Horrible place. Told me one price and added hundreds more without my permission. Became beligerant when questioning him. Very slow in repairs and I always had to call him for updates. I would not recommend this shop.

I broke down in my Mercedes clk350 outside of Bakersfield on a Saturday bad fuel pump. Performance was basically the only shop open which turned out to be a great thing. 2nd time with this shop, and each time I have left happy. Relaxed and friendly staff. Helped with a starter issue the first time. Just recently fixed an exhaust issue/damage because of someone’s failed attempt to steal my catalytic converter. Not sure what Dan and the crew did, but my car runs smoother than it did before I brought it in.

This place is in no way a performance shop. Tried getting a quote over the phone but he wanted to see the vehicle, which is understandable. He never gave me a quote and after his mechanic messing with a few things over a a couple days and really doing nothing I was charged $1000 or he was going to keep my vehicle. Danny seems to be nice but this is just another one of his failed business’s. Should of known when I walked in and seen a bunch of old karate equipment he use to sell. They may do basic repairs but this is in no way a mechanic shop.

Good, down to earth, solid, and honest people who care. I can't thank the guys at this shop enough. excellent customer service, and great mechanics/specialists. took my 99 dodge ram 5.9 turbo diesel pilot escort vehicle to them for a power steering system repair, they were able to handle it the same day to ensure i could continue working on the next, as they knew i was from out of town and laying over for the one day. My son was traveling out of state and his car broke down late on a Friday afternoon but Danny was able to squeeze him just before closing. He was able to diagnose the problem and get him back on the road, allowing my son to reach his destination on time. So very appreciated. If they give this kind of service to an "out of towner", then I'm sure their even more reliable for regulars!
