stems from my own personal experience. Original review: I hate giving such low rating however it's just what it is. I bought a four set of tires 4 wheel alignment and additional road hazard warranty online which said installation was free. Also asked to check the tpms. Had a 7 am appointment first one and was told no more than an hour. Well these two men were simply tired looking and gossipy I didn't get out until a little after 11 am! They charged me for the installation and never said anything about the tpms and when I left light remains on. My receipt didn't show any details of prior alignment nor post nor does it give tire brand nor name. After spending so much time and close to $700 bucks I'm pissed I have never had a bad experience at Pep Boys but I had never been to this particular location either. Just awful never again. It's the one close to the swimming pool supply store on hwy 60 in Brandon Fl I don't recommend this store.

Ben, David and JD!! These 3 men helped me out inspecting my car. We paid $40.99 (total for the inspection.) Took about an hour They were super sweet they close at 7pm however it’s 7:44 and they just finished my car (and they seem to be finishing up the cars in their bay) When my car was done David came and answered all my mother’s questions (as well as my husband’s) he was very thorough with the explanations which I deeply appreciate. They went above and beyond expectations. 100% earned all 5 stars. I’ll be calling soon to book an appointment to get my car fixed!

The folks here at Pep Boys got me in super quickly, realized that my tire had a nail in it. Unfortunately, the lug nuts were needed to be hammered off and I had another appointment to go to. The guys got me set up for the following day which was a Sunday and they got me in and they did a fantastic job on my vehicle and I would definitely recommend the folks at Pep Boys. They are amazing. In fact I will be going back for some other work.

Made a same day appointment to replace my tire. I brought it in off the truck and needed the old, shredded tire, ripped off and the new one mounted and balanced. I came in on time and from start to finish, was out the door in less than 15 minutes! Ben and David were so helpful with everything on the front side and even directed me to the best place to buy the new lug nuts I needed. David on the service side was done in a flash and done right! 10/10 will be back for any other tire needs!

I scheduled an appointment at Pep Boys to address a slow leak in my tire. After a quick peak at my tires, I was already being told that I would probably need new tires. About an hour after dropping off my vehicle, I received a detailed tire report via text, indicating that both rear tires had nails but were repairable. A few moments later the representative called me and went over the report, still told me I should buy new tires, which I declined as all I wanted at the moment was to repair the tires and look at pricing elsewhere so we agreed only to have the two rear tires repaired. However, just five minutes later, I received another message—this time with a photo showing a large, fresh-looking gash in one of my tires. The technician stated that the car was unsafe to drive and claimed the only options were to replace the tires or put on the spare. They admitted this damage was missed during the initial inspection. The gash appeared about 6-8 inches long, with sharp, clean edges and no dirt or debris, raising serious concerns about how and when the damage occurred or how such a large gash could have been missed, but a small nail be located on the same tire. Especially how it was after the tires were inspected and the report was sent out with photos of the nails. There would have been no way that with the size of this gash that I would have been able to drive over 100 miles and still have 25lbs of air in my tire. Ultimately, I felt forced into purchasing new tires—ironically, exactly what the front desk had started saying from minute one. It left me wondering if this was an honest oversight or an attempt to meet a sales quota. The excuses were the tech was new. I left feeling misled and disappointed in the integrity of this store. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere if you’re looking for honest, reliable service.

The staff seemed nice enough set me up well. They originally set me at ease and told me I would make it home safe with a working vehicle. Unfortunately, I was stranded and thought that I found quality help at pepboys. I was told water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, engine coil and valve cover gasket needed to be replaced. After 2000 it wasnt repaired and I barely made it home. It overheated the engine on the way home..I found out out that it didnt need these things and I was charged an absobment amount. The car had no fluid in the coolant system causing more damge. I got home for the most expensive Uber of my life. These guys seemed like they genuinely cared but instead what did I get for 1900? Nothing more codes and a car that still was not repaired. I am Definitely not a happy customer.
