Went in with a list of items that I thought I should do based on mileage and symptoms. Rather than do the entire list, he inspected everything and told me a few of those items were fine, saving me money. Had front suspension work done and brakes and his pricing was very fair and this truck rides better than it has the entire time i've owned it. (2010 silverado bought in 2016.) They are practicing safety precautions during covid19, showing they care about customers, and he was able to complete the extensive service list before the eta he set for completion.

Took my car to Phil's when my fan motor stopped working. I was thrilled to find out the issue was a Resistor Pack rather the the Motor itself which would have been much more costly. Many local repair shops would have said it the blower motor just to jack up the price, but Phil's was honest and fast (same day service). Price was reasonable too. I recommend Phil's Auto Clinic on Culver Rd in Seabreeze. Good folks!

Went here because it’s down the street and had great reviews. Since going initially Phil has done a transmission rebuild, wheel bearings, ball joints, and some other odds and ends for us that I don’t want to do in my driveway. 0 complaints. Prices are fair and he always stands by his work. I’ll keep throwing money his way since: honest mechanics are hard to come by, supporting local business is a must, and Phil and his wife are great people. Lucky to have such a great shop a few blocks away.

I brought my vehicle to Phil's for the very first time. I unfortunately had an older car and I couldn't get it repaired due to the vehicle being old and having 2215 miles. Phil was so honest about the vehicle and unfortunately it needed to be salvaged. Sue was beyond empathetic knowing my dad had just passed and I was going to have anither surgery. Sue took her time to call 4 different salvage yards for me because she has a business repoir with them. Sue immediately got me the necessary price that I was looking at. My husband and I cleaned out the car and Sue took her time to check again and yes found some small things left behind that she brought to me due to the fact this repair shop was very close to my home. Sue also arranged a tow and the transaction of payment to me. Again Sue comes to my door today knowing about my dad and my surgery and not only brings me the monetary value of the vehicle but she personally brings it to me at home with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. I have NEVER been a customer there but Sue acted like we had known each other for years and again they have NEVER SERVICED MY VEHICLE. Unfortunately in today's world basic kindness and empathy don't exist I still would recommend this repair shop and know that honesty and sincerity go more than a long way. Thank you

I called and explained what was going on with my car and asked about pricing. The owner was very rude and had zero customer service skills. He snapped at me that it would be $130 just to look at my car and that price would not come off if I had him repair it. I don't care about the money but I would never give it to a business that can't even be polite on the phone.
