I don't leave many reviews but Carlos was an honest guy. He diagnosed, was communicative, and fixed my Jeep Wrangler air condition quickly and at a fair price. Other mechanics would have lazily replaced the entire air condition part and cost a fortune. He found the problem and simply replaced an air condition valve which was causing the issue and it worked! Great place. I will be coming back for any future repairs and highly recommend to others.

This is an excellent place to service my car and pickup truck. Carlos keeps it humming like it's brand new! I recommend this shop to anyone who wants an honest mechanic at a fair price. My father once told me that, when you find a good mechanic it’s like finding a good doctor. I read some of the comments before I posted. I feel the same way others do; Carlos is a very honest mechanic. He tells you exactly what is wrong with your vehicle. Then Carlos fixes it swiftly and charges reasonable prices! Plantation Car Care Center is a great place for upkeep and repairs for your vehicle!

Please don’t come here if you don’t want to be talk to any kind of way. Please don’t come here if you care about your car Don’t come here if you care about customer service. Certainly don’t come here if you are a woman. I’m going to start by saying Carlos is rude,l and disrespectful and talked to me like I was his child. He also gives off a condescending tone. For reference I’m a woman. I came to this shop because it was recommended to me. The issues I was having with my car was: -the engine light was on -the AC is only blowing hot air not cold air -every time I reverse than have to put the car back in drive it makes a “gulp” sound. - lastly my car make a squeaky noice when I press on the break. …..Friday the 13th of December I came here and talked to him, straight off the bat I can tell this man is not patient, he doesn’t even seem like he’s listening to what I was saying. I bought up all of those issues with him the first time I came to him. For reference my mom was also with me. He said okay I will check it out. He made one of his mechanics check it out and came back to me and said the engine filter for the AC need to be replaced because it’s filthy and that’s why there is no cold air coming out of the car. Which it was filthy, he showed it to me. I asked him about it again and he bought me out where the mechanic was looking at the car and was explaining it to me again. While he was explaining it to me he seems distracted, HE ALWAYS SEEMS DISTRACTED every time we talked. The more I ask him questions, the more agitated he seems to get. He said the “gulp” sound is coming from something called the golden mount that need to be replaced. He also said the squeaky sound is normal and there’s nothing wrong with it. I questioned him about it again a couple minutes later, because again he doesn’t seem like he was listening so he made one of his mechanics take a drive with me to see if the noise was still there and when I was driving with the mechanic it wasn’t so I dropped the issue. I said okay but l wanted to come back because I wanted my dad ( a man ) to be there because although he’s not a mechanic, he knows more about cars than me. ……..Monday the 16th of December ….. When me and my dad came back he said the same thing but we got the wrong filter so we had to go back to get the right one. On our way to get the filter my dad starts to question things and knew something is off. Changing a filter cannot be the reason why the AC is blowing hot air. So when we came back to him my dad questioned him and he said “ I never said the filter is the reason why the AC is blowing hot air” to that I said I told you about the AC from the beginning. He said “I told him the AC was broken not that it was only pushing out hot air”. Please understand that he also said the AC is fine, there’s nothing wrong with it, I just need to change the filter. Following that statement he said “ don’t get on my wrong side, because I can just not touch your car”. I am currently sitting in this shop, and just prior to writing this review and realized i should’ve read the reviews before I came here . This shop have a 4.7/5 rating and I’m starting to wonder why. The bad reviews I’ve read so far came from a black woman, one other woman and a man. So I can’t say that he’s racist so what’s his problem with me!! There’s also people here sitting beside me in this shop and he did not give them the same stink attitude he gave me. He’s joking around with other Spanish speakers like himself and laughing which is great. A couple came in earlier and he was joking around with them but he gave me and my mom bad customer service. I just wish he didn’t treat me like that. Both time I came to the shop he gave me the same tone. —- The mechanic that was checking my car on Friday seems really nice. I wish I read those reviews sooner because it’s crazy how an individual can ruin your day. I can also tell he doesn’t care that he gives bad customer service because he knows nothing is going to done about it. All in all he seems like a miserable man.

It’s rare I have to give someone this review, but sadly I have to. Having a Dodge and coming to see Carlos, it is very rough, car has had battery issues and when we went to get it replaced, he said it was all good. Car has died and not turned on in 3 different occasions in two weeks. Car has had to be towed and jump started at least twice. Just last week, went to see him again to make sure the car was good, no issues with the battery, and he said it was fine and working correctly…. It died this morning again before work. When we went to get a second opinion, different mechanic said the battery was not correctly installed and even found other issues. Would NOT RECOMMEND, especially if you have a dodge.

