Very friendly, honest and fair independent Porsche mechanic, never overcharges or finds things to fix, probably half the cost of a Porsche dealer.

Peter is a honest person, I instantly felt that I was in good hands and would not be taken advantage of. I'm a woman driving a Porsche, but Peter took care of me. Locking Peter in, my new best friend.

Peter is great and creative. I went in ready to pay for a MFI pump overhaul on my 911E, but he was able to get it going with a detailed service. 4 years later, it still runs great.

I sent my 1984 shop loaner car to LA while we worked on a client's car here in Orange County. A few days later client notifies me that the car won't start. After researching mechanics in the Pasadena area, I found a Porsche specialist, StruttCar, and spoke with Peter about the situation. I had the 944 towed to Pete'rs shop, and within hours Peter had diagnosed a bad starter. Angela followed up with me and walked me through the process and pricing. One day later, everything was complete and my client picked up the loaner car. All this was done over the phone, sight unseen, and with me trusting a complete stranger of a repair shop. In a world of unscrupulous businesses in the automotive industry, it's refreshing to know places like StruttCar exist as a specialist for Porsches, know what they're doing, competent in executing the repair, and conducting business the old-fashioned way...trust and integrity.

Peter and Angie are small business owners. Angie is honest with the billing, and Peter knows everything about Porsches. I have had a few frustrations working with them, but that is because Porsche service on a 1990 Carrera is frustrating business. If you are involved in the love/hate relationship that is owning a Porsche, you should take your car to these people.

I'm a member of Rennlist the Porsche forums, and asked some people for a referral to care for my 2010 GT3 and my 2015 GTS. Most repair shops had supporters that like them and detractors that didn't. Except one: Stuttcar Service. Not a single negative comment. I was warned ahead of time about his big smile, humble attitude, and his work apron. And so it was when I arrived. Prices are great. The dealer said it was four hours to change a pipe which was ridiculous. Peter did it in one. No weird vibe upselling. No attitude. Just a great mechanic that knows Porsches and loves them.

I have been going to Stuttcar for almost 10 years now. I own 2 Porsches and I will not take them anywhere else. Peter fixes legitimate problems (if any). He has integrity, his prices are very fair (much better than any dealer and even better than some other independent shops), and his service is second to none.

Look no further !!!!! I have a 1981 911 and Peter has been honest fair and always cares about the customer. He is friendly easy to work with and is dependable. There is no question he can't answer and always has great ideas for repairs and problems. Having an older Porsche can be tricky, he's by far the best !!!!!

If you have a Porsche, go and see Peter. He is probably the most honest and affordable Porsche mechanic expert in LA. I went to see him regarding some squeaky sounds emanating from the front, which I also heard in the wheels when going over bumps. He test drove with me on the freeway and ascertained there were no problems. Nonetheless, he hoisted my car up and checked it out thoroughly. Everything was fine except one of the wires underneath the ignition was lose, he tightened it up, and I was good to go. Other places including the dealership had quoted prices for at least a couple of hours just to check the car out. Peter politely comped my visit, saying he didn't have to fix anything, so he wasn't going to charge me this time. Unreal...you mean people like this still exist! Wow! Thank you so much Pete and Angie!

** Peter is Honest, Reliable, and Affordable. Committed to his trade and using only original Porsche parts! ** Needed my water pump replaced on my Porsche Cayman 2008. His wife Angie is very professional and a great listener. She was able to fit me into their schedule for the same day. Peter worked on my car and had it ready to go the next day. Called several shops near by and they wanted $1200 just for labor. Peter charged me $800 for labor and including all OEM Porsche parts. StuttCar is my new mechanic for now on. I will make sure to recommend this location to all my family and friends. Thank you Peter and Angie

I took my porsche 911 for pre purchase inspection (PPI) at this shop. Peter provided a report after 2 hours of evaluation and basically gave me a clean report on the car. I purchased the vehicle based on Peter's report and a week later, I noticed a leak from the bottom of the vehicle. My mechanic took a look and there was a leak from the steering rack and the front axles were both bad. This was a pricy repair that I didn't anticipate. I don't think Peter is dishonest, but I am disappointed that these issues were not discovered on the supposedly thorough PPI.

This shop is fantastic. Peter (Owner) is the nicest guy. They did the front and rear pads and rotors on my 2017 Macan S at just over half the cost quoted by a nearby chain Porsche shop.
