Alvin is awesome. He did a ppi to be sure the GLC 300 was good prior to buying. Alvin took me underneath the car and showed me in great detail how everything looked, including the engine. He explained the pros and cons and what to look for and how maintenance works on these vehicles. He took his time and was very patient and knowledgeable. Alvin is one of the best mechanics you could ever wish for. You can tell from his passion for cars and knowledge that you can trust him and if he doesn’t have an answer right away, he will find the out the root cause to best help you while being fair with pricing. He has helped us out countless times in the past 8 years. Most recently with installing aftermarket wheels and suspension on our Genesis G80 in time for our wedding, along with towing / fixing a disastrous brake failure caused by a previous shops mistakes that had come to light which included stripping 2 wheel studs and both front calipers bolt screws. I was super frustrated with the previous shop, not only because they had messed up my vehicle, but to not even be honest in telling us so we can get it fixed properly instead of risking sudden deaths on the road. As a detailing business owner that manages multiple car clubs, I don’t trust easily when it comes shops working on our vehicles since they are our prized possessions. Unfortunately we were wrong about the previous shop since they seemed honest and were much closer to us. We don’t ever mind driving far to have it done right here at Performance Imports Automotive. Alvin’s admirable and tries his best to finish your vehicle in a timely manner. Highly recommended and can’t wait to come back in the future.