Carlos shop got recommended to me since my car battery kept loosing power I thought it was the battery but it was the positive terminal that was loose and had. A screw. My husband took it there and Carlos looked at it for free and fixed it at no charge! He’s sent from heaven . Definitely would recommend not a lot of mechanics like him out here .

Got a very bad flat on the way to Halloween Horror Night at Universal Studios in Orlando with the family (perfect timing). Got off the Turnpike and ran into Plantation Car Care. They were super helpful and gave me an excellent price on a new tire, since my old one was damaged really bad. If you are heading to Orlando and get a flat or need any other car repairs, this is the place.

**Extremely Disappointed with Service at Plantation Car Care** I had a very negative experience with Carlos at Plantation Car Care. I brought my car in on a Saturday morning because it was overheating. Just two weeks prior, I had a thermostat replaced by another mechanic, but when Carlos called me later that day, he insisted that the thermostat was bad again. When I mentioned that I was experiencing a leak, he seemed unwilling to listen, which was really frustrating. I left my car there until Monday morning, with the assurance that he would address it first thing like he told me. However, when I returned at 8 AM, Carlos acted confused about my presence. I was told it would take an hour for him to provide me with the supposedly defective thermostat so I could return it, as it had a warranty. After waiting, Carlos claimed that the part from two weeks ago was used instead of new, leading me to feel like I had been taken advantage of by the previous mechanic. However, when I picked up the new thermostat, it turned out to be the same one I already had. Then Carlos asked me about the sensor he said should be on the old thermostat. After going back to the store, I found out the sensor was never on the thermostat at all, which led me to purchase a new one at my own expense. Ultimately, I took my car to another mechanic due to the persistent leak and discovered I had serious issues with the water pump and radiator. It was shocking to find out that Carlos did not identify these problems during my visit. It felt as if he wasn't interested in properly diagnosing the issues. I would never take my car back to Plantation Car Care, and I cannot recommend their services to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for reliable car care.

Poor service and Arrogant Attitude.. I had been coming to Plantation car care for almost two years, but my most recent experience made me decide never to return Two days ago my car broke down In Hallandale Beach after a job interview. When I tried to drive, it wouldn't move in "Drive"- only in Reverse." Worried, I called the owner, Carlos Aguilar, and asked If I could have my car towed to his shop.. He said yes . When the tow truck dropped off my car, Carlos saw me but barely acknowledge my presence, he didn't even ask what was wrong with my car- he just told the driver where to park it After the tow truck left, I tried to speak with him, but he completely ignore me, walking pass me several times with unpleasant attitude. When I finally handed him my keys, all he said was, " call me tomorrow " The next morning I call him at 9 AM because I needed my car Urgently. He told me the transmission was bad and would need to be disassemble, but offered no real details. He said it would take over a week to fix. That sounded strange to me , so I decided to stop by the shop in person. When I arrive, I noticed my car was still parked exactly where I had left it- it hadn't even move inside the shop. When I asked for an update, Carlos just handed me my keys and said, with attitude, "If you want to go somewhere else, they'll charge you $3,000 At that point, I realized he simply didn't want to deal with my car. If the shop was too busy or If he doesn't handle transmission repairs, he could have just said so politely and honestly. Instead he was dismissive and rude I ended up finding another repair shop nearby with excellent reviews, where the staff was respectful, attentive, and professional - a completely different experience. In Conclusion: I will never come back to Plantation Car Care again, and I strongly do not recommend this shop. Carlos Aguilar is unprofessional and Arrogant, and no customer deserves to be treated that way

GO TO ANOTHER SHOP. If you have money, extra funds I wouldn't come here, these people are liable to play with your time and your money, if they waste your time they will play with your car I arrived at 8am, when I got here there was no one here. I should have known they lacked professionalism I got my car checked and carlos told me it was my window motor. He said I would have to come back at 2:30, I thought it was a bit strange that it would take 5 hours to get a part so I was patient. I came back at 2:00 and Carlos still don't have the part. He pretended to call someone while he had the part here the whole entire time. They started working on the car, for him to say it's the power switch. 7 hours of my day wasted and my car is still not fixed. If you don't want your time wasted, please go another shop. Carlos cannot be trusted, GO TO ANOTHER SHOP UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR TIME WASTED.

Many have proven to be dishonest thieves to me Carlos the owner has been one of the most honest and responsible mechanics I have ever known. Now sometime his shop gets overwhelmed. and that's a good thing But that is because customers know he is going to give you the truth about your car and cost to repair . Great service and reasonable pricing with Carlos. Went in on Tuesday to order tires, received a call Wednesday morning the tires were in and to come on over. Dropped off the car and it was ready a couple of hours later. No muss, no fuss, easy. Thank you!
